I have a larger home (6,000sf+) and the linksys system fit what I needed it to do. Set up was quick, all on iphone and was up and running in no time. Highly recommend the system.

    OOKLA Speedtest can't keep up!

Off course it all depends on your Internet Provider but if your willing to chisel out $500 on a wi-fi router chances are you have pretty high internet connection speed from your Provider as well. In my case I have Comcast Blast! Service when I did SpeedTest downloads went as high as 180 Mbps wirelessly on my phone. Uploads didn’t brake 15Mbps but if you look at OOKLA’s speed dial... it only goes upto 50 so seeing the little hand go all the way to the right and stay there is amazing. There’s no Instructions that came in the box. Set up is done via your app on the phone. But if you do have to call for support (which I did) they are pretty knowledgeable to my surprise as I thought ones Linksys was sold by Cisco that Belkin would defiantly kill it off as a product. 3 things that kinda sucks are: 1st it came with a flat Linksys network cable only to find out from cust serv. that it was a Cat5 and not Cat6 (bummer and they need to fix it) 2nd the other item is that the Modules only have 2 network connections. Thus if you have any other wired devices that you need to connect to your network hopefully your older router can be turned into a switch (most can do that if you have older Linksys one the rep walked me through it took like 5 min). And 3rd is the light for whats going on with the Modules is all the way on the top. If your devices are like mine and sit on top of something high like a shelf or something u cant really tell what is the status of it. Would be nicer if they had their logo light up instead. Also a word of advice INSTALL all 3 of them in the same room ones you establish a good connection you can move them to desired location. And Also the cool thing is you can add 4th and 5th Module device if you want I’m thinking of adding one later after I test all my wireless cameras outside. To make sure I get enough of a coverage.

I own a rancher so my house is very spread out and flat. Which means compared to a typical multi story home, I need to deal with horizontal dead spots. This was a great solution to that issue! Our router is originally located in our living room but the office is at the other end of the house. so being able to get full speeds from living room to our office has been great! It is even great for connecting to all our hues and security cameras!

I was very skeptical upon first glance, but wow, this thing is absolutely amazing! With the 3 nodes, it covers my entire home including office in a separate bui. Very impressed and happy customer.

I bought this product to get rid of dead zones around and in my home. This product did just that and it saved a ton of room from my previous set up. The routers are sleek and compact. For the setup its easy just need to download the app and follow the steps the app isn't just for setup it also lets you customize setting prioritize devices and check speeds. Highly recommended product

I have owned many WiFi routers from 1st gen 54 Mbps to AC 2600 (Netgear/Asus/Linksys) but this Linksys Mesh Router by far has produced a consistent speed with no dropped signal for over 30 days!

This WiFi system is easily handling 10-15 devices. It was easy to set up, done in about 10 minutes. There is also an app so that you can see what devices are hooked up, and test signal strength.

Man, I always wanted a Mesh system, my older router was probably 10 years old. Whenever we used to use the microwave oven, it would kill the Wi-Fi to our laptops and the smart speakers. Not now, with the Linksys. Older router would not reach 100' to the street, this Linksys reached 500 FEET up the street!! Super easy to set up with the app on the phone. Love it.

I have grown tired of the other WiFi wireless routers and Expanders to keep my WiFi hungry household and work needs. After hooking up the Velop mesh network system, all of my signal strength drop-off issues disappeared. Signal strength is awesome. I had one little problem with a node dropping out of the system but Linksys Tech Support was quick to resolve as well as a follow-up call to make sure my system was working properly. Linksys App also is a great tool for set-up!

I use two of these in the house with the third in my garage that is 120 feet from the nearest one in the house and through a brick wall. They work great! The only problem I have had is that if you power one down, sometimes you have to power cycle the one connected to the internet by wire too. Otherwise, they are easy to setup and work quite well.

Had to contact Linkesys and purchase an additional larger base unit in order for the system to work for me because of the large coverage area. after working with Linksys tech these units are working with the base unit and I'm getting better coverage than originally planned

Working Way Better Than My Past routers

I bought the WiFi system because I have a couple of smart-home hubs and needed to integrate them all onto one network (rather than having to flip back and forth depending on whether my smart-home device was connected to the main network or my extended network on the old set-up). These have integrated fairly quickly. I still have a couple of range question-marks, but that was early on, and things seem to be functioning very well lately. I'd recommend this system and bought it based on great reviews and then an immediate show of support from the associate helping me at Best Buy. He seemed to think this was a great option!

Great Signal All Over the House

E installed this mesh system to eliminate dead spots in the far corners of the house, and that's exactly what we got. Our house is 3,800 square feet on three floors. The top floor had signal issues (that's where the kids live) and now they can stream Netflix with no buffering at all. The basement family room was also an issue due to the amount of steel in the house, now there is freat signal there. Easy to set up, works seamlessly.

I’ve been using a Apple Router and Extender for years, and it never had very good coverage. My house isn’t very large but there would be spotty areas everywhere. After switching to Velop I now have consistent speed and coverage throughout the house. Only issue I had was that you can’t pick which device to be on 5ghz and 2.4ghz on their app. But there is a roundabout way of doing it which you can lookup online.

The VELOP system was pretty simple to setup. The app is helpful. We had to reset the system to factory settings recently. That was a hassle, but customer support guided us through the process. The reason for the factory reset was the nodes kept losing connection and publicly displaying their names on the bottom of the nodes themselves instead of the names we assigned.

I shopped and researched all the alternatives and this system is really the best because it uses multiple ports to ensure coverage of the whole house. We have had for many many months and it has expanded our speed availability no matter where you are. Thankfully, it has created such vast coverage around the house that we have extended coverage into the garage and backyard patio. May need to reboot quarterly for updates. But it lets you know.

I have a less than 2000 square foot ranch style house. When I started this project, my cable modem was on one end of the house. I tried from Best Buy one Orbi ac3000 (which the box says would cover a house my size), 2 linksys velops, 2 orbi 3000, 3 linksys velops, and 3 Orbi 2200. It wasn't even close - the orbi 3000 was way faster than the others. The 2 Orbi units almost covered my little home, but I decided to move the modem to a central location and go with the 3 Orbi ac3000. It's like upgrading your computer after waiting a decade - I'd never go back to the slower system. I'm writing this from the furthest corner in my home and I'm getting 334 Mbps. It's been totally reliable and transparent - no downtime, no reboots - it just works. It took a little work getting it to play nice with my cable MoCa network so that I could do in home streaming of the Tivo that is included in the cable package. But once it was all set up I couldn't be more pleased, even considering the price tag. I never imagined I would spend this kind of money on a network product like this. Now, I consider it among the best technology purchases I've made. Unfortunately, Best Buy doesn't carry this particular 3 pack, so I purchased elsewhere. I took this linksys back - nothing wrong with it - but in my house with my setup the Orbi ac3000 worked better. I'd still give it at least 4 stars and would have no problem recommending to a friend. If I were forced into a true mesh situation where the satellites had to talk to each other, the velop would be the way to go.

This has been a major upgrade in Wifi at my home. Previous dead spots are not full strength. Using 3 pod system to cover 4 floors in an old colonial house with fireplace and plaster walls.
