Windows Hello Camera

Had to download the software from Logitech directly which if I didn't know that I had to it wouldn't have worked with Windows Hello. Overall this is the best camera out there.

Had to search internet and YouTube to learn how to set up and use. No software mentioned. Learned from the internet that there was software to control the camera. Logitech should be better than that! Once set up it is great.

The only thing keeping it from more stars is the god awful Logitech Capture software. When its not crashing, you are unable to change the binds all configured on the Alt+ 1-6 keys making it unusable with ANY OTHER APPLICATION ON A WINDOWS COMPUTER. I wouldn't give this camera a negative review if I was able to make any changes to the cameras setting through another application but you are not. Logitech capture is the only app allowed to switch it to HDR or change the resolution.

The laptop's built-in cam failed after years of opening & closing it. The cost is much less than replacing the whole laptop. The Webcam goes over the built-in camera on the screen. It also has a nice hinged cover to black-out the camera for security when not-in-use. On a negative note, this USB Webcam is finicky about being plugged-in. Sometimes, I have to reboot the computer to make it aware of the camera. It also doesn't like all the USB ports on my Lenovo ThinkPad.

I plugged it in and it just worked with Microsoft Teams and Zoom. I cannot speak to the audio quality as I usually use a headset, but the video with back-light compensation works very well (I have a window behind me, but the video still shows my face very well). This was one of the main reasons I opted for this model. It is not cheap, but it works as advertised.
