The router had to be installed on the ground floor and lacks connectivity on the top floor. Until I installed this. This thing is a life changer. I thought I had decent internet... until I had the best internet! Holy moly. Makes a world of difference... no dead spots anywhere in my house. Omg!

I talked to a sales rep at Best Buy who also happened to have this same product in his home and he said in his experience it has really improved his Wifi. The set up was quite easy, but since then I have noticed that they often disconnect from each other and the service has been quite spotty. I talked to a network specialist and was told that these work best if you can run hard wires between each of the nodes. In my opinion, if you are planning on running hard wires then you really don't need this product, but since I already have this item I may go ahead and pay to have someone come out and run ethernet cables through my attic to connect these for better Wifi throughout our home.

It could be that the nodes are not on a proper placement. You may try moving them closer where the node still gets at least 3 WiFi bars from the nearest node. If that won’t help, let’s have our Escalation Engineers assist you further. Better then what I had

I was having issue's with interference with my old wifi,The microwave would disrupt the signal everytime it was on. Plus there are so many different devices connected to the wifi nowadays , another reason I upgraded. So about Velop, It's great, I get full house coverage with nearly double the speed I had with my older router.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought as extra nodes for Velop AX4200 where I have a dead zone in my house (it was on sale, I use only one and never activated the second). This node does not work perfectly with Velop AX4200. Set-up was much harder and the LED turns red a lot. Items using this Velop AX4200 node register to the Velop AX4200 main node. Low rating maybe based on the fact that this node is the fourth on three Velop AX4200.

Relocating the node might help as it possibly can’t get an optimum connection from the nearest node. The Velop AC2200 has to be reset all the time and it looses it's nodes. The speed is good, just issues having to reset it all the time.
