Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Velop AC2200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 5 System's ease of use, coverage, and setup, frequently citing its simple installation and strong signal. Many also praise the system's range and performance, reporting consistently reliable connectivity. However, some users experienced connection issues and noted the relatively high price. A limited number of Ethernet ports was also a recurring point of feedback.

Purchased several months ago to get greater coverage on my lanai, tested speeds are impressive, signal dropped a few times, but overall pleased with purchase. Purchased on sale and could not beat the price.

Works fine - doesn't do what the salesman said it did. You need to create a new network as opposed to it working with your existing network. Range is decent, better than xfinity basic system already installed. One of the nodes will be needed to sit adjacent to your existing router or at least close enough to connect a cable. I had been looking for more of a repeater type device which would amplify the existing wifi and was told by the salesman that that is exactly what these do. Unfortunately, that's not the case. I would only recommend these if you need a large area covered, and then I would recommend that you buy more than the two-pack.

This is my first mesh network setup and it has been great so far. My speeds have been fast and expected and I've only had one time that I've needed to re-pair one of the units to the main unit. Overall I would recommend.

This was very easy to set up. The only issue I had was having a second WiFi in the house was a little confusing. We were told later if we use the same name and password as our old WiFi it would work seamlessly and it does.

After the initial setup, it works great. Easy setup at first, but then internet went down, it had to be redone and that part was the hassle, 3 calls to customer service until the issue was resolved. Overall I’m happy with the product.

Went with the 3 pack, but could have seriously went with the 2 pack. I have 2 in the house at opposite ends and 1 in my detached garage. Mailbox is about 100 yards away and I still pick up enough signal from there that I can browse the internet. I highly recommend this product!

Excellent! I had the smaller version prior to upgrading to the 2200 after completing my basement. I now have balanced coverage on all three levels. I have owned this brand for over 4 years...no problems!

These routers are absolutely amazing! Super easy to set up, very sleek looking in case it’s out in the open, and small enough to tuck behind the TV. We have two of these right now throughout the house and it’s works wonders!

Easier to set up than I thought it would be, it has been dependable. While other wi fi networks here glitch and drop connections this one charges on. It even looks like it detected an issue and corrected it.

I have my ATT modem centrally placed in closet in main hall, but signal strength dropped a lot in front room 20 ft away. Velo helped extend better signal to front of house. Pricey but it works better than just tacking on a regular wifi router.

NEEDED this during the pandemic when our family of five was working /schooling from home. Totally boosted the WiFi to all corners of the house where the WiFi was spotty. Easy to set up, even for a non-techy like me

System solved for the connectivity issues inside the house. I just wish it would be easier to cycle a node, if / when it drops connection(which is rare). App is good and easy to use.

This product and the excellent installation from the Geek Squad has doubled our internet speed. Enjoying 4k TV and not watching circles spin or worried my internet goes during a Zoom call. Works well.

Had used a standard Linksys router for WiFi before converting to he mesh system. Wireless speeds have dramatically improved and the product was very easy to set up. A little on the pricey side, but the value is worth the investment.

Works great, definitely recommend getting these! The only problem is it interviews with my surround sound system for my tv! I think its because one diod is next to my sub/rear speaker signal!

We struggled for years usin the Apple airport utilities routers, NEVER worked consistently or very fast. This plug and play system is 100% faster and more reliable. No longer do I lose my tv steam when the wife and kids start using their devices. Works awesome.

It works no problems. Occasionally you disconnect and reconnect as you walk through places. I think this is fine though as it's pretty standard with mesh networks. This might be a little overpriced but it works!
