Customers love the Velop Pro 6E AXE5400 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6E System's extensive coverage, ease of setup, and improved performance. Many appreciate the system's strong signal and wide range, making it ideal for larger homes. However, some users have noted that the accompanying app could benefit from improvements and that connectivity issues have been experienced by a few. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and ease of use outweighs the negative comments regarding the app and occasional connectivity problems.

Great Mesh System

This mesh system is fast. I highly recommend it since it's priced below most other 6E systems. Only complaint is that the setup had issues that I only knew how to troubleshoot because I had experience with my prior system. A new user might get very frustrated with the setup freezes.

Excellent coverage of entire house plus adjacent business building, very stable mesh (previous router required frequent resets).

I'm giving two stars because Linksys actually acknowledged me. I couldn't actually get the system work. I went round and round in circles on the app trying to set this up. The app kept hanging. I couldn't get past the "privacy pledge." I reset everything multiple times and tried using two different devices. I toiled for two hours before returning the system to the store. I grew up in the 90s so i'm not intimidated by technology.
The last email I received from Linksys asked for my information and serial numbers to create a help ticket for the escalation engineers. I appreciate that they offered to do this, however this is 2023. A product should work out of the box with immediate results, especially one from a respected company. I probably could have went into the router manually with the IP address, but I lost faith in the product.
Fix your app. This probably would have been awesome mesh system if it worked.

Hi,
The issue you’ve experienced during app setup is unusual and doing manual setup via browser-based UI could’ve helped solve this. We regret to hear that you've already returned the product.

System seems to be working okay.
However, can't get the app to work consistently.
The Linksys customer services is not great. They told me that they would call me back and still have not heard back from them three weeks later.

I purchased this back in the end of February 1924. I have had nothing but issues with Wi-Fi connectivity from day one. I have tried to use Linksys help and it has gotten me nowhere. It is complete trash. Wi-Fi will be working and showing strong signals yet we do not have the ability to log into the Wi-Fi using the correct passcode. Time and time again it drops the Wi-Fi access on wireless devices. The Eero system I had prior to this was far superior although it was outdated. Stay away from this product.

This is by far the best wifi mesh system that I have had the pleasure of purchasing. The system has survived many power outages and reboots quickly once power is restored. I love the fact that once you set it up it keeps the memory.

We had a concern regarding the system working with metal walls and roofing. Our satellite pods pick up the main router signal with ease and, thus far, we have had tremendous signal quality. Very pleased with the strength of the system.

It's good, but not yet great. Of course, it's super new technology, and in the hands of real folks it's going to take some time for the firmware and software to be put under duress and made robust with patches and updates.
Linksys has been great with previous hardware, so I expect to see improvements come quickly.

Excellent product. Expanded network access in older home won’t no more drops or lagging while streaming on 6+ tvs, 5 phones, tablets, PS5, and laptops. Would give 5 stars but needed to call customer support for an hour plus when I installed new modem from ISP.

Do not buy! I have been a Linksys fan but after having installed this router that is no longer the case. I have 1Gbps Internet and the router continuously drops the connection. I have reset the router and child nodes, I have replaced cables. If I could return this I would. It’s terrible, save yourself the time and money and go with Orbi.

Hi Corngirl,
We understand the importance of a reliable connection, and this is surprising since the Velop Pro 6E is specifically engineered to dynamically adapt routing paths, distribute network resources efficiently, and enhance data transmission for reliable connectivity. To mitigate intermittent connection issues, ensure that the nodes are positioned reasonably close to each other and away from potential obstructions. Please email us at [email protected], so our Escalation Engineers can help investigate the issue and provide a resolution. In your email, kindly include your contact details and link to this review for our reference.

Awful product!
Configuration, performance all sucks.
There's no way to manage the network. The App does not work, and using the website doesn't work either.
Only way to set it up is by reading for an hour to learn the manual botton short cuts, but then you're stuck with the default password, because the app will crash anytime you try to manage your routers.
Thought this was an isolated issue with one of the routers, bought new ones and still had the same issue. Used Android phones, IPhones and my PC. The app nor the web portal would work, essentially creating a security nightmare, because you won't be able to manage the passwords and who has access so long as people are able to access the bottom of the router.
