I purchased this product for a friend based on my past experience with Linksys products. It has good range and sets up very easily.

This WiFi router works excellent for a Dell tower. Super easy set up. To this day I've never had issues with it. I use it to VPN to the office network with no issues. The loading speeds are fast as well. I highly recommend it as it's small and inexpensive.

My older Dell desktop began failing to connect to the Internet over a period of a few weeks. I'd have to reboot and wait and wait and finally, it no longer connected. That's tough as my work demands a constant, dependable Internet connection to my WiFi. I checked around and discovered that it was possible to gain access to my WiFi signal via a USB WiFi adapter, but I was so skeptical that this really simple (and CHEAP) item would really solve my problem. Because it was so stupidly cheap, I figured I could buy one and test it out and if it didn't perform as claimed, I'd be able to get a refund - I love Best Buy for that, they always treat me right. So I ended up buying not one, but two of them, one for each of my desktop Windows computers. And to my utter surprise and delight, those little suckers actually gave me superb Internet speeds like I never even had when my system was brand new. Amazing how such a small and low-priced piece of hardware can make such a profound improvement. So...I am now a believer!

Okay, here is a comparison with real numbers. I bought this for my folks who live in the country. Wireless (via cell towers) or satellite was their only internet option. Bottom line I purchased a complete wireless cell setup to give them high speed internet. They are in a cell hole so any improvement helped. With that alone and Dad's computer having only 2.4ghz they routinely (average) got about 14 mbps. Sad to say we were happy to get that in their location. With this USB adapter it bumped to average 21 mbps. Being Dad only has USB 2.0 connections (no 3.0) a 30%+ increase was great for their location. On my home computer (desktop) that I tried it out on (we are in the city with really fast internet) before plugging it in I only averaged about 27 mbps, only wireless. It was faster with a LAN cord plugged in of course. When I tried this Linksys out here with 5ghz (wireless only) I got 172 mbps? HUGE increase! I did not keep it for days to see averages but I was quite happy. Computer speed and everything else factors in but it really was a difference, especially in my home desktop my wife uses. I plan to buy another one for it after seeing results myself. For the one-time $40 I paid it made great differences in USB 2.0 ports on two computers that will perform forever (theoretically). Your results may vary of course but I am extremely happy and certainly recommend. I did give it only three stars for ease of use as I did have to struggle a bit to get it working on both computers. No fault of the product but Windows 10 computer security made it a bit troublesome to get installed. Darn Windows 10, hard to run as Administrator which caused my headaches at first. It does function fantastic beyond that once operational.

Wifi that's easy to use and transport. What a great way to get wifi if you repair PCs or travel a lot. I like that it's compact, no external antenna and that it's relatively inexpensive.

Bought this for use on my father-in-laws PC when he moved in with us. This product: 1) Was simple to install 2) Was simple to set up 3) Has worked flawlessly 4) Is small and unobtrusive I would recommend this product to anyone.

This item worked to perfection. My internet speed increased on my computer. Simple plug-in.

This adapter is small and easy to connect. I had it up and running is less than 5 minutes!

This Wi-Fi receiver works great it’s very small and it was very easy to install on my PC

I just purchased a new desktop pc and have access to free wi-fi with my apartment complex. This network adapter was easy to install and as far as I could tell, works. My problem was that the router is in a different unit and the signal would drop constantly. I ended up calling the cable company and getting my own service. I also ended up returning this adapter as I no longer needed it.

This product is reasonably priced and works great. It is being used on a rather old computer and it still provides excellent surfing speeds. Also our WiFi router is upstairs and the computer is downstairs and it still picks up a strong signal.

Very easy to set up, small so unobtrusive, and has both 2.5 and 5 ghz bands so allows for a faster connection. Recommended if your Ethernet on your motherboard dies for any reason and you don’t have built in WiFi.

There are so many cheap options out there for these network adapters and I'm glad I went with the known brand. Didn't even have to do anything for setup. It took care of everything as soon as I plugged it in. Sign into your wi-fi and you're getting the benefits of the 5G bandwidth. Great and simple upgrade for computers that don't have access to all the different bands.

Excellent device and very easy to install. It has been reliable from the first, and its size makes it easy to position the CPU on my desk.

Easy to install and is fast enough for my network.
