Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Velop AC2200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 5 System's ease of use, coverage, and setup, frequently citing its simple installation and strong signal. Many also praise the system's range and performance, reporting consistently reliable connectivity. However, some users experienced connection issues and noted the relatively high price. A limited number of Ethernet ports was also a recurring point of feedback.

A big stone fireplace through the center of our house has made wifi irritating forever. We bought an extender and it helped, but this system solved it. Now a strong signal anywhere on the house (even reaches into the yard now). Worth every penny.

Been paying for a wifi router from my ISP for many months and finally bought this, glad I did! It provides one SSID and your device will connect to the 2g or 5g depending on the devices ability. The app is easy to use as well.

The Spectrum supplied router failed to provide adequate coverage in my house. The Velop fixed the problem allowing us to have maximum Wi-Fi speed throughout our home. I had some issues with installation, but telephone support was excellent. The system is always connected, and I couldn’t be happier.

I got these black velops for a client. They work wonderfully and I recommend this mesh system for most use cases. The best part about it is the ability to have ethernet backhaul. Performance and reliability are both great as I use them full time for myself as well.

Good product for a more experienced network user. Fast, reliable product. Great for home or small office. Linksys installation and commissioning process needs improvement, but overall the process is sufficient if you already understand networking.

This has been the easiest setup for wifi that I have found. Plug into your main router/modem, download the app, and begin the setup process. Adding another one to the system is as easy as plugging it in and turning it on. You can even hard wire (if you have the cables run) to maximize bandwidth.

Super easy to set up and with the app you can control all your internal settings. Coverage in my two-bedroom apartment (split level) is awesome. I really like the LINKSYS aware motion detection system feature that I use as a back up to my alarm system.

I have tried a multitude of routers and extenders in the past but this system is the best by far. No more buffering issues while streaming and I have strong signal throughout my entire house and patio with no dead spots. We liked it so much two of my family members have purchased it for their homes.

I have a lot of devices connected and my Apple Airport Network was getting a bit long in the tooth. I went to the Tri-band System and everything is working better. Super simple install and the software dashboard gives me a lot of information and flexibility.

Compared all the mesh technology routers in the market and found this as the best of the top routers out there. Easy to setup and easy to use app and manage remotely and enable guest network and integration with Amazon Alexa helps for remembering network passwords as it spells for you.

I have an older house with plaster walls, so a WiFi extender didn’t work. This however works perfectly. It’s on the more expensive side, but if you have a large home and want good WiFi connection guaranteed, then this is the way to go.

units seem to work good. only 2 of the 3 units are keeping consistent signals. I really need to call Best Buy to discuss, sales person was awesome and took his time going over options with me. hope to get this fixed soon.

It's a great idea but unfortunately very unstable. If you order lots of units it will give you a large area of coverage but I find that my units are going on and off the network constantly. They tell you that 3 units will cover 6,000 sq. ft. but my first three didn't cover my 2,600 sq. ft.house. So I added two more and then two more again. With seven units I generally have service to all my devices but often two or three are off line at a time. I spent 2 hours with tech support and we changed the frequencies on each unit but they still were on and off line with regularity. A plus is that you don't lose speed like you do with extenders. If I had it to do over again, I would do more research and probably choose a different system.

Needed a new solution for some weak spots in the office regarding WiFi connectivity as well as an increase in the number of devices connecting to the network. Velop was easy to setup and get going quickly. Setting up all from a mobile app was a bit cumbersome, but worked out in the end.

Been great in our 3500 sqft home. Easy to set up, guided by the app. If you have large finger accessing the cable in the under surface if each unit can be difficult. Connectivity around the house has been great.

    Strong signal on all bands

The setup is easy, but confusing, because all 3 nodes have to be close to each other. In the end though, the signal strength is much better and I don't have to worry about setting up multiple bands. Devices automatically get the band they need.
