Many also praise the system's range and performance, reporting consistently reliable connectivity. However, some users experienced connection issues and noted the relatively high price. After over an hour, my tech guy couldn't get the 2nd and 3rd nodes running. The next day setup was easy for me. 20 minutes tops. Built-in speedtest always seems exaggerated on DL because ST at any individual wifi-connected device is always much slower. Wish the app showed current thru-put on each device like on NG's latest routers. Also wish the app also drew a star map like the NG R9000 product. Bottom line is 1000% better than Comcast's built-in router and that was my goal.

It was a little tricky to set up the first node but the next two were a breeze. But it could have been from my secondary router interfering with them. I live in a small apartment so the three nodes are a little over kill and the nodes so close together can make some devices lag because they are trying to a stay connected to the initial node and not the closest node even though it gets full signal. Not a big issue speeds are still fast. I get 250 gbs/sec on my last node which is nice.

We had difficulty getting good WiFi through our house with and Apple router. I had concerns about how all of our TVs and Apple TV would connect. I have 3 smart TVs, 2 Apple TVs and a tin of phones when hugh school kids are over and it all has worked great. We now have basically full speed that Comcast provides thoroughout our entire house. Took less than 20 minutes to set up. I could have gotten by with only 2 pods, so now I have one sending signal out to my entire back yard.

Pretty good whole home system really enjoy the coverage never lagged/buffered when watching movies playing video games. Like every router in this world it goes down very few times but after rebooting it starts to work again. Would prefer the eero a but it doesn’t fit in the budget. I would recommend this product to everyone.

These are great. Especially with HomeKit. It is better then the eero I think because it has a dedicated backhaul to handle more traffic. We have 17-35 connected devices and no lag. Easy set up and works well. Realize if you have a big house you will need more. Anything over 1500-2200 I’d recommend more nodes. Good to know Best Buy price matches so do a bit of research and get a better price.

This is great choice for people Who are looking one SSID and if needed one Guest SSID (optional). I have a house front yard and backyard covered entirely from this mesh and includes very good speed. For people who buy this, no 6Ghz comes with it. 2.4 and 5 is available and the beams switches the network automatically without interruption and visible.

Quite possibly the best purchase I made in 2020. I had some issues after I first set the system up but early realized the issues were with my ISP. I got everything ironed out by Spectrum and re-setup my system. It works flawlessly and I have had great speeds on both wired and WiFi. I have talked a few friends into this system and they have all had fantastic results. Thumbs up to Linksys for a great product.

We were looking for a system to provide WiFi coverage in a 1960's-built home that would require minimal maintenance and work through unavoidable events such as power loss and neighbors setting up new networks. This system was very easy to set up, and gave great coverage. It has been half a year since the system was installed, and the system has proven to be resilient to various surprises and events. The home is not tech focused, and these units fit in nicely.

This is the second WiFi extender we have tried. We really neede to make sure our kids would have a good signal since they are attending school virtually right now. We live in a 2-story house which makes it difficult to get a good signal throughout the house! We are very happy with the signal we are receiving. The kids have not had any issues and that’s because we have them separated throughout the house.

      Hi, MNCM,

The actual coverage of each node varies depending on your network environment. But, one thing that could help to improve the coverage generally is the proper placement. Make sure to keep it away from physical obstructions and wireless interference that could potentially block or absorb the signal. You may try placing it somewhere high instead.
