The jitterbug flip is not a total flop. It does lack in features and lacks in promised oversight/security for the actual user of the product. Especially from a parent overlooking a child or a guardian overseeing someone older they are responsible for.

This would be a great phone for Seniors or anyone wanting a simple phone BUT its missing one key feature. The Lively flip, the newest model as of today with the light gray keyboard Dec. 2020, does NOT have speed dial. My senior is legally blind and i usually program my number where all they should have to do is press and hold #5 or #5 and send because the #5 has a raised dot and easy to find. with this phone now it is a five step process just to make a call, Very confusing. Also the the Flashlight and magnifier do not work together and are also hard to navigate to. the flashlight should have a dedicated button. Otherwise the phone is a good size ,Display is good and the keyboard is much better then the previous black keyboard. The ringer and volume could be louder. As much as i wanna like this phone i can Not recommend the lively flip at this time because of the missing one key feature, No Speed Dial. Be careful, the ads tend to hype this phone to be more than what it is.

Simple easy flip phone for my 80 year old mother. Was disappointed that you have to subscribe to an extra service to use the emergency button.

I bought 3 of these as Christmas presents for my daughters so I cannot give a review of their functionality yet but I can tell you about them so far. They are good looking phones, attractive colors, very well made and sturdy. These phones only make and receive calls, take photos, send text messages, so they are ideal for children or seniors. Or perhaps if you are trying to wean yourself off spending too much time on your smart-phone then this is a great choice. They do not take an sim-card and you need to use the app to activate them and then you pay a monthly subscription fee (about $15) and this gives unlimited calls. And they look great with the flip open action. Definitely recommend but I will review their functionality after Christmas.

This was a Lively flip phone upgrade. Was not disappointed! Best Buy service was great!

I purchased this for my 98 year young Mom. Although she was apprehensive, it has been easy for her to use for calls.

Good little phone & simple to use except for texting. Love the simplicity & cost of using the phone. Texting is not so easy for the person I bought it for so he strictly uses the phone.

So far the Jitterbug Flip2 is working great for my 89 year old Mother. Connection is clear, easy to handle.

Pretty easy to use for a non-techie, and could not beat the price anywhere!!!

Good for seniors that need larger numbers, letters on screen. Does the job.

Debated between 3 and 4. compared to other phones it's a 4 but compared to our previous jitterbug it's a 3. We loved that old jitterbug phone it was so simple and easy and I recommended it to so many people. This is really too complicated for his use. We are managing but sure miss the old phone. Which by the way lasted many many years.

Its a good phone for people like me who don't use all the normal features.

This a really neat little phone which will do much more than I expected. I like flip phones, but before have only carried them for emergencies; hardly ever turned them on. I plan to use this one and keep it turned on. The red color makes it easy to find in my purse.

Bought this for my father-in-law (93 yo). good basic flip phone, large buttons, great volume for him (hard of hearing, even with hearing aids). He did not need/want any bells or whistles; it has worked extremely well for him.

I needed a phone inorder to restrict internet access to my 11 year old child and was guided by a store associate to this phone which has been amazing so far. It wqs easy to activate, works great and were 30 days in so far without any hiccups!
