Great way to improve Wi-Fi coverage

I bought this system to improve wifi coverage in my home and expand it to cover our pool area outside. It did the job and more. We have better connection, faster speeds on devices. Love it so much. Set up was not working on my own but I called the Linksys customer service and they walked me thru it step by step, with a few tricks along the way. Patience in this area pays off. The call center tech was AMAZING and knew her stuff. No one reading from a computer TO DO list with this company. They know their equipment. Highly recommend!!

I had a Linksys AC1900 router that was great but I had weak signals in parts of the house. The house is 3900 sq ft on two levels with appliances and hvac returns blocking some areas. The speed varied by location from over 50 megabits down to 4. After setting up the mesh system, I have speeds as high as 112 and lows of over 60 megabits. Setup was easy using the Android app and took about 5 minutes per node. I had to adjust the placement of the two mesh nodes and reset them but all has worked well since then. I have had no streaming connection issues after this install.

Bought this on a whim after getting fed up with my dying existing router. Made my internet really fast and now I very rarely have connection issues with additional router in a different location of the house. Set up was fast and easy, however, I did run into a little hiccup with the last section of the setup. Had to call the Linksys troubleshoot line and the representative was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what was going on. He walked me through what to do, and in 20 minutes I had a spanking new wifi connection.

Needed to get Wifi access to several outbuildings on my one-acre property. Told it couldn't be done with a mesh system. Bought a competing product and the experts were right - it didn't work. Talked to someone a few days later who had a large property and had success with the Linksys Velop. Thought I would give it a try. Very easy to set up and get going. And you know what - it works like a charm. Getting consistently 110 up and 123 download at over 150 feet from my router.

Just absolute magic. Set up was a breeze and needed only time to figure itself out and an app. Range has improved drastically over the ac5400 I had previously -- my lan speed actually tests faster than before, too. the velop software has a great interface. Absolutely enamored with this.

Purchased this node for a detached garage that is 100' from my home. Perfect synch with my other 3 node system. Super easy to set this up and add the node. App makes it easy.

Needed to expand internet coverage in my house. Started with a wifi repeater, then added additional coverage with plug ins, but not only were they difficult to set up correctly but each had a different network. The three piece Velop replaced my router and all of those other pieces, was extremely easy to set up (literally 15 minutes), and is working like a charm. I feel stupid for not discovering this product sooner. Some of the reviews say it is expensive, but if you consider it replaces the router and everything else, and then consider its performance relative to those other setups - it is well worth the cost. I have never been so satisfied with a purchase.

Great range, speed, and I can shut one down and all my devices connect to a different router seamlessly. 25+ devices on my network and its solid. Very easy to setup.

WIFI access is a challenge in adobe houses. The Velop system works well and is easy to setup. One big advantage over repeaters is that you do not have to worry about logging into any repeater. The Velop system extends your WIFI network without creating access points you have to log in.

I purchased this set of routers for a friend who has a severe wifi problem at home, due to non- drywall construction at home which makes very challenging the coverage in the rooms divided with walls. We distributed the main routers and 2 other nodes according the the layout. It has so much power that coverage begins from outside the residence. Definitely, "you get what you pay". This is worth every cent paid. Installation was easy with the app downloaded to the smartphone.

We were very frustrated with our internet; it was weak, often failed and it did not reach very far. We were going to change providers until we were guided to the Linksys system. We did need help from their customer service (who was wonderful) to set ours up because we had issues that prevented the standard set up; however, once set up was complete we have been extremely happy. Now we have service throughout our house and outside too, our internet is quicker and I think we have only had to reboot once. We are very happy with the Linksys system.

I've had this system for almost a month, for our 3 storey 2700sq ft home and here are my thoughts: Serup: My setup has one node on each floor with the master on the middle floor. I understand this is the best placement for my home. Setup was very easy for me as compared to what I've read from other reviewers. It actually took me less than 30 mins to setup all 3 nodes. I kept the same wifi SSID and password as my old network and all my devices connected automatically. The app was easy to use and very intuitive. Coverage: This system provides very good coverage. All my devices have better wifi signal on all the floors with my setup, and coverage extends to the backyard and beyond. Performance: This is where I've had issues with this system. I've had problems with laggy and slow connections especially the last few days. This is happening particularly in the rooms where there are nodes. I would expect that these rooms should have the best of performance, but that's not been the case. I know this is not an issue with my internet. Over the weekend, the Linksys app said the node on my lowest floor was down even though it was powered on and the light indicator was solid blue. I had to power cycle it to have it reconnect to the master node. I will be contacting support for troubleshooting but really thinking of sending it back for a different system.

I'm a tech of 20 years, and Velop is one of the best products I've seen yet. I've got several (10+) customers using a Velop system now, and I can honestly say I've yet to work on one of them. That says a lot. The app is easily configurable and adding nodes couldn't be easier.

A good mesh system, but have a problem getting it to stay connected. At lease once per week, all nodes go red for no reason and takes about 10 minutes to reboot. Not a huge issue unless you work from home, like me. Otherwise, it is easy to setup and gives a good signal in my larger home.

I looked at a bunch of different mesh systems when I was in the market because my wife hates the multi antenna single routers, which all of the fast ones have six or more of. I am a pretty loyal Linksys customer as I have had their routers since 802.11a was the fastest that you could get. I considered the eero solution but I didn't want a three pack and I wasn't about the get the one with the little booster. I wanted all of the nodes to be Tri-band, so that knocked out a quite a few of them. In the end I am very happy with my purchase, and didn't realize how much my old router was slowing down my internet connection. my four year old router was speed testing my 100MB internet connection at around 96MB which I thought was good and in the margin of error. When I swapped to this system, which only took about 10 minutes, the speed test for this one was at 115M. I am impressed and look forward to seeing how it works in the long haul.

I have had these for a couple years now and i love them a lot and they work great. Pros: -Awesome/Easy App Settings/Features -Excellent Internet Speed -Good Tech Support (Solved all issues using online chat) I really like how easy the app is to adjust settings and check the status of my internet and features. Once i learned the setup process, it was easy to move houses and resetup or help out my friend with his. Very fast and internet works great. Also i highly recommend contacting support if you have any questions or are having problems. Cons: -1-2hrs setup -App Setup can't deal with a Spectrum Modem -Plan 1-2hrs with customer support setup walkthrough These can be a little time consuming and a little frustrating at first to setup. but once i got the process down it was great. Still time consuming. The app walks you through the setup and to setup 3 nodes i'd say it takes a couple hours. If you contact customer support, It can take a while to wait in line and when you get someone, it can take a while to walk through all the steps. I would just plan a full afternoon and once you're done, you will know how to fix your problem on your own next time if you ever have to resetup your network.

So I returned google's and got this one, 2 is good enough for up to 4000 sqt, very stable, and looks good also. Love the parental control and prioritization feature, the phone app is a little glitchy but it's getting better after each update, Belkin made this thing right!
