Headphones are very comfortable, and greta for extensive use when gaming. My last pair of astros would give me a headache when wearing them for an extensive amount of time. And them being wireless is even better. They have a great battery life and games sound amazing on them. Set up was easy enough and straight forward. Only Con i can honestly can think is being more clear that you need an extra HDMI cable and a specific high speed so you can get the best out of the product. But othet than that I am very satisfied with my purchase!!

I just upgraded from the Astro A40's with the mixamp to the wireless Astro A50's and I could not be happier. I can get the same sound quality I've grown to know and love without being limited or inconvenienced by a cord. The bluetooth range is excellent, I can go downstairs to make food or across my house to use the bathroom and still be within range. The wireless charging dock comes in clutch big time. I have never once had this headset die on me, the 24 hour charge goes wild. I leave mine on the dock overnight to charge and I'm good to play as long as I want to the next day. It took me a little while to get familiar with the voice to game ratio on the side but it makes a lot more sense having used it for a couple weeks. My only recommendation, if you are using this with an xbox series x, please purchase an additional hdmi cord that is high quality. They include everything else in the box with your headset but you'll need one from your xbox to your tv (will come with the xbox) and one from the wireless charging dock to the xbox. Setting up the cables was a bit confusing but they offer online tutorials for every console/pc set up you could be using this headset for. This is my first set of wireless headphones by astro and I'm convinced. I was already set on sticking to astro for any future purchases from their sound quality and comfort to wear, but after seeing what this wireless headset can do, I will only be upgrading with the next set of wireless astro upgrades after these become outdated beyond use.

Tbh a very good headset that i would recommend to a gamer whos looking to get abit of quality and comfort. I recieved this headset as a gift from my girlfriend so no arguing from me on that but i do love this headset. I like that it can pretty much switch between different HDMI ports at a button, but at the cost of you needing 3 HDMI cables (to connect to your systems and to the tv of course). It was a bit of a pain to set up but after watching a youtube video on how to set it up, was very VERY helpful. So overall you do need 3 HDMI cables and 2 Usb C to A cables which i thought was disappointing that it didnt come with the headset in the first place seeing how much the headset is. But none of the less i do enjoy the headsets long battery life and the charging stand it comes with. So i would highly recommend this headset to a gamer who is dedicated to put in the hours or just to use for your game nights with the bois.

The Astro A50 X is a solid premium headset that delivers clear and balanced sound without feeling heavy during long sessions. While the price tag is on the higher side, the comfort, audio performance, and build quality make it well worth the investment for anyone seeking a top-tier gaming headset.

Coming from a set of second generation A50s, these are good, but not great for the price-point. I’d do some research and shop around before pulling the trigger on these. The audio is marginally better than my older set, but the truly terrible software issues, lack of support and iffy Bluetooth have me rethinking the purchase. My other sets of Astros were very simple to setup with the Command Center control software used to adjust audio settings and set up sound profiles for different applications. Thats what you would expect from a mid/high tier headset in this category. Setting up the A50x to even work at all was a nightmare. Logitech G-Hub is a step backwards from the more user-friendly Command Center, which itself had crippling issues later on in the Astro lifecycle. I’ve been using Astros for years and I wouldn’t recommend this particular model until they’ve had time to work out the kinks. Wait for a sale or a more stable patch cycle, if anything.

Comfort & Build: The stock ear pads are soft and comfortable, with a good seal, making long gaming sessions easy on the ears. I swapped them for Wicked Cushions pads, which elevate the comfort even further, especially during extended use. The headband is adjustable and sturdy, and the overall build feels premium without being heavy or cumbersome. Sound Quality & Gaming Performance: The soundstage and imaging are phenomenal—easily the best I’ve heard in a gaming headset. In FPS games, I can pinpoint footsteps, gunfire, and other in-game audio cues with impressive accuracy. Music, movies, and general media all sound rich and immersive. The headset handles highs and lows well, and there’s no noticeable distortion even at higher volumes. Microphone: The mic is crystal clear. Friends and teammates consistently comment on how natural and detailed my voice sounds. Whether in competitive gaming or casual chat, it performs exceptionally well. Software & Features: The Astro Command Center software works seamlessly. Customizing EQ, Dolby settings, and other preferences is intuitive and stable—no crashes or glitches to report. Overall Experience: For something I wear daily, whether for gaming or media, the A50 X has been reliable, high-quality, and comfortable. The combination of excellent sound, top-tier mic, solid wireless performance, and convenient base station charging makes this headset a standout. Pretty good and versatile and in my opinion well worth the price. Sounds amazing, super clear and connects super fast just by turning them on. On the previous A-50’s one of the main problems I had with the Xbox was connecting them to use it, most occasions I’d have to reset and unplug the base station and connect to the headphones to the base stations multiple times just to get them to even work. Since this is made specifically for Xbox, it works flawlessly with the Xbox and it’s very nice that you’re able to connect and use multiple different platforms with it and switch between them with the click of a button but one issue I’ve had is that it will take multiple tries to get it to show anything with the ps5, on Xbox it’ll show picture while switching 100% of the time. App is okay, adds little customization and the ability to change the way it sounds and frequency’s to your preference but the app has a very long boot up intro, and having to connect it every time to the headset every time you want to use the app sucks, better off without the app. If you use a high end HDMI to the TV, it definitely makes a big difference resolution and sound wise so that is recommended, way better than when I had the Xbox and ps5 connected individually to separate HDMI ports although on setup it can be a little confusing and you need to have your own additional USB C cords on hand in order to connect other devices just so you know, in the box only 1 is included. For the price, I recommend it.

Bought the A50x as I have owned every generation of the A50 thus far and always enjoyed them. I have shyed away from Astro though in recent years to try other brands. The A50x was a iffy purchase for me not just because of its price but the horror stories online of it not working with certain monitors and or TV's. Also requiring a ton of cables for setup. I have a relatively clean minimalist setup and that really made me think long and hard. Ended up getting a set of the black model anyhow. Yes there are quite a few cables required for setup. I only have it connected to my PS5 and still have 4 cables coming out of the base station just to set it up properly. Also take into consideration that you will need to purchase an additional HDMI 2.1 cable as none are included and you need 2 for setup. I bought a 4ft Rocketfish 2.1 certified from Best Buy as well and it works perfectly. My monitor is the Asus Rog PG27AQDM OLED panel and i was nervous with it since I have read of issues with certain LG monitors and TV's and my Asus uses a modified LG panel. I either lucked out or my A50 base station has a new firmware as everything works perfectly just as it did prior to the A50. Some people have claimed their colors are duller or whatever but i have zero changes to my image quality. The A50 itself is just as comfortable as they have always been. Im debating on buying a set of Wicked Cushions for it but im not sure yet as the stock earpads are very nice. Sound is great to me right out of the box and my microphone comes across crystal clear according to those i have played with. Honestly very impressed with what Logitech has done with the A50. I mainly play shooters and its super easy to pinpoint enemies and other details with this headset

Pros: Excellent sound quality Excellent battery life Easily connect to multiple devices, including Bluetooth music or phone calls from your phone overlapped Xbox or PS5 audio. Cons: Headset decides when it wants to include users microphone audio. Often need to reset device to get system to recognize microphone output. Can be frustrating, looking forward to software update to fix this issue soon. Worth the money, enjoy.

Nice headset, lightweight, sounds great, and comfortable on my head

I’m a Gamer and I’ve been using the Astro A50 X LIGHTSPEED Wireless Headset for a while now, and honestly, it’s one of the best upgrades I’ve made for gaming. The sound quality is incredible—everything comes through so clearly, from quiet footsteps in shooters to booming explosions in action games. The bass is deep, but it doesn’t overpower the mids and highs, so you get a really balanced and immersive experience. One of my favorite features is the PLAYSYNC button, which makes switching between my Xbox, PlayStation, and PC unbelievably simple. I have the gen 4 Astro a50 and I must say the new A50x are lighterand better the mic is flexible and durable hdmi cord is sold separately but I also like the hdmi feature you can switch from ps5 Xbox or pc by pressing a button on the headset pretty cool headset I recommend for hardcore gamers

When I was scrolling on Google to find what gaming headset I wanted, I saw these and I just loved the way they looked. But when I HEARD THE SOUND QUALITY!!! I was just completely blown Away!!!

i love this headset, you can connect your phone via bluetooth and have 2 consoles hooked up to the base and its easy to use and an easy set up! i wouod reccommend getting this headset to anyone whos asking for a top of the line gaming headset. call of duty is next oevel with the headset you can hear all the footsteps and gunfire from every direction, pure legitness.

Had these for almost a full year and have to say I love this headset. Comes with its own charging stand charge. Also for the fact i can switch to PC or Xbox with a push of a button

This headset is perfect if you game at a desk using a monitor. Because the stand is a HDMI switcher it’s not practical for a lot of living room TV applications. The HDMI switcher works phenomenally. I have both a Xbox Series X and PS5 and it seamlessly switches the video and audio feeds. The chat mixer is a little weird to adjust mid multi-player match. Sound quality is great and the microphone is amazing. If you have a desk gaming setup with multiple consoles 10/10 highly recommend.

Amazing headset, not to tight on the head, nice mic, a little troubling for pc honestly, sometimes the audio messes up but I got it fixed now

Had the A40s forever. They didn’t even break, I just lost wires after several moves, and decided to just get a new headset. Love the quality of Astros, so I got the A50’s, and they don’t disappoint.
