I got this after trying lots of other methods (extenders, multiple accesspoints etc) and it works and was simple to setup, If you have fios and use verizon tv boxes you need to Buy a MOCA adapter then remove the verizon router it will work best that way. It would have been 5 stars but there app sucks

The set up on the Velop was as simple as promised. You just follow the steps on the app (be sure to download the app through your old wi-fi before starting), and it set up without a hitch. It now fills all the empty spots in my 5000+ sft house that my old AC wi-fi couldn't reach. I love it when a technology product works as promised.

The idea of a mesh network us impressive and can be helpful. There are certain things that can ask you to way weather or the Velop is for you. First and most aggravating for me is the fact that the parental controls still do not work consistently. This is very frustrating if I am for example from home and need to help enforce a child refusing to get off the xbox.

Works perfectly off ethernet port on frontier quantum gateway "router". Since I have phone and cable this was the easiest way. It was a very simple setup. Step by step the app tells you what to do, so you can't go wrong. If you do it will let you know. Overall a great system, and now I have the area coverage I was looking for. Turn wifi off for 2.4/5ghz networks on the frontier gateway in settings if you do this setup. You can login with admin password and whatever default gateway is on the frontier "router". The frontier quantum gateway has to be before the new mesh system, if you are using phone and cable like myself. If you just have internet then get rid of the gateway and just use new system. You must have a ran ethernet cable to the main box for this to work. If you have a internet cable already coming to your gateway from their box, and not just coax cable wire, then you should be good to go, and toss the fios gateway to the side.

The mesh network is great for home use, the only downside of it is not being able to select different channels, and you’re not able to have different bands for the 2.5 and 5 ghz. If you do want a router that’s easy to set up and that you can control from anywhere you can’t really go wrong with the Velop network.

I liked how fast the speed is on these two devices. Works great for the problem i had, i used to only get 50 mbps, but after installimg these i get 350 mbps from my router.

Although I live in a 3000 sq ft home, decided to purchase the Wi Fi system capable up to 6000 sq ft. , and I'm glad I did. Wanted to make sure the signal was strong on the patio and the front of the home for the Ring Door bell. Now I have maximum strength all over. Installation via a smartphone is a breeze.

I grabbed these when my old router died. They were super easy to set up, and have worked incredibly reliably. Having the option to hardwire the internet for things like computers, TVs, and my Playstation anywhere there is a node is a massive bonus.

After trying other wifi extenders in the past and not being happy... i was a skeptic. I have to say, I am no longer. The coverage on this system is amazing. I did a wireless speed test at the far end of my house and was getting the same speeds as I was hooked directly to the router. THIS is what wireless is supposed to be!!!

This is the best WiFi system I have ever experienced in the entire time I have been connected to the Internet - since the beginning. It is an exceptional product allowing me to extend WiFi across my 3500 sq ft home including out to my pool area. I use it through yor Smart Phone so it is easy to install and to use. I LOVE IT!

This simply installed Linksys product is just tops when it comes to making your home a wireless WIFI haven. Awesome streaming speed for the whole family. Installation is a breeze and I had no issues at all. It has a simple and great guest sign on for your family too. I’m happy that we have the Linksys Velop System.

Great upgrade from my AirPort Extreme. Have good coverage in all levels of my house with the 3 pods. I had some connection issues initially but after a couple iterations, moving my pods around, I think I have the sweet spots figured out.

I've had this for about a month now. It's set up was not as complicated as I thought. It took a bit in order to figure out the whole system but it works great. I have a 4 story house and the internet flows in the whole house including the basement.

OMG! I finally have gotten to where there are no dead spots in my 2600 square foot house! Pretty easy to set up, too.

Greatly improved my internet speed and connection. Life saver during the Covid lockdowns since my kids and my wife were all going to school or working from home. Maximized my internet speed and no more video connection issues.

There's definitely a learning curve for this thing and it is missing some things that would make it easier to use. As far as connections go, it's pretty reliable and not much speed is loss when using wireless. The problem comes when there are issues. If, for some reason, you need to reset the system you WILL have to call customer support as part of the process is hidden behind some very esoteric steps (such as clicking things you didn't know you could click, as well as clicking specific links on pages that change what is displayed on the page). It's not something that anyone will figure out on their own and this was something I had to do after pressing the reset button on one of the modules. Don't do that, just unplug and replug or you'll be spending an hour fixing it and then more time connecting the rest back up.

I tried 3 different home wifi systems. The Velop was very easy to set up. Just download the app and push the next buttons to install. The phone app is another story. It is sluggish and inadequate for a 500.00 device. The app took 15 or 20 seconds to load each time and didn't instantly pick up on new devices entering the network. I had to close it and reopen the app to pick up the new entries. This is a deal breaker. I got real time notices of new devices or entry attempts from another brand for half the price, and the network speed was nearly equal. Without a highly functional phone app, this unit doesn't meet my needs. I'm returning it. While researching other units, I came upon an April 2017 article about how the Linksys routers have a flaw that hackers can easily use to take over your router. I'm returning this one.

Had dead zones in my house with regular xfinity router. Set up the velop and I have no more dead zones anywhere. WiFi is strong throughout the entire house. Large 3 story house. Set up was fairly easy. Put my xfinity router in bridge mode and then set up the velop. The linksys velop customer service is excellent

We have a large house with a basement and two floors above. Signal strength was poor as the router had to be located in the basement. We bought these and we have better strength and range. Only issue I have is that you occasionally have to unplug one or more to reset them.

You will not be disappointed! For the longest I have been having internet issues. Decided to get a Mesh system and I have to say you will not get dead spots and always have a consistent signal through your house. Expensive but it’s worth every penny
