This product could be a great product IF linksys would let you go in and change the settings on your own. Other than that this product works as intended 400/40 solid. The app could use a little work.

I have spectrum. Disconnected their router and hooked up this one to their modem. Ran app set up account. Took a few minutes to set each one up on different levels of house but my entire house has excellent WiFi signal now.

Honestly I'm quite confused with all those postings touting WiFi speeds similar to what's out the modem. I thoroughly tested the system and in no way this hardware is going to wirelessly deliver what it's promising. 1. Distance between nodes. Even when the db is between -45 and -55 for backhaul communication, I was able to get a consistent speed of around 50% to 60% of the total output. Because I did not believe what I saw, I contacted Linksys service. They could not figure out the problem, and that's because there is no problem, the system is just designed like that. 2. Mesh system as a glorified set of extenders: I made the mistake of reading lots of reviews rather than making my own technical research on network performance for mesh networks. Just because you have a software that automatically hands on a client from one node to another, that doesn't mean that you will get more download speeds than a regular extender. 3. Reliability: This mesh system is in no way more reliable than any affordable router. It all comes down to proper set up and maintenance. Back to point 2, if you feel you need to upgrade your router due to slow internet, chances are that you just need an extender or perhaps, reconfigure your router. 4. Speed, speed and speed: Streaming online in 4K requires about ~25Mbps. For most people, that's enough to carry on with their lives, which explains why so many are still happy with getting their internet speeds slashed in half by this system in lieu of reliability (read point 3 for reliability). Conclusion: I hate returning things to BestBuy as I love these guys, but unfortunately I cannot keep something that will not outperform a $99 extender. Pros: Nice looking device. Cons: Slashes internet speeds.

I bought this at a local Best Buy store on recommendation of a sales associate because he commented the product offered superior speed over the eero mesh wifi device I had come into the store to purchase. It had to be shipped to my house because they did not have one in stock.. When I received the device showed that I needed to have an IOS or Android device and download an app to install. I don't own a mobile device with either. I then had the geek squad install install the network. The first time installed it didn't work right.. Works fine after a second visit from the geek squad. Be warned though that the device lacks enough Ethernet ports (only two on each node).

Velop Tri-band was recommended by Best Buy associate, the set up was App based and not only walked me through the process, but did all the work. The system has greatly improved wifi speeds throughout the house, and is replacing an AirPort Extreme.

Had the Velop for a week now and did not stay connected when first set it up to my cable modem. Researched fixed and working ok right now but waiting to see before I return.

I have a three unit Velop mesh in place but had some slower wifi speeds in certain areas. So I purchased this 2 pack and added members to my existing network. So easy to add and really helped with speed in my problem areas.

First couple days seems to work fine but then two or then that weren’t used with Ethernet cord would disconnect and need to be reconnected

I’m a little disappointed in this Wi-Fi device. They’re very expensive and when they’re working they’re OK but they dropped connection all the time.

These were easy to set up, had them running in about 10 minutes. They are a little bigger than most other options, but are not an eyesore. One complaint I have would be that they don't have a USB connection for my backup hard drive.

I returned this...so I’m not sure why you would want me to review it. I’m sure it’s a good product but I never opened the box or used it. I just want the free reward points for doing this review. Thanks.

I use to have max stream and then upgraded to this mesh system and it definitely improved my wifi quality at home. Download speeds on iPad I was getting 300 mbps

Especially to be able to spread around the house and provide better signal in certain areas of the house. Very complicated to get to sync up require help from the service area to complete set up

This Linksys mesh system has really been great addition for my home Wi-Fi experience. No lagging or dropped Wi-Fi and was relatively simple to install. Would definitely recommend if having Wi-Fi issues within the home.

WIFI Mesh System and this one is a great one. Easy to install, easier to setup, and works like a charm. Very good coverage and looks good in the house without being an eye sore.

Adding the 3 pack Linksys-Velop to our home network has given us the best connectivity! We had difficulty with our previous system, but with the expandabilty of the Velop we are able to increase our productivity.

After reading multiple reviews of the product, I am determined to buy and test it at home. After the setup which was very easy, our connection has improved significantly throughout the house. I am very happy with this purchase. Mesh network is the way to go.

Works like a charm I’m just bummed we have starlink and have to wait for the other equipment to still use these throughout the house

This unit works fantastic I use it to get from the house outside to my RV in the backyard. It works just as I intended I am very happy with this product. The RV is quite a distance from the house.
