Super easy setup. Wasn't able to get reliable speed in my basement before adding this.

This Range extender will actually extend you signal with the same Network name, not just pick up a signal and rebroadcast it with a different name, so connectivity is constant to the same network, just as strong as it is to begin with. (Seamless Roaming) If you gave Network 1 for example, lesser routers will rebroadcast that as Network 1A or other designated name. This Linksys -RE 9000 carries your signal thru a 5 GHz backhaul signal (or speeds up to 3X faster than Dual-Band range extenders) between itself and your router and will provide a 5Ghz and a 2.4 Ghz band out to your devices to your devices. It has true MU-MIMO capabilities and will work with any WiFi router, but keep in mind the better the router you have to begin with the better your signal will be to the extender and your network devices. It can be easily set up with the Lynksys app on your smartphone and that app has a spot finder app to assist in optimal placement for the best signal and coverage extension. I am using mine with LINKSYS EA9500 MAX-STREAM AC5400 MU-MIMO GIGABIT WI-FI ROUTER which was awesome to begin with but now I have no dead zones at all in my brick rancher over a basement. The 4 Ethernet ports in it also give you an additional place to hook up wired devices and can be configured as an additional access point . Simply connect the AC 3000 range extender using a Gigabit Ethernet cable to your router or cable gateway to upgrade your Wi-Fi connectivity to used as a Wired Extender and Wired Access point (WAP) Setup is very simple.
