Not worth an early upgrade

The lack of intranet ports on the units is disappointing and a downgrade from the previous model. Was able to combine nodes and use a combination of old and new to get more coverage but was hoping the upgrade would be enough. If you’re upgrading from an older system I am sure you will have better experience than me.

But this newer version not happy with it Takes for ever to connect to devices. Have to restart the mesh routers very often. I’ve troubleshoot with customer service and it absolutely went no where.

I thought I'd give Linksys a try again after having nothing but problems in the past (mainly because they are way cheaper than pretty much anyone else). Boy was that a mistake. This system constantly becomes unresponsive, routers reboot themselves, and connectivity is very spotty. Additionally, the app is also trash and works about twenty-five percent of the time. Seems ridiculous that you need to spend $600+ for a decent mesh system these days but I guess that's where we're at in 2023/2024. I will say that when it does work it is working well but that doesn't mean much when reliability is well below acceptable. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

We recommend trying the below troubleshooting steps and observe for any change in performance.
1. Check the power adapter's specifications ensuring it has the required tech specifications of 12V / 3A.
2. Try plugging the node into a different power outlet.
3. Consider swapping the main node's adapter with one from a child node.
Regarding the App’s intermittent behavior, try to uninstall the Linksys app by deleting the application data then uninstalling/reinstalling the App. We can also try utilizing a different device and install the latest Linksys App, should the same issue persist.
Let’s also perform some steps to enhance your mesh connection by ensuring that the child node is at an optimal distance and connects to the nearest node. Checking the app for wireless signal strength, expressed in dBm or RSSI (preferably close to -60 dBm), can help. The app will also indicate signal strength as excellent, good, fair, or weak.

Maybe took 30 minutes total from plug in to updating firmware. Increased wifi coverage all over the house and especially through a brick wall to an outside screened in porch. The screened in porch was a trouble spot prior to the Linksys system. Speed of our internet in the house increased about 10 times from what it was on the porch. Speed was adequate before but better now. We are an xfinity customer.

No lagging even with games like call of duty.. started off having problems setting up, once I called customer service they were extremely helpful and got me up and running in about 20mins. I would recommend this product!!
