Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Velop AC2200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 5 System's ease of use, coverage, and setup, frequently citing its simple installation and strong signal. Many also praise the system's range and performance, reporting consistently reliable connectivity. However, some users experienced connection issues and noted the relatively high price. A limited number of Ethernet ports was also a recurring point of feedback.

Tired of losing wifi throughout the home and tired of having to choose what could use the wifi, we opted for this system and it works GREAT! It was more than we wanted to spend, but we love how it has allowed for all of the devices in the home to use wifi with no delays!

I bought this and also added 2 extra nodes, it seems to support three really well, the extra two are kinda iffy. I have a really large house, I think 3 will work really well for most people. Even with the iffy nodes the coverage is still fantastic.

I paired this with an Arris SB8200 Surfboard modem and was surprisingly easy to set up. An added bonus is that you can periodically optimize the system.

Got this to replace an Apple AirPort Extreme and AirPort Express that was having issues after many years of use. So far so good. Nice strong signal throughout the house and no dropped connections. Expensive but I love it so far.

Good product and relatively easy to install. Great help from the Wisconsin Avenue Best Buy team. Only thing missing was to coordinate with Comcast -- the modem needed to bypass wifi to hook up to linksys system. That was not well explained and once it was, voila.

I wanted to upgrade my router set up to make sure I had no dead spots around my house with all the smart devices I have installed and will be installing. I was lucky and got them for $100 off regular price.

I actually bought one of these when they were on Kickstarter and couldn't wait to get my hands on a second one. So glad Best Buy sells them in store. The package included clips for all 4 styles of Roku, it didn't cover the buttons used for my Roku TV, and was super easy to program.

Our house doesn't have wired cabling for internet, so this solution has been key for getting a signal upstairs to our offices, on the other side of our two story house. In one of the upstairs offices I have a work phone (voip) and my desktop computer plugged directly into the access point, and I've had excellent stable results and excellent performance despite being a fair distance from the velop closest to where internet enters the house. I did have to disable automatic firmware updates, the devices were applying updates in the middle of the day and I was losing internet suddenly when trying to work. Just need to remember to apply the updates every few weeks/once a month. This isn't a cheap solution, but it's a solid performer that can often be found on sale. You get what you pay for.

Really improved the quality of my internet reach across three floors, including basement. Easy to check to see if there are any blackout areas or if the mesh network is down anywhere. Highly recommend to those with multiple levels.

These are really great mesh routers...if they are on sale. They act as advertised and are very easy to setup. The app gives you a lot of control and even lets you set them up as motion sensors

Works fine - doesn't do what the salesman said it did. You need to create a new network as opposed to it working with your existing network. Range is decent, better than xfinity basic system already installed. One of the nodes will be needed to sit adjacent to your existing router or at least close enough to connect a cable. I had been looking for more of a repeater type device which would amplify the existing wifi and was told by the salesman that that is exactly what these do. Unfortunately, that's not the case. I would only recommend these if you need a large area covered, and then I would recommend that you buy more than the two-pack.

Happy with the Wi-Fi mesh; seamless transition with good range. Happy each station has 2 wired ports for items like bridge, Hue, etc. Really like the device priority option to direct bandwidth to the devices most important to me.

The Velop completely changed my home internet network. While I had been paying for 300mbps for a couple of years, until Velop I couldn't get it consistently via wifi. Yes the system is expensive, but if you're looking for a simple way to get the most out of your home wifi, this is it.

This is my first mesh network setup and it has been great so far. My speeds have been fast and expected and I've only had one time that I've needed to re-pair one of the units to the main unit. Overall I would recommend.

Set-up was fairly smooth with only one transient glitch. Fixed by repeating one step. Wi-Fi coverage now extends throughout my home with great consistency. No dropped connections. No switching from one network to another. Pricey system but otherwise great.

The setup was easy and the performance has been very good. Installed the 3 pack in a large home. Originally tried an extender, but it didn't work well. The Velop provides seamless WiFi throughout the home. Additional units can be added to extend even further. Very nice product.
