Prior to using my wifi was clocked out at 30 to 40 meg as I have a fiber cable and speed at the line of 1gig I needed something that could handle it. Now I get anywhere between 220 to 660 on wireless throughout the home and can stream 30 devices with no lag or buffering. This was a great buy.

The links's velop is a definite upgrade over our previous wifi setup. Stronger and more reliable connectivity everywhere in the house. They do have a dedicated app, but it can be slow and problematic, and some of the parental controls are a bit too basic to provide a lot of value.

Works well and easy to setup. A nice investment for a large home.

I no longer have any buffering our dead spots in my house. love it!

Works for large home with multiple floors and large sq ft

Simple setup.... BUT!! There is a necessary firmware update needed prior to attempting to link the nodes. I was frustrated moving nodes around and the app reporting no link. Finally called support (excellent by the way) and was led through the process. She stayed on the line for 40 minutes until we were sure everything worked fine.

I live in a 2 - story house and we always struggled with poor WiFi connection in certain spaces. With the Linksys Mesh setup, we have one device per floor and have had no issues with always having a strong WiFi connection regardless of location. The setup process was very easy to use.

Covers the entire house, saved my marriage. Daughter very happy also!

3rd day with this setup and works awesome. I have a 2200sqft home with over 45 WiFi devices. Only using 2 out of the 3 and everything is working flawlessly. My hue sync box normally slows my internet down. Not with these mesh WiFi devices. Glad I got them while on sale.

has the necessary coverage, but sometimes one of the nodes would lose signal or stop working. I tried diagnosing with the app, but doesn't help. I don't think they communicate well with the app. It could be a software issue.

I was excited to get the Velop as it rated well for mesh networking. I was looking forward to not having the bandwidth decimated by connecting to our wi-fi network through an extender. Unfortunately, the Velop has not been the answer to our dream network. We often lose the signal completely, which wrecks havoc on the ability to stream on demand. Sometimes the wi-fi is so slow (and it isn't our ISP, we've checked with 3 different speed tests) that I actually disconnect my tablet and phone from the wi-fi and use my mobile data plan...and, that is when nothing else is running on my wi-fi network. We have a lot of electronic devices in our house. It's entirely possible that there is interference that causes the connection problems. So far, we haven't been able to figure out what the issue is - and my husband has been an IT network guy for over 20 years. I cannot imagine how someone without a computer/networking background would deal with this product.
