Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Velop AC2200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 5 System's ease of use, coverage, and setup, frequently citing its simple installation and strong signal. Many also praise the system's range and performance, reporting consistently reliable connectivity. However, some users experienced connection issues and noted the relatively high price. A limited number of Ethernet ports was also a recurring point of feedback.

I’ve purchased may different WiFi extenders and this one by far is hands down the best. I have a 4000 sq ft house and the internet connection is in a bookcase in a corner of my house. It’s been impossible to get WiFi in our bedroom. This has given the best coverage all over the house but out by the pool as well. I recommend this to anyone with similar issues.

I have a two story home and I needed an extender for people to access the wi-fi on the first floor. That wi-fi required one to select the type wi-fi every time you signed onto it. The velop offers the 2.4 and 5 but your product signs onto what it needs automatically. I was expecting, wrongly, that the Velop nodes would give me the same coverage all over the house. But it turns out that everything loses going downstream. My biggest issue is connecting my new generator to the system. Despite this being fir 6000 sq ft and my house is around 3500 sq ft. This does have issues getting through the masonry walls with every third block filled solid with concrete and then the metal lathing and stucco finish. I had purchased a plug in Velop node and returned it after placing it only three feet away from the generator, just on the opposite side of the wall. The generator still said that the signal was too weak. Otherwise, inside seems to be decent. I will know for sure when the serious gamers come to visit just how good or bad the mesh system is working. But for multiple streaming devices and computers, it is working fine.

Words cannot express the difference this system made for my home network over my previous Linksys EA3500 wireless router. I had previously tried to replace my old router with one of the new 8 antenna, super-duper awesome routers that promise faster speeds and further distances, only to find that while the speeds did seem to be faster, the coverage in my home was not as good. The local Best Buy Rep suggested these and since I was already trying a router that was nearly $400, the cost was not that much more for the VELOP system. Setting up the VELOP system was easy and I have a large portion of my home that is hard wired. This did require the use of a small 8-port switch since my existing router had 4 network ports included and the VELOP system only has one. No big deal and I already had a switch. They are inexpensive if you do not. Once setup, the coverage area is very impressive. I was looking to cover my front deck and my rear deck, two areas that had previously had no coverage, and some of the furthest areas in my home had spotty signal. I do have a 1,400 SQ FT basement and a 3,600 SQ FT upstairs area, all on one level. The new VELOP system covers my entire home, my entire front yard, my entire back yard and most likely both of my neighbors houses on either side of me. I might have been able to get away with the two module Linksys VELOP system but I could not be happier with the one I purchased. Speeds are full anywhere in the coverage area. I test using Speed Test on my iPhones as well as my laptops. Well worth the investment as many families move to more and more wireless devices in their home and streaming content.

very easy to setup right out of the box. The app needed to use this system guides you every step of the way to get connected. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is due to the price. But the functionality and reliability makes up for it. If you are on the market for a Mesh system, pay the extra money and buy a tri-band like this one.

I had previously bought a WiFi extender. Returned it when this Linksys Mesh Wi-Fi System went on sale during Black Friday sale event. This system extends the Wi-Fi throughout the house, over 3000 square feet. The signal is never dropped and it works like a charm. Highly recommend and I would purchase again, especially at the sale price.

The Linksys Velop is a sleek, efficient wi-fi system that provides seamless coverage to your entire home. The package arrives with minimal setup and straightforward instruction: download the Linksys app, connect to your current router and/or modem configuration, and then simply follow the two or three steps to connect. The system has three nodes to place in separate areas of your home. The recommendation is to place them out in the open, and they look stylish enough to do so, but I ended up hiding them in various corners and nooks out of sight. My coverage did not take any hit. My home is less than 2000 sq. ft, well within the capable 6000 sq. ft. coverage advertised. The system works as advertised. As soon as I switched over, the difference was noticeable. Coverage in the furthest area from my router is as strong as it is sitting next to it. The app gives you the option to prioritize up to three devices, though with more than 10 items in use, none of these devices are experiencing any noticeable dropoff. The Velop is simple to setup and provides amazing wi-fi to your full house. Highly recommended for any household or business that relies on seamless coverage. Full disclosure, I received this product for my honest, unbiased review.

I miss having ethernet and being able to wire APs but, this is the next best thing. I have gigabit ethernet and normally get about 5-600mbps up and down through the Velops. I sometime have poor connections between velops (I have 3 in a two story). I assume this is due to intermittent interference but, I haven't been able to pinpoint that issue. It doesn't last long anyhow.
