I am not a techie and was worried about this product connecting up with my laptop. Shouldn't have been. For me this was plug and play. Probably the easiest setup with a computer add-on that I have ever experienced. Works great too! Used it to communicate with family over Skype and everything worked first time out of the box. Great product and would strongly recommend it.

There is no information about it compatibility on the box, neither in website, you only dicover after buy it. You need a webcam in Mac mini and docking station, but if you use Mac do not buy it

Purchased this a few weeks ago and am loving it so far. It was true plug and play. Straight out of the package, my mac mini, macbook pro, macbook air and imac all recognized the device without any hiccups. The image is very sharp and clear and the mic matches that clarity.It's also a nice compact unit that you can fold up and carry around with you.

I just bought this webcam today and this webcam works really great and i have used it in a video call to my friends and my friends say i got a great webcam with 1080 full hd which is great to have when you buy an expensive webcam and for the price its worth buying it for any computer and can be used anywhere at any time which is fantastic.

The people we FaceTime with all have an echo when we use this device. Logitech blames Apple. They should have developed the product to work properly with Apple or clearly stated that it does not. I will be returning the webcam.

Bought once-didn't work, returned for exchange still didn't work so I took to computer repair/analysis shop and they had it for days.They said it should work but couldn't find anything wrong w my computer-thus the camera didn't work. Returned for a refund.

Simple to install: Just plug it in a USB port, download & install the software, and that's all there is to it. Great quality in terms of both picture and sound

Wait a little while if you have the new Windows 10 anniversary edition on your computer. They still haven't put out an update for the camera. The camera part isn't working correctly yet. Only the microphone works right now.

Camera was easy to set up, it works off our wireless therefore only the HDMI cord and the power plug, A plus for easy, it took a few moments to learn how to use the key board but once we learned it's a breeze to set up an account with Google TV, it's like Skype, only better and it's free. We love it, we use the cameral on are plasma to speak with our daughter away at college, it's like were in the same room together. The picture, and sound is just amazing. We love it and show it off to all are friends and family. Worth every penny.

The description states that this device is compatible with a MacBook Pro. I'm returning it today because as Maury says, "That was a lie".

I decided to go with this based on the reviews of the video quality and I have not been disappointed. I could not be more happy with the quality of the video. The audio is not terrible, but it certainly is not great. This was not a concern for me as I have a separate microphone. If you are looking to use this for basic Skype calls, etc. the mic should certainly be sufficient. If you are into producing YouTube videos or something more professional, a separate mic is highly recommended. For my purposes, it is 5 stars as it is providing what I bought it for. I just wanted to mention the audio piece for those who may be concerned.

This performed poor at best. My front facing camera on my iPhone works much better. Look elsewhere if you are in a dim light room. Very grainy picture.

I hoped to add this to my convertible notebook for better photo taking. It’s designed only for subjects being near the camera.

I love this webcam. I upgraded my 11 year old camera for this one and WOW what a difference. Setup and installation was a breeze. I did considerable research before purchasing this camera and I have not been disappointed. Windows 10 automatically recognized and configured this device. I had it out of the box and up and running in less than 10 minutes (most of that was opening the box). Video and audio are fantastic. We Skype with grandkids (and their parents) every week and each of them have commented in the vast improvement. I highly recommend this webcam.

I’ve waited awhile, tried different lighting, this camera isn’t worth the money. Look elsewhere

This camera offers up 1080p video streaming for the first time over Skype thanks to the built in hardware compression which takes the burden off of your CPU during streaming. This means that you can stream at HD resolutions on older, slower computers that others could not. The video quality is crisp and clear thanks to the Carl Zeiss lens and the full 1080p HD resolution. Sound is clear and in stereo due to 2 separate microphones. The unit tilts up and down but unfortunately does not swivel left to right, however the face tracking on the device takes care of slight left to right adjustments on its own. The build feels rugged and should last most individuals a long time with no problems. The mount holds the camera solid to most surfaces and also feels solid with no worries of falling off. Also works with Logitech Vid HD software, yahoo messenger, live messenger, Facebook and more.

Just stopped working. Had it 6 months. What a waste of money

I did a side-by-side video comparison with the previous and this new one was actually worse.... :(

Has been nothing but trouble since I bought it. Would not reccomend at all.

It worked for a few weeks - just long enough for the return date to pass - and then died on me.
