After having a new modem installed by the cable company, I was having problem after problem with my internet. I installed updated software for my old wireless network adapter, but the problems didn't go away. I purchased this adapter, and my problems disappeared. Installation was painless. I installed the software and plugged in the adapter when prompted. Very happy with purchase.

Works fine, they even give you a CD for older computers. Has a status light, so far three weeks out no issues on our 6 yr old desktop for internet use.

Good range. It was a great improvement for an older laptop; the factory Wireless NIC that came with that older Toshiba laptop was not able to connect to the home router since the reception was showing as poor. Once I installed this Linksys AC600: "Boom!!!" Connection was excellent.

Was in a pinch and needed to get a wireless connection to a computer that could not easily get a Ethernet Cable two. This device offered good features at a reasonable price. Was easy to setup once drivers where installed on a windows 7 computer not sure if windows 10 has the drivers to plug and play. Easy to connect and stable connection with no issues over the last month.

I bought this device to replace an internal wi-fi card that suddenly failed after many years of use in an old laptop. The laptop is running Windows 10 upgraded from a Windows 7 install several years ago. It was necessary to use the included CD to install a driver for the device in order to get it to work. I have only had the device for a few hours as I write this, but it appears to work as well as the old internal wi-fi card that it replaced. Hope it remains that way. Some technical details: Plug the device into a USB port. Load the CD. Go to Control Panel Device Manager and Scan for Hardware Changes. When you see the device under Network Adapters, choose Update Driver. Point Windows to browse the CD for a driver. Once it's installed the device should work immediately.

The wi-fi in our laptop needed to be replaced. Linksys's USB adapter is perfect. During installation Window's wouldn't find the driver and would not use the CD that came with the adapter. A quick trip to Linksys's web site I downloaded the install file and it works great!

I have an old computer and the wifi card went out. Ordered this, plugged it in and was back in service. I did need to disable my old wifi card for a stronger signal. Really don't notice a difference in wifi speed, except it takes a few more seconds when powering up the computer. Easy fix for a great price.

Used this to replace a less expensive dual band AC wireless network adapter that just kept dropping out. This one works head and shoulders above the previous. Anywhere I go within the house connectivity is never lost vs. the previous USB adapter which could drop in the same room as the Access Point.
