    I had to take my desktop all the way back to factory restore (long story), anyways, when I did, i could not get the internet connected to my desktop (another long story), so, I called Linsky's & they patched me through to god knows who ,trying to set it up through my desktop for like $199.99, so, I went to best buy & order one of theses USB adapters & it has worked just great!!!!!

    Bought in lieu of a wireless card for a six-year-old dektop located across house from Comcast modem/hub. It's a fairly tough test, but it gives reasonable service. Almost daily it loses the connection but regains it if I remove it and plug it back in. This could be a result of weak signal strength coming in, so I‘m rating the connection as "reliable."
