I bought the two tower set and easily configured the two access points. I’m not a novice when it comes to computers or networking so it may be a challenge for some. Nonetheless, my network was dropping out weekly before I bought and configured the Velop system. I wanted a good name and Linksys has always been solid.

I have had this system for couple months now and it has done wonders for extending my wifi network in my house. The problem is that is drops connectivity at least twice a day. I have a device hardwired into my main mesh router and I don't have an issues with that device so I think it has something to do with the wifi signal. Based on my experience and the price of these devices I think I would look for a different system with better wifi capabilities or consistency. Product is easy to setup and app is easy to use. Support was good when I called in for other issues but it is frustrating to have to deal with this on a daily basis.

This system is absolutely amazing! Worked wonders for our 2 story home that wasn't getting signal from one end to the other. We haven't had a single problem since we bought this and if there is any connection problems, you can fix it through the app on your phone. It's pricey, but so worth every bit! I reccomend it to everyone!

Good idea to have 3 units as a set to cover a big house with strong signal, and a user can use only one of them or two. It will be even greater if the 3 units can be connected wirelessly. Using cables to connect the 3 of them is not a funny thing.

Worked excellent for a larger apartment! Would recommend!

We have a tri-level home with 1,440 Sq ft on each level. The modem is in the lowest level but having these on each upper level gives easy Wi-Fi connections and speed. We run several TVs, laptops and hand-held devices simultaneously with no detectable lag in bandwidth or speed.

These were great for wifi but I needed some that I could hardwired a few devices as my roommates and I game on xbox and computers. With these you can only hardwired one device. It does however have an easy set up and great wifi range.

Set-up was as smooth as silk...the performance is acceptable

These worked great and were easy to set up using the app. I loved my Wi-Fi signal, full strength throughout my house. But 1 month later (almost to the day) the whole system just crashed for no apparent reason. 2 of the nodes won't stay connected to the main router. The 3rd says it's connected but it doesn't seem to extend the Wi-Fi signal at all. When trying to connect to the Wi-Fi, I often get the message "Incorrect Password" even though the password is 100% correct. I'm very frustrated with this. I really wanted to give a 5 star review, but this new problem has really soured me.

You can also get it in black. I was excited about the white for a the home setting. But actually the black is really nice looking as well. Wouldn’t pick anything else for mesh WiFi. I only used the 3 units in the box. I didn’t add additional ones as WiFi reception was beautiful with just the 3 units.

Works excellent, had some trouble to get the WiFi working off the router. Contacted Tec support and they where awesome they linked into the system and had the wifi up and-running in a short amount of time after locating the issue with the cable company supplied router. Excellent TEC. SUPPORT!

It's fullfil the needs of my home. I don't feel any distraction during its use. I have pretty good load of about 20 devices on it, but as of now, no complains. I have tested it on multi video streamings simultaneously on different devices but didn't find any issue till now. It provides good security features to protect your network as well.

work well all around the house & decent outside at distance

I've been working in IT for 20+ years and haven't had more trouble than getting this system running well. I originally tried to operate it in bridge mode using my current router but it took a Loy of playing around and multiple resets to get the nodes up and synced. Always had trouble getting the third one going even when I switched them around and they aren't more than one room apart. I finally decided to get third of my current router. Took another full night but I finally got all 3 going well. There are a couple known issues with these. You can not turn off the very bright LED light on the node. A problem if it's in your bedroom. Second, you can not choose which node to connect a device to or force 5GHz unless you set it up with separate 2.5 and 5 GHz signals. This can be a real pain.
