These are comfy and fit well. Battery is good. But one cuts out sometimes.

Quality was Meh, not the greatest. Returned it for another one

This camera is not technically intended for use with an Apple Mac computer. It does not come with any Logitech software that works on a Mac. However, the camera is recognized by the Mac Yosemite operating system and works great with both Skype and FaceTime on my 2009 Mac Mini computer. Using the Apple Photo Booth software, you can take a good selfie picture. Using the Apple QuickTime player software allows you to make a basic movie. Using the Logitech Camera Settings app (available for free from the Apple App Store) you can make basic adjustments, such as color changes and turning manual focus on and off. This app also includes basic pan and zoom controls. I usually just leave everything at the default settings. Again, this software does not come with the camera and I could not find it on Logitech's website. I had to download it through the Apple App store. I recently used the camera to talk to a colleague in the Netherlands using Skype and couldn't have been happier. The video and audio quality is quite good and way better than that of my old webcam. The colors look very natural. The only problem that I experienced was a complaint of echoing. I solved this problem by turning down the camera microphone input volume (in the Apple System Preferences > Sound menu). After I did this, my friends said that I sounded fine. The echo was gone and they had no trouble hearing me. I could have spent more money but there was really no reason to do so for my needs. You may have a little bit more control if you purchase one of the Logitech models which is technically Mac compatible. But for me, having a camera with above average audio and video at an affordable price was more important. Again, the built-in Mac system software recognizes the camera and turns it on when you are in the applications that I've described. It is necessary to tell certain applications to connect to the camera (via built in menus) the first time the camera is used. But once that is done, you need not do it again. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

Bought as a gift for my son he seems to be happy with it

I had originally been using this with a 2015 macbook pro that had USB A ports and for a while it worked fine. After a few updates to OS X though it suddenly stopped working. I tried updating the logitech software, installing additional software available on the logitech site, and nothing works. I even tried connecting it to my work laptop and no luck there. At some point Logitech stopped supporting OS X or vice versa for this camera. Either way don't buy it unless you have a PC as that seems to be the only operating system they focus on.

This camera works OK, but I think there are better cameras available.

This Logitech cam is really good, and easy to install

A quick search on the Internet reveals numerous reports of blue screens caused by one of the device drivers used byt the camera. However, Logitech doesn't seem to care and have not upgraded the software since 2012! Use at your own risk

This camera will not work with new PC skype version and that is the only purpose I bought it for. Please read many reviews online before purchasing this camera for skype use.

The camera focusing is so loud that everytime you move and it refocuses you can hear it audibly in your stream. If you are using this to record sessions it's not worth it.

Practically no functionality in Windows 8.1. I'll hopefully know better when I switch back to 7.0.

I got this webcam to make videos for YouTube as well as when I'm streaming game footage. It is a plug and play webcam that work pretty decent with the windows drivers. Sure it had a bit a lag using the windows drivers. Which was fixed by adding the drivers from Logitech and now it works flawlessly. This webcam is definitely worth picking up if you need a webcam and on a budget like me.

I used this camera on my Surface Pro 4 and it was absolutely terrible. I have the i7 model with 16GB of RAM and the video was choppy, and the interface for the software was unusually small. The buttons were difficult to read and click on. I returned this after about a week, it was worse than the front facing camera that's already on the front of the Surface.

This product I’m sure will be great for someone else. Just not me.
