I have an HP Envy that I purchased in 2013. I love it but the Wifi adapter was not great from day 1. It sometimes worked ok but often it would lose the connection or not see my router even when right next to it. It seemed to be getting worse and I decided to try this LinkSys usb wifI adapter. The improvement is dramatic. Besides having a reliable connection on either 2.4 or 5 ghz, the laptop started running more reliably once I disabled the internal adapter. The laptop restarts from sleep so much faster. I run Windows 10 and the driver for this adapter was not found on my drive. I don’t have a CD drive so I kept my old wifi adapter active when I plugged in the LinkSys just in case I needed internet access to find the driver. That’s exactly what happened, I selected search for driver and Windows searched online and immediately found the driver and installed it. Windows will work with both the old and new adapters installer; when clicking the wifi icon you’ll see an option to select WiFi 1 and Wifi 2. I knew the LinkSys was Wifi 2 because when selected it found the 5G router options. Once I chose my router and entered password, I went into settings devices and disabled the internal Wifi adapter. Huge improvement all around. If your laptop Wifi is sketchy and you don’t want to open it up to replace the wifi card, this is your best bet. Note that this adapter only works with Windows but based on how fast my laptop boots and connects now, I’d say the adapter is optimized for Windows.

Worked perfectly. Plugged it in and within a few minutes was connected with wi-fi. Small foot print was a plus too.

This dongle is easy to install and provides high speed internet. My ethernet port was acting up, used this receiver and increased download speed by 50%

Plug it and and go, all the setup happens automatically. Perfect for getting a desktop computer onto a WiFi network.

i have two routers and i have switched to both of them. The routers that is closer to the PC works little better but at times the upstairs router is faster. I think it's my PC that is really slow. i will have to try it at an other computer to see what happens. With centurylink, i get around 12mbps (century link is 20mbps only). With Comcast, I have upto 45mbps (upsstairs, i get 65mbps on my phone).. I will continue to test it. However, one thing i can predict is that at some point the company who made this may not support at or provide new firmwares.

The built-in wireless adapter in my notebook computer would not connect to the wireless network in the hotel where I was staying for a week on a business trip. I needed a wireless so I could connect to my company network, so I decided to try an external adapter. Checked Best Buy online, found this Linksys adapter, read the reviews and confirmed it was available in the local store. The installation was very easy and I got a wireless connection right away. The Linksys adapter did exactly what it was supposed to do. My wireless connection was solid through my entire stay at the hotel.

I'm very happy with the product; it's easy to install and works great on my Windows 10 machine. I highly recommend the Linksys Wireless-AC600 USB network adapter.

Like the title says this me with a fast and reliable connection when I was unable to have a wired connection to my PC.

I bought this for a dell pc that I bought to turn into a gaming pc. It was easy to install and started working immediately. I haven't had any issues to this point.

We purchased this to add Wi-Fi to a very old Dell 4600 PC. It installed and worked fine. Just as advertised and inexpensive also. We were pleased.

only have had it for today but it was easy to install and the data transfer speed has been great and responsive.

What more can you ask for? I plugged it in. My HP didn't load the driver but a quick Windows update did the trick. Instantly I have access to networks my HP adapter didn't see. I couldn't be happier. I had trouble connecting and staying connected to a hotel network. No longer. Well worth the $39.99 price.

I needed an easy to install network adapter and the Linksys AC600 really fit the bill. Installation was a snap and it really works great.

It provides strong signal and fast connection. For the size of it you won't think that it is capable of that. So far no problems at all

My old desktop internet speed is improved after using this device. Installation was very easy.

Device is easy to use,setup is easy,works great,just keep in mind every wall it has to send a signal through, cuts down on how far the signal will broadcast.
