Overall this solved our problems

We have a long skinny house on two floors and our router and modem are on one end of it due to the location of the internet line. Even a high-end router with an extender caused a huge loss of signal even halfway through the house. There was a lot of buffering and slow loading of even basic websites.
The Velop system was fairly easy to setup, though time-consuming. It took each node 5-10 minutes to find it and get it on the network. Then, we had to move the nodes around for optimum coverage. We have 3 nodes for a 2400 s.f. house (1,200 on each level) plus garage (there is an internet radio out there). When I moved a node, I had to re-find it on the system even though it was supposed to maintain the connection.
The amazing thing is that no matter where we are in the house, we still get the 50+ MBPS we are supposed to be getting.
The system does hiccup, however, but it seems to be at peak internet usage. I wonder if we need 4 units, but from a square foot perspective, we already have more than we need, but maybe the layout isn't ideal.
Overall, this solved our problems and we have fewer connection issues that we did before. It's not for everyone, especially with the high price tag, but it certainly was worth it for us as we run our small business out of our home.

Definitely Lynksys hits a home run with the Velop. We have a 3,000sqf house, build in the 70's with big walls and a lot of divisions, the Velop covers all areas with a great wifi signal. For houses under 4k sqf. the 2 Nodes works wonders. The phone app is awesome and easy to set up. The wifi in your house or office will be up and running (fast) under 20 minutes.

I recently upgraded Verizon internet speed to 200m/200m and my old router does not support the higher bandwidth now. As a result, I bought the Linksys Velop AC6600 (2 meth nodes) to cover my large area (about 5000 sf). The system is very easy to set up in about 20 minutes without any issues. In addition, it has the flexibility through two ethernet outlet on each set which allow me to use them to have a wired connection using coax cable using Moca adapters to bring the mean access point of my WIFI to the center of my house. It also allow me to hock in a cell signal booster using ethernet port of another meth node. I have been using the system for about a month and never need to have a reboot of the routers. The three nodes cover my house of about 5000 sf without any dead spot. In addition, the iphone app used to manage the system is also very easy to use at home or even away. It is overall a great meth router system for a medium sized home.

I added this to my home because there's bad coverage in my guest room and my nest cameras outside the house. Since adding this mesh system I now have coverage everywhere even in my driveway in my car. It has dropped only once but has been flawless since then.
My advise is to connect the first one via ethernet cable to your internet router. Once that is set up then set the next one in the same room until you are done. Once done then move the others to a location where you want them to be but not too far away. You want all the mesh to be able to talk to each other and be a network in the house. I found that worked out good for me and my house is 3 floors with the initial mesh in the basement, 2nd on the ground floor and the 3rd upstairs. Now I can stream in HD all over the house. With kids at home we all have enough bandwidth to do our work.

I downloaded the Linksys app and followed the app Instructions and within minutes my wifi was up and running. It was easy to connect our mobile devices, IPhones, IPads and Windows laptop. since using the Linksys - Velop AC2200 Tri-Band Whole Home Wi-Fi System - White I have NOT noticed any Wifi dropouts what so ever. Securing is really great. The Velop is Sleek and Stylish, not much bigger than a pop can and looks like living room decor. the Easiest and Best Wifi around. Highly Recommended!

Our modem is located in the garage on one side of the house, with bedrooms on the ground floor and basement at the opposite side of the house. The original router we had in place could reach the bedrooms, but just barely, which made streaming video a pain.
A mesh network was recommended to me, and these units from Linksys have worked perfectly since being put in a few weeks ago.
Easy to set up, and the ability to prioritize devices means we don’t have choppy connections when it’s important.

I purchased the Netgear Orbi thinking that Netgear has quality products only to do battle with it over 2.5 months working with tech support and taking advice from their customer forums. Many were returning their Orbi's and I waited until one day when it proved too challenging trying to get connected.
I did some online research and found the Velop but I wanted additional advice so I went to my local Best Buy where the sales tech knew his stuff - we discussed the merits of several WiFi routers and the Velop was the best, having confirmed my research.
Getting it home, unboxing was a breeze, then downloading the Linksys app to my iPad turned out to be the only thing not included in the box. The install was very easy - had the 1st unit (purchased a set of 2) working within 5 minutes and the 2nd was another 5 before it was up (had to find where to put it in the house near an outlet).
The quality is superb, it just works, and the speed is better than the Orbi and better than the Apple Airport Extreme that I had before that.
The Velop design is very nice and doesn't clash with our decor, it isn't too large or noticeable and just blends in.
My recommendation is that if you need a WiFi router that this is the one you should get. If you have a large home then get a set of 2 and you won't regret it. If your home is larger then you can add a 3rd unit, probably more.

I’ve tried a few range extenders and they just fall short. Plus, you have to manually connect to them. The Velop system is fantastic. I have a 3 level, 5000 sq ft home with SEVERAL connected devices (4 smart TVs, multiple iPads, echos, Argos, fire sticks, phones etc and I’ve had ZERO connection issues. Pretty life changing. Setup was super easy. I can’t recommend this system enough.

Had issues with Verizon FiOS, of course Verizon said signal was being blocked by walls and wires or metal they sent me an extender didn't help sent it back then wanted to increase my speed I didn't go go for that, AMAZING the VELOP does reach entire property through walls, metal and wires I'm now getting more than the speed of 75/75, previous I was getting around 40/54. Setup was as easy as 1-2-3 works beautifully. The salesperson at Best Buy was most helpful by recommending the VELOP

The mesh wifi system works well and delivers strong signal. very easy to set up, easiest router to date. The app does a good job interfacing with the system. Speed tester built in. Don't recommend using prioritization unless you have really slow internet.

I replaced my existing WiFi router with this Mesh system. I have a 2,000 Square Foot Ranch with 3 bedrooms and an additional 1900 square feet in the basement. I have 1 node on the main level, 1 in the basement for my 3 kids, and one node 65 feet away in an unattached 1200 square foot garage. All areas get great speed. I was surprised that I was able to connect my garage node due to the distance from the main node. Even in my garage I get 80-120 MBPS. I have Xfinity internet and can get up to 360 Mbps download. I can stream anywhere in the house with multiple Rolu’s and also stream in my garage. This has been a great purchase with 3 kids on zoom calls for school. Thanks Best Buy and Linksys!

Let me start by saying that I had a LINKSYS EA9500 MAX-STREAM™ AC5400 MU-MIMO GIGABIT WI-FI ROUTER and had nothing but problems with it. Linksys has set me 2 new ones since the EA9500 kept breaking and had tons of issues in my house. The first problem was, The Router would reboot intermittently and I couldn't find any reason for it doing it. After talking to Tech Support, They found some problems and replaced it promptly. Once they sent me a new one, I couldn't even log into the setup page to set it up. It was defective out of the box. Linksys was going to send me another one. As I was doing the RMA Process for the 2nd one, I started reading reviews about the MESH / Tower Systems as I call them, and they were getting great reviews. After reading about all of them, Linksys seemed to have the best one so I thought I would bite the bullet and buy it. Setup was done in less than 10 minutes for all 3 devices. I put one tower on each floor, and we have had no problems with any devices in our house. We have probably close to 60 or so wifi devices including all the smart lights and all the cool gadgets like Alexa and Google Home. The only downfall to this setup is, You only have 1 wired connection to use at the location with the Cable Modem and you only have 2 connections for each other device. It is very easy to buy a small 5 port hub and install into the device if you need more connections at one place. I believe Linksys might of finally hit a home run / made a product that is good like the old days with WRT54 that would run forever and forever.

The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because the salesperson at Best Buy Mission Valley highly recommended this mesh system above all the others because he said the setup was EASY, as well as the unit being very, very good. I am here to tell you that the setup was FAR FROM EASY. My wife and I were on the phone with our internet provider for about an hour trying to get it hooked up and working. And when that failed, we had to call Linksys for their help . . . we were on the phone with them for 1 & 1/2 hours. We are praising the dogged determination of the Linksys rep that helped us because he would not give up. HOWEVER, to have to spend all of these hours on phone calls to set up a system is just not what should be happening, especially with something as expensive as this system. This Linksys system, once working, is awesome! We have never had such fast and reliable internet . . . EVER. We highly recommend if you are willing to spend an entire day shopping for it, then going home and spending 3 plus hours on the phone to get it hooked up!

Strong coverage and very fast. Exactly what I was looking for. One thing that would be nice is to be able to dim, disable or turn off the LED status light on top...at least over night. It’s very bright in a bedroom, but a great idea from another post I read before purchasing is to put a coin over the LED, which works great. What’s awesome is you can create a guest account to log in with a different password.

This is a great mesh system. I pay for 100/10 Mb service and this allows me to fully cover my 6000sq foot 3 story home. I am able to watch or stream on numerous devices at the same time without lag or buffering. It is easy to set up and I have over 20 devices connected including thermostats cameras and amazon devices and have no problem. A bit expensive but if you can get it on sale I highly recommend it.

Overall I am very pleased and impressed with this Velop System.
The overall look and feel of the nodes are high quality. The setup of the network was very easy via the Linksys App. It walks you through step by step. I only had an issue setting up the 3rd node. I had to reset it and try it again to get it to work.
The results are very very good. I am clocking in speeds of about 179 mbps and I only pay for 150 mbps through Xfinity. These things perform very well.
I am loving this network in my home so far and would highly recommend this to anyone who would like fast speed in their house along with exceptional coverage.

I had a router with 3 satellite repeaters and 8 network names. Because they were repeaters, the fastest signal was, at most, half of the 100 mbps I’m paying for. I read about mesh. The linksys mesh system was on sale $100 off. Had a q&a with a Best Buy sales rep, bought the system and installed it in less than 30 minutes. I now have indoor and outdoor coverage on my 4 bedroom house at 133 mbps on all devices with one network name. The device chooses to use 2.4 or 5.0 frequencies or you can set them up as individual networks. I use them as one network and I couldn’t be happier. I absolutely would recommend this system to anyone who needs a network that covers a home and wants to get the full speed and spectrum you are paying for.

I was in the Best Buy and debating on a couple different wifi amplifiers and an assistant came and sold me on these. I was very hesitant on the price, however I did a little more research and bought them. Super excited to tell you they work extremely well. I have a duplex that I wanted to spread the wifi in and this does it with NO issues. I want to add that this building is made of brick and concrete. With just the wifi modem I would loose signal in the next room... literally. I have two nodes up now, one in the front of the second floor unit and one in the back end of the second floor unit. Just two of the towers spread wifi through the whole building AND I have full reception out in the garage. On top of that, the setup is super easy and the online app blends with the nodes seamlessly. The control over your towers are awesome and easy to use. It may be pricey, this is a super solid product.
