The auto-focus, wide angle and image clarity are first rate. (For advanced functions Logitech offers additional models and software at a higher price.) This unit was good enough to incorporate as an accessory into a scanner for use in the operating room during surgery.

Nice high resolution webcam option

Glad it has a universal size adapter screw hole so it can mount on any regular tripod, big or small since the monitor clip option that is ubiquitous on these devices I find to be pretty useless and obviously leaves very little room for adjustment. Having manual control over focus, lighting, and zoom (to some degree) through software is a definite plus. Sound pickup on this is surprisingly good. A decent backup source if you're recording a pod cast or youtube vid.

Awesome Webcam

Very easy controls with the downloadable software, excellent picture quality, and very accessible for video production. I use it for making gaming videos and it's perfect.

I got a pretty good deal on it.
