Many also praise the system's range and performance, reporting consistently reliable connectivity. However, some users experienced connection issues and noted the relatively high price. Great value for this mesh system that covers our 5,000SqF home with ease. Set up is easy although lengthy compared to other Mesh Systems and the Linksys app could use a major refresh. Took one star off because Customer Service was not so great.

The Linksys mesh system is great once its set up. I have this in a large single story home. Functions much better than having a WiFi extender. Your device will automatically switch to the closest node instead of having to manually switch with an extender. My only gripe is that the app used to set up each node doesn't work very well. During the set-up process it often will keep searching / waking up / initializing / etc. After HOURS of trying to get it to complete I gave up. Went back to it the next day, reset the device with the button on the bottom and for some reason it completed the set-up without any issues. Only took about 10 minutes. Then went to install the first "child" node and had similar problems. An hour plus of searching / etc. Had to bring the second node about 6 feet from the first before the app would let it connect. After set-up I was able to move the node to the desired location. Again, LOVE the product once you get through the set-up process!

This is exactly the answer i needed to handle the problem of weak connectivity and slow speeds from my previous wireless router with repeaters setup. Easy to install, great signal strength, and works like a champ. Had it up for several weeks without a single drop or loss of speed.

My WiFi is actually faster through the Velop than just through my Comcast WiFi router. It was easy to setup and I commonly have 11-12 devices connected. Right now I am in a 1,700 sq ft condo so it isn’t covering a lot of ground but I am moving into a larger house and I will certainly be needing the larger coverage there.

This works great so far but it was a pain to install. I had to call tech support and they had to install it remotely. It took forever. It might be easier for someone with more tech knowledge than me. I would give it a 5 star on how it has performed so far.

I was using a system with extenders. Sometimes they worked well but other times it didn't perform well enough or at all. With three of these I have no dead zones and haven't experienced a single failure in a month. Very easy to set up. The whole thing was up and running in less than 10 minutes and I was out on the pool deck watching Netflix. Very pleased so far.

Initial set up was not complicated, however it took a while and a tech support call to reset and register the nodes. Overall, covers a large footprint and passes very high speeds on a fiber line. Recommend adding a switch to the router node for more options.

Once you experience whole home WiFi from a router like the Velop (bought the 2 unit set), you’ll never even think about going back to a singular router. Incredible setup & control, parental controls, coverage is mind blowing and having extra Ethernet ports is so wonderful. Will cover ~4,000 square feet. If 3 levels or over 3500 get the 3 pack

I had a Linksys router with 8 antennas and the Cox tech said the problem was that. I bought this unit which comes with 3 towers and I was able to spread them around to rooms I used a lot. Now my signal is good and it just made sense to have multiple units. I highly recommend this product.

Really happy with this. We have XFI package and use wifi in our 2500 sq ft house but we had noticable slow or even dead spots. We tried a cheap "wifi extender" but it mad things worse because sometimes wed have decent wireless and other times it would be completely dead. The Velop was super easy to set up and it gas really improved our wifi.

We have had nothing but problems with our wi-fi signal in our 2 story house for years from one end to the other including top to bottom. We even thought our ring doorbell and camera's were defective because they didn't always work. Every few years we would buy another router thinking that was the problem per conversations with different tech savey people from each company manufacturer. Just because they help us with hooking up their system they feel it will work. Not. So after trying a Netgear EX8000 AC3000 Nighthawk X6S Tri-Band WiF Mesh Extender and having to call Netgear more then 2 times within a few weeks we decided to return it. We wouldn't leave the store until we spoke to someone that really understood our situation and what we need. Finally someone figured out our problem and introduced us to the Linksys - Velop. OMG, besides the super easy installation we have not had one problem with our wi-fi, Ring doorbell included working everywhere in our house including front and backyards. Thumbs up to Linksys

Easy to set up, great coverage and I like the options. Only two things I would change is more RJ45 ports on the router, need at least 4 not 2, however I used a splitter and it works fine. The other is the ability int the smart phone app to put the WIFI on a timer and have it shut off and turn on on your schedule.

My Mother’s house is very large. Her router is in the very last room of the house. By the time you get to the den you are down to one bar. This system was easy to install and even boosts the WiFi to the attic. I researched the heck out of Mesh systems and this one received great reviews and works great with any router.

Upgraded from Apple's Airport wireless setup to this mesh network and we've been super happy with it. The design perhaps isn't as nice as some of the other options out there (Google Nest, Eero). The app is pretty great and we several hooked up via Ethernet and switches and it's reliable and super fast.

I am using this product in a vacation rental that is out of town. It was critical for me to have remote access to my router at all times. The app does not disappoint. Very east setup. Great coverage. I purchased 3 unit pack but 2 were sufficient. I have excellent coverage outside (home at beach). I would highly recommend this product. Reviews were spot on.

I was skeptical at first. I purchased this, due to dead spots I was noticing with my AC 1900 router, that was mounted in the center of my house. I didn't research this much, so I was initially surprised that my old router would not be part of the new setup. I figured I could always return this and go back, if it didn't work out. I hardwired each pod on a different level of my house. I already had wired network in several locations, so it was an easy choice for me, vs wireless linking. I placed them in a manor that allowed the most coverage throughout the house and yard. Once complete, I ran some tests and was extremely pleased with the outcome. There were no more dead spots, or even weak spots. The entire house was now covered! I went outside and was again pleased that now I had great coverage in every corner of the yard. I would highly recommend this to anyone that is having WiFi coverage issues in their home. I would also recommend hooking them up hardwired, if at all possible.
