Great product...just really sensitive to lightning in the area. 2 of them have fried over the past 3 months due to bad weather. Modem and everything else connected to line are still functional.

Purchased this WiFi system on sale during holiday specials. Wound up returning it due to the fact that I was able to purchase a different system at a better price. Still a great system to own!

I had few places in my home where i had poor internet, Linksys helped remove those dead zones. Giving 4 stars as I still had to hookup one mesh to ethernet to extend my wireless network.

It's working great. We wanted to be able to use our phones and camera system over the internet, since our phones don' t have very good service. This device helps boost the signal to the front of our house.

The Velop whole home wifi system has given my entire home full bars wifi throughout my home and my backyard (good for streaming music while grilling and swimming). Wifi speeds are just as fast as being hardwired into the router! Definitely worth every penny!

This is the most expensive consumer WiFi mesh system you can purchase but you truly do get what you pay for. This system simply works. We have a large two-story home with an apartment over the garage, and the system works flawlessly.

Best mesh router system out there. I know it’s only wifi5 but it’s the best. I’ve tried Eero, Nest, and TP Link, this is hands down the one you should buy. My house is 3500 sqft and i have 400 mbs all over.

Purchase but never used and returned. I bought Ring products and was concerned about my internet speed in the house. I then ran Speedtest and was in good shape so I returned.

We have a family of 6 and are a very heavy user of WiFi. We have 4 PS4’s going along with Apple TV and multiple iPhones and ring and Arlo cameras all going at once and we have no lag or dead spots in our house with 5 nodes of coverage.

This was not too difficult to hookup. I did have to look at a few video's to understand how far apart the nodes have to be in the start up process. Great price and sleek look. I would buy them again if needed.

A must have for home and office Wi-Fi. This system works great, allowed me to receive Wi-Fi signal no matter where I was in the office and when I tested it at home. I would recommend having a smart phone before purchasing this product because it's easier to set up.

The router and mesh network works great. I now have coverage through my house. However the setup horrible. It took several calls to tech support and almost two hours for tech support to set the system up.

I recently moved to a bigger two story home and had issues with internet up stairs dropping. My house has 3 PS4s, 4 smart phones, 3 smart TVs and 3 laptops. Since I purchased the Velop system nothing has dropped and online gaming hasn’t suffered on any device.

We bought this because we cut the cord on our ATT UVERSE and we went to using a streaming service. We were having a lag in our living area so we bought these. We haven't have a problem with our wifi signal ever since!

Honestly, Wi-Fi technology is far from perfect. The internet provider is the major source of issues. The base furthest from the internet Wi-Fi drops the signal every so often and has to be reset.

      Hi, TNgirl,

You can isolate the challenge by connecting directly to the modem and if the connection is stable, we’ll need to check what caused the connection to drop from the nodes. For now, make sure that the nodes are running on the latest firmware and utilize the channel finder. If that won’t help, get in touch with us at [email protected] so our Escalation Engineers can lend you a hand. Don’t forget to include your contact information and a link to this post as our reference.

These are easy to setup using the app and work great but, required more than I thought for a two story house around 2600 SQ FT without having speed drops. I had to buy an extra one and of course buying it separately costs more.

This is a great mesh wifi system to blanket your house with steady and strong internet connection. I was lucky to pick these up on sale and I'm glad I did. Mesh V.6 is not needed for the size of my house.

I have been playing with this gadget for almost a week as I wanted to give it a decent amount of trial time before giving my reviews. I must say that I am a bit disappointed with Velop considering it's high price as compared to its competitors. I love its pleasant look. The functionality is very limited. It's a Dual band wi-fi system which includes 5GHzs & 2.4GHz. Apart from that, Velop has a dedicated 5 Ghz backhaul channel which helps in linking the units (or nodes) together. The primary router unit utilizes one band to send the signals to a satellite unit, and the satellite uses one of its 5GHz band only to receive that signal. Then it uses the other two bands to rebroadcast the signal to clients. If you have a small home (up to 2000 sq. ft), 1 unit will suffice. You can connect it to the ethernet wire and it will work just like a regular router but if your home is big, you can put more units to automatically extend your internet range. It will be highly useful if you have a multi story house. Velop is capable of delivering upto 400 Mbps of high internet speed. The good think about Velop is that there is no drop in internet speed. I have a 75 Mbps internet and usually get around 70-72 Mbps. After the speed tests, it was proved that we do not lose any speed. Sometime I even get more than 75 Mbps, not sure if it's because of the unit or from network itself. Setup was super easy. Took me about 10 minutes per node. However, it does not come with any instructional manual, just a card that asks you to install the linksys app, which I did and it walked me through the whole process. You will need to create an account with linksys to set up the system. The app will show all the devices that are connected to the network and you can then control them the way you want. For ex. if you want to block any phone user from opening facebook on their phone's web browser, you can simply go on to the list and then select that particular user and block that website. The person won't be able to open facebook.com anymore but he can still use the facebook mobile app. I hope they take care of this issue in their future updates. Other than that, Velop works great and does the job it says it will. The only drawback is its high price. So if you are in a tight budget, you may want to look for something else or you can get a single pack or 2 pack system of Velop.

It really works. Increased my connection speed in the one area that was furthest from my wi-fi router and near impossible to stream on a smart tv in. Set these up and problem solved. Able to stream on the tv, run a ps4.
