Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Velop AC2200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 5 System's ease of use, coverage, and setup, frequently citing its simple installation and strong signal. Many also praise the system's range and performance, reporting consistently reliable connectivity. However, some users experienced connection issues and noted the relatively high price. A limited number of Ethernet ports was also a recurring point of feedback.

We have a 2 story house with a basement. Our modem is on the second floor. We have a station at the modem. The second one is on the first floor and the third one is in the basement. We have smart TVs on each floor, iPads, iPhones and Alexa. My office is in the basement and I use 2 computers. I have not had any issues with speed or connection.

The connectivity (signal strength) throughout the house is definitely improved versus our stock modem/router. We have a 3 story house (basement, main floor, and upstairs). I'm not sure that the speed is really that much of an improvement. I'd recommend this system at $250 or less.

As I was renovating my house I realized that I needed to be able to increase my coverage. After researching the various products I decided on this one. It provides coverage to my entire house and the app allows me greater control over who uses it and I can prioritize devices. Get addition to my house and I think a great buy.

Love having wi-fi through the house. This is a great system that allows us to have wi-fi both upstairs and downstairs in our home.

I was experiencing slow WiFi in the house. While buying a computer monitor for my boy, I was talking to the computer guy. He recommended this to me. A few days later I went back down and bought it. It was easy to set up and we were online in a matter of minutes. I am not a computer geek and it was still fairly easy.

I’ve had these going three years now, and I’m yet to have an issue. They are easy to set up, look sleek, works with HomeKit and I'm upset my house isn't bigger, so I could purchase more. Go ahead, buy it; you won't be disappointed.

    Not as expected

Although, I might have eventually gotten used to it, this was not as expected. Set up for both units, a breeze. The problem was as I moved thru the house it kept asking for permissions, and it was not seamless as my devices, like my cell phone on Wi-Fi, would loose it and it might be a few minutes before it connected to the other unit and of course wanted permission. Also, it was only app controlled, I could not put a PC based app in, which made me wonder about my family, and if they could reach me to control things. They just want everything to work. I really wanted whole house coverage for my 3000 sqft home. I uninstalled and returned to store.

      Hi LaLa,

We understand your decision since the Linksys Velop was tested thoroughly to work properly once it is out of the box. We could have tried to power-cycle the nodes and made sure that the nodes firmware is up-to-date for isolation.

If you have questions or other concerns, just send us an email at [email protected].

Had the two node system and now the three. Sometimes have issues with a device dropping from the system, but with the multiple devices they share the network load well and generally dont have an issue. Currently have close to 40 devices on the network with no issues.

Needed a new WiFi system that wouldn’t interfere with our satellite internet service. The ability to change channels made a huge difference. These routers work and are easy to setup and use. The only downside is not being able to see what device is pulling the most bandwidth.

I have a house that needs wifi extenders. Each extender has to re-amplify a signal and uses a different name for the wifi (EX: Main is HOUSE.. Extended Wifi is HOUSE-EXT) . With the mesh, it is covering the entire house using one network name. Also very decretive so they can be placed almost anywhere.

Will work great if you have a big house and don’t have to use it on bridge mode. My house was too small for these so my devices never connected to the second node. Also, I had to use it in bridge mode because I have att fiber internet, this disables a lot of the advanced features. Ultimately I returned it
