My internal wifi card recently decided to go kaput and, after several technical calls and wasted efforts with HP, they finally determined it was my wifi card and suggested I purchase wireless adapter. Never having needed one of these before, I ventured to my nearest Best Buy store to have a chat with one of their tech gurus. I explained to him my wireless needs and he suggested one of two products. They were out of the less expensive adapter but had this one in stock and it was only about $10 more than the other suggestion (that seems to be a typical practice for Best Buy). At any rate, it was an easy install and works perfectly. I was up and running again in no time and although it requires a USB port, the adapter is small and easy to travel with.

I bought this item due to great experience with brand in the past. Item was at a reasonable price and it was so easy to install. No issues with signal at all. Connects fast!

I purchased this for my parents as an alternative to running Ethernet cables everywhere in their new place. They're not particularly tevh-savvy and they have an older desktop PC that lacks a wireless network adapter. This USB adapter was perfect and I had them up and running in just a few minutes. I did have to install drivers from the disk that's included, as the PC was not connected to the internet to begin with.

Received a Free Sample from Linskys in exchange for my honest feedback: I tried this out when I returned from vacation,where I live speeds are not as good, however, after using this, my speeds increased quite a bit. Absoulutely enjoyed the convenience of it - and the speed enhanced by it was awesome :)

I bought this because my laptop was unable to hold its connection to any wifi router for more than a few seconds. Now, I use this as the internet point of access. It is reliable and keeps me connected to internet. The only con is that you have to keep it plugged into your computer at all times (when using) so that you have consistent internet. I would also say that this is not a reach extender. So, this doesn't improve my ability to access wifi out of my range, it just holds the connection steadily.

I like the size, the reliability and the speed of this product. It loaded software immediately upon connected to laptop and the rest is history.

I recently had fiber installed but wasn't getting the speed I was expecting. A friend suggested that my computer's network card might not be able to handle it so I started looking for options. I found this on Best Buy's website and picked one up. After a minor problem with the install (my computer, not the adapter) which Linksys tech support walked me through, my internet speed had gone from 40mbps to over 120mbps. Not expensive and worth every nickel.

Super easy to install, really affordable way to add a network wifi connection to a pc without a internal adapter. Just plug into a usb port and a few steps and you are set. Set this up in a spare room on my second floor, pretty far from my router. Still gets a decent enough signal. I'm sure if it was closer it would get a stronger signal. Very pleased with my purchase. One word of warning, ask for the online price if you buy in a store like I did. You will save $10.

Reliable and works best with links Brand gear. Plug n play from the box, I get over 200 MB on air.

Works great, easy to install, has device driver on CD in case you do not have access to one. I have an old laptop with Windows 7 and built in WiFi but when I upgraded my internet service to 20 Mb, it would NOT receive data faster than 10 Mb. So I disabled the internal WiFi and installed this USB WiFi. Now I do get speeds of 20 Mb. One note: be sure to read the specifications that this device is NOT supported by Windows XP or any previous versions. It does work with W 7 and beyond.

This adapter works perfectly. The Geek Squad member that helped me was awesome. He diagnosed my problem and recommended what product to use. He even installed the software so that all I had to do was plug it in.

I was really surprised how well this thing worked. I live in a large, 2 story home and I am using this upstairs on the complete opposite side of the router (and behind a desk) and it is super smooth with no drops and it’s also fast. I was skeptical because I was using it for gaming and I can’t say enough about how well this device performs. I highly recommend it.

Not the highest quality, but a very decent option, particularly when on sale. This has a very easy to setup, with essentially a plug-in and forget process. The connectivity and network speeds have generally kept up well, but in some uncommon cases (~once a month) may lag behind in connecting after PC boot-up (which can be resolved easily by unplugging and re-plugging back in).

One minute my old computer was not wireless capable, the next minute it was. All I had to do was place this adapter into a USB port and I could connect to the internet via a wireless connection. Fantastic.

I love the tiny size so it can tuck out of the way in any of my USB ports. Works great with my Google OnHub and doesn't need to be re enabled when my computer wakes up like an older one I used at first.

Small, simple device arrived quickly, is easy to install, and works great.

My laptop only has a 2.4GHz radio and I have 150 MB coming into my condo so I purchased this to go to 5 GHz and the increase in speed. It worked perfectly. Installation was also a breeze.
