Reading comparative reviews, the Velop and the Orbi seem to be pretty much neck and neck. I went with the Velop because it is a true mesh and the difference in speed would not impact me with my 120 mbps service. This thing was a breeze to setup and it works great! I go the two unit version for my 2800 sf house and I have full bars in every corner, nook, and cranny. Definitely recommend.

i doubled my wireless connection as soon as i set this velop router system up. it only took a few minutes to setup as well. linksys app on my phone made it easy.

We were having all kinds of wireless issues in our house. Since installing the Velop we have been getting excellent wireless signals and no dropped connections.

I purchased the Orbii before this Velop System and returned it because it kept cutting out. Whole home should mean just that and this certainly delivers! Highly recommend and it is easy to set up. I wish this was what I purchased originally bu I'm glad I found this

Within a week of purchasing this Velop system in added more nodes due to the programming ease and the consistent signal I have between my shop and home. The good: the flexibility and customization of the system allow for almost any situation to work even passing through walls and home levels. The bad: expansion is expensive.

This system is expensive, but worth every single penny. The changes in our home internet speeds are night and day. I would recommend this to anyone. GO FOR IT!

I had previously purchased an extender to use with my existing wifi router and found that, in practice, it was a pain to use. Because it did not extend the existing SSID of the network, my family and I were constantly having to join and unjoin networks depending on where we were in the house. This mesh network eliminates the need to do that, and gives much better coverage in our 3500 foot house. I have found the access points to be a bit finicky at times and they will disconnect from the network without reason. When I initially set these up, it wasn't as smooth and plug and play as promised. Luckily I work in IT so I was able to navigate it. Your mileage may vary. I also wish Linksys would offer a more robust browser-based interface with additional functionality (that I had become used to with my older router). Maybe in a future firmware update? For those reasons, I'm not giving this 5 stars. However, if you want/need a simple setup with an easy-to-use phone interface, this should deliver on all counts.

Thus far, the LinkSys seems to hold up on the promise. I’ve only had to renter my info (username and password) twice since I hooked the system up. Since the space is a bit large (2400 sf) I will probably add one to two more units to the system to make it “Fool-Proof!”

I’m not the most techy person. With that being said this router was simple to set up. Everything is done through the app. It all connected right away. The mesh network now covers my whole home no more dead spots even from my old extenders. This router is perfect for someone that need coverage over a large area and doesn’t need to tinker with the settings ever 2 second.

Needed to upgrade our old Linksys router and a mesh system was recommended by an employee. Before buying I was having trouble getting sonnection while doing yard work on certain sides of our house. We were also getting slower speeds than what we were paying for. Now we are seeing. Much faster speed with this new system. With two nodes I can now stay connected while out in the yard and even watching my kids ride their bikes up and down the street. I had been getting really bad lag whether connected wirelessly or hardwired to an Xbox One S and playing Battlefield. Ping was reading >400ms consistently. I would not have any issue if I connected to my modem. I spent a number of hours on the phone with Linksys support. They were very friendly and tried to understand the issue I was having. A number of times i thought the issue was resolved, but it would return in about 20 minutes of playing. I did more digging online and found that I could set custom speeds to the router. I decreased the up and download speeds about 10% and the issue hasn’t returned. The router system is very customizable, probably more than the majority of users would even need or understand. I ended up buying one of these systems for my parents. Both of us have been very happy with the system.

Was finally able to solve my coverage problem in my house with this system. Have a Node on each floor and strong signal throughout. Setup was fairly easy but takes some time to set up each node. Only hiccup I had was after running the check for a better channel a few days after setup. Had to start fresh again after. Since all is good again.

I was lucky enough to buy the 3 node system on sale for $349. It is drop dead easy to set up and the speed and quality are impeccable. The only negative is that there is no USB port for backups. Need to invest in a network HD but that is a small issue. The nodes themselves are small and blend in with any room decor

I recently went out of town and realized that the thing that I missed most about home was my wi-fi. That is thanks to this system. Before installing this in my home, I NEVER got the internet that I was paying for, even with the provider's equipment. Totally worthwhile purchase. The different nodes, which are expandable, even cover my 3,000 sq ft house without needing additional range extenders.

I bought this to replace my outdated Apple system that just stopped working one day. It was very easy to set up and fixed issues I was having with my Ring system and dead zones in my house. It works so well that my neighbor is now able to sue my WiFi as well. Now we split the bill and are both saving money. A+ in my book.

Really good wifi network (has been in place for just about a month, so still early in the process). The seamless mesh is fantastic since our property is large and it was a pain jumping from extender to extender. Still not quite the coverage I expected, but far fewer drop-outs in the main home. Absolutely simple setup, and the app is fantastic.

We purchased the Linksys Tri-band network and found that it has significantly improved the coverage for our home network cameras. Signal strength is very good and with the exception of possibly the exterior brick creating some level of shielding, it has done well. Our family has appreciated the improved Wi-Fi throughout the house.

Once set up properly, this system works great. The wifi is much more reliable and much faster. You can prioritize specific equipment over others, like my computer over the PS5 so I can get my work done without loosing bandwidth. Much greater range inside & outside of my home.

Reluctantly purchased and plugged all in and set up. 5 minutes each. House has full signal on both ends of my house and all good right now. I have noticed that my speed test is improved however, sometime I've noticed some sort of delay in downloading pictures and such on facebook, websites. But happy after the purchase

The Velop AC2200 replaced and very old Apple Airport modem with a Apple extender system. I have a fairly large house and the signal in some locations was weak. When trying to run video on my computer or on Smart TV's the signal wasn't good enough for a consistent picture. The Mesh system works great and I have no issues running multiple computers or TV's streaming video. The setup was very easy using the Linksys app on my phone. I do wish the app would give more information with regards to status and the amount of data each of the modules are using. The system has been rock solid. On a couple of occasions, after a power blip I have had the power cycle one of more of the modules to bring it back online. The diagnostics on the app can help narrow down an issue and the LED on the top of the module gives you a quick indication of the status. So far I am very satisfied with the Linksys system.
