The Tri-Band Mesh WI-FI is beyond all that I anticipated. So please that I bought this. Numerous reasons to own: 1. simple and easy set up 2. parental controls AND monitoring 3. ability to use as a motion detection with alerts to your phone when you are away 4. INCREDIBLE RANGE! My house is double bricked (Built In the 50's). My previous wi-fi barely made it out side of the home. This set up has NO issues broadcasting outside of the home.

I’ve used many different brands of routers in the past but always seem to come back to Linksys and this mesh system does not disappoint, the set-up was mindlessly easy. All you do is download their app and follow a couple easy steps and you are up and running, it can’t get any easier than this. After setting up the first node I checked my range with only one node and it was superior to my Internet supplied gateway and obviously after setting up all three nodes the range both indoor and outdoor is superior to what I had. Completely satisfied.

Bought this because of the outstanding reviews. Wasn't too hard to set up, you use an app on your phone that walks you through the process. You have to set them up one at a time and you must leave your phone next to it while it is pairing with each node which takes about 10 minutes each. Have had a few issues with it loosing signal but I think it may have more to do with the old cable modem that I have from Spectrum than the nodes. Plan to replace the cable modem soon. They have good signal and very much strengthened the signal throughout the house.

The Best Wireless Solution for Multi-level Homes

I purchased this Wi-fi system expecting a lot because of the cost. I will say that this system is well worth the price. I was using a omnidirectional wireless router previously that was mid range in cost and was getting between 1-24 Mbps download speeds to my devices depending on where in the house I was located at the time. After installing this system and allowing it to auto tune the frequency, I am seeing between 110-175 Mbps on my wireless devices in every room in my house, even our back deck. I am extremely pleased with this system. You will need to click a button for this system to auto tune to the best frequency to see the optimal speeds.

I purchased this a little over a month ago. There are many things to like about this with the highlights being the range and speed. I upgraded from a standalone single unit and now I am getting speeds up to 110 mbps which previously were only up to 20 mbps at best in certain areas of the house. The base unit I am now getting 200 mbps which previously was only 100. In the basement I now average 75 mbps which again is a huge improvement from the 5 mbps. Not only has the speed increased but also the signal strength is much better all around the house. Very happy with the purchase so far.

This is by far one of the best Mesh home systems out there. Easy setup guide in just a few simple steps. Really like, how Linksys made it so easy to add extra nodes for extra WiFi coverage throughout the house. This Mesh system really has made my WiFi system much faster and more reliable at home. It has a very well put app in place to monitor and control plenty of settings to your connected devices. This was a premium Best Buy only….very pleased with my purchased.

After attaching the first station to my home router, I downloaded the App. The cellphone app then guided me through the steps. Plug in the 2nd and 3rd router in the first room and let them syc to each other. Then locate them into the best locations of the house. The app has a signal strength tester.

I was very intimidated with the thought of building a wireless mesh in my home. I straddle GenX and Me-llenial, but I prefer plumbing and framing to IT. These are truly plug and play. The app works awesome from my cell phone. I've had a few glitchy moments with all of the cells, and the issues have been resolved through online and also over the phone troubleshooting. Outstanding product. I really didn't need a whole home Wi-Fi at the moment being I live in an apartment but I went ahead and spent the extra money and future proofed myself. Love that each module has 2 Ethernet ports for direct connection to wherever you put it if necessary. The setup process was more difficult than explained but in all reality it was simple just make sure you can tell when the light on the top of module is blue or purple. The 2 colors resembled each other too closely. Also I purchased the warranty through bestbuy. The product comes with I believe 3 years manufacturer but in the past I've never had good luck dealing with manufacturers. I had the warranty with my previous router and bestbuy made it extremely easy. They refunded what I paid for my previous router and let me put that amount towards my whole home Wi-Fi! So the next time around if I have issues with this i can take it to my local bestbuy and I expect it to go just as smooth. Lot easier than calling and getting the run around from manufacturer.

This has completely revolutionized our wifi system in our condo. We originally were not able to get signal on our balcony, or even consistent signal in our living room with a Linksys EA8300 in the office. We then tried a range extender from Linksys...this improved things but did not give enough consistency in signal throughout the home. Now with this system, we have 200+ mbps on our balcony and every corner of our house. Much more expensive than I would've liked to pay (that's why 4/5) but works flawlessly.

I've had Netgear routers for years and decided to try the mesh from LinkSys and this has been the best experience ever. I now have 1 SSID for the whole house, no more streaming buffering on my 20mb bonded DSL. I tested 4 video streams at once on DSL and no buffering!!! Highly recommend Velop!

With a 3000+ sq ft house, I had cobbled together access points and constantly found myself having to change my WiFi connection depending on what part of the house I was in. This gives me one continuos connection without ever having to second guess anything. I have the 3 unit setup and always have full strength ang get my advertised DL/UL speeds with FIOS everywhere I have tried and now have good coverage outside as well. I do have many smart devices in the house (lights, switches, and locks, etc) so having to go through the setup with 30 plus devices through homekit was a bit of a pain but not the fault of this system. I highly recommend.

At my previous home, I had been utilizing a router and WiFi extenders, which worked fine. It was just a bit irritating that the setup created 2 networks and the connection was simply sufficient. When we moved into our new home, I learned about mesh networks and decided to give it a try. What a huge difference! It creates ONE, seamless network and it provides excellent coverage throughout our home... even outside. With the app, setup was a breeze. The real kicker is that I can easily control our WiFi connections and set up controls for my kids devices. (They have no idea... they just think the network is down. HeHe)

I was hesitant to buy this product because it is expensive and my home is solid concrete that makes it difficult for WiFi to work. The set up process went smoothly, but the app does take some getting used to and seems to be lacking information in the Help section. For the first month an a half, the WiFi was smooth and speedy. Now, one of the distant nodes keeps indicating it is too far away from the main node. Nothing with the set up has changed and the firmware is up to date. This issue is puzzling, and for the price that was paid, I did not expect to have an issue so soon.

The. Velop system was super easy to set up, and has provided rock solid signal, and near max speeds throughout my 3000+ sq ft concrete block ranch (100mbps in from cable co, and see consistent 95mbps speeds at all areas of the house). I replaced an apple airport time capsule with several airport express extenders, and the velop blows that system away. No issues handing off between nodes, no constant reboots required. The bonus is that I was able to turn off the wireless on the time capsule, and plug it into the velop Ethernet port for continued time machine backups through the velop network. It seemed expensive when I got it, but so far it has been totally worth it.

The Velop AC2200 has resolved the wifi issue in my house no other product had been able to. I am trying to cover 5000+ sqft over 3 levels. I had a signal in roughly 1/3 of the house and zero in the rest. After installing this mesh network, the dead areas are now around 180 mbps! I am more than pleased with this purchase, particularly getting them on sale for $250. This product is definitively worth it if you have a large area to cover. It is also super easy to set up, no tech knowledge or assistance necessary at all.

It is a little on the pricey side but the ease of setting it up and reliability are excellent. You use a phone app and connect to each unit via Bluetooth and before you know it your network is up and running. It felt almost too easy and I thought I must be missing something, but nope! And after setup my entire house now has great coverage. Even the shed, which is about 60' away gets a decent signal! An apparent common issue is the indicator light changing to red regularly, indicating loss of connection to the internet. However, the system still functions perfectly fine. If it actually does disconnect, the app will notify you. Very happy with it!!!
