I bought my husband a new iPad air 11 inch and he needed the keyboard to go with it. This works perfectly and pair is very nicely.

I had my doubts about this keyboard compared to the Apple keyboard but I’m glad I bought this one. I don’t even need to charge it! It works perfectly like Apple made it themselves.

Bought this for my fiance and it’s been a better experience than with their Mac book. Lots of fun and at a great price. Helping us plan our wedding right now!

## Design The Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard Case is a good alternative to Apple’s Magic Keyboard if you’re looking for something that provides protection to the iPad when it is detached and used away from the keyboard. The Logitech Combo Touch case provides protection for the back and 3 sides of the iPad (part of one side is exposed so as to not hinder the magnetic attachment of the Apple Pencil. The case (and keyboard) will add about 1 pound to your iPad Air. It definitely takes the “Air” out of the iPad Air by making it bulkier, but in exchange for the bulk, you get added protection for your iPad as well as a kickstand on the back so you can prop up your iPad with or without the keyboard attached. This makes it great watching a movie or YouTube video as the iPad can stand on its own. While the design of the Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard Case is great for working at a desk, it’s less ideal than the Magic Keyboard for setting on your lap. The Logitech keyboard requires more space in order for the kickstand to prop up the display, making it somewhat awkward for lap use. ## Performance The Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard Case is powered by the iPad and does not require separate charging. Upon initial connection, the iPad will prompt you to install the Logitech app, which will check for and install any available firmware updates for the keyboard. The keyboard is similar to a laptop keyboard and is comfortable to type on. Although the keyboard is thin and has some flex, it still feels sturdy. The keyboard has an adjustable backlight for late night typing sessions. There are additional keys at the top for dictation, screenshots, volume, brightness, and media controls. The magnetic attraction of the keyboard cover keeps it closed (and the screen protected) when the iPad is not in use. Your iPad will also automatically lock when the keyboard is closed over the screen. The perimeter of the Logitech case keeps the keys of the keyboard from touching the screen of your iPad, even with a screen protector installed. My only gripe is that opening the case (both the keyboard cover and kickstand) can be a little tricky. I find it best to use the cutout for the Touch ID in order to get your finger under the keyboard cover to open it. The kickstand on the back is also a little tricky to open. It hangs over the bottom of the unit just slightly, but it's enough to get your fingernail under in order to pull it out. ## Summary The Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard case for iPad offers several benefits over the Magic Keyboard: protection for the iPad when detached from the keyboard and a built-in kickstand to prop up the iPad independently. The keyboard is backlit and comfortable to type on. The case adds about a pound of bulk to the iPad Air, but it does give you extra protection.

With the right accessories, you can easily turn your iPad into a full laptop replacement. Logitech has many iPad accessories, and I have been extremely impressed with the features and functionality of the Logitech Combo Touch. It is a great option for anyone wanting a case and keyboard combo for their iPad Air. Installation is simple: you place the iPad into the case and snap the magnetic keyboard into place. The most difficult part is making sure you have the right case for your device. I have the Combo Touch for the iPad Air 5th Gen (2024 model). After snapping the iPad into the case, I did get a prompt for an app download, but I could not tell that the app really did anything. Experience: As a case, this is a thick and sturdy case. Users should know that the bundle does add some heft and weight to the light iPad Air, but I never thought it made the tablet excessively heavy. Typing experience is good. Keys had good response. Keys are well lit. Touchpad is surprisingly big and is clicky and responsive. There was not any significant delay with either typing or presses with the touchpad. I love the included kickstand which was sturdy enough to allow me to sketch with my Logitech Crayon (sold separately). One of my concerns was what the battery drain would be like, but I have not noticed any significant battery drain. Conclusion: I really like this keyboard and case. I really have no qualms with it. Everything has been simple to use and has worked well. This is a solid case. It is thick and sturdy. It adds some weight to the iPad Air, but that trade off is worth it for the impressive keyboard and touchpad. If you are looking to add a keyboard and touchpad to your iPad, I would highly recommend the Logitech Combo Touch. 5/5

Real nice keyboard and case combo. Its a real nice alternative to the official one. It does add some girt to your iPad. Once I installed my iPad air felt chunkier however not as much, but it does give me confidence that its very well protected now. The cutouts for the speakers, charging port etc. are very well done and fit perfectly without any issues. Once I inserted my iPad it detected and installed the Logitech app and updated its system. I like that the keyboard is powered directly by the iPad and there is no need of extra charging cables for it, very convenient. Performance was good and the keyboard was very responsive and the touchpad too, to me it felt kind of like any regular laptop's keyboard/touchpad, plus the keyboard has a nice backlight for typing at night (you can regulate the brightness). If you close the flap/keyboard it will put the iPad automatically to sleep/lock. The best feature for me was that you can actually detach the keyboard from the iPad and use it in tablet mode and the case still protects it, it also has a nice and sturdy kickstand so I could watch movies in portrait mode. THIS… Is the Logitech Combo Touch, a nifty case/keyboard/trackpad combo that I have honestly quickly fallen in love with. I was skeptical with the trackpad and the way that it would integrate with the flow of the iPad and honestly…if you are only going to use your laptop for multimedia use then this is honestly the best path forward. The mousepad works great on almost all applications where it makes sense, and genuinely turns my iPad into a laptop while also being the size of a laptops which was really nice to not have to adjust to a small trackpad. The key switches are also really nice for such a slim profile, allowing a nice press and click without being over the top. I do have a bone to pick with the backlighting or really how much it doesn’t light up. In the dark it does the job, however, I am left wanting a little but more. That being said, the trackpad and keys are all being powered by iPad and not a dedicated battery… so there are power limits. I find that the gray color that I got the case in hides most dirt/wear pretty well, and to the touch I am really impressed with how well built it feels while not adding too much heft. Speaking of heft, this case/combo only weighs about 16oz which honestly in the hands isn't too bad. One of my favorite parts about the case was the adjustable built in kickstand! I am not the biggest fan of where I have to put my fingers to get it to pop out, but once it is kicked out, it is really nice and moderately adjustable even when it is resting on my lap. Another cool feature I enjoyed was being able to take the keyboard off and just use the iPad for iPad activities rather seamlessly. I really found that this keyboard skyrocketed productivity on my iPad and kept me using it more and more often, and even when I wasn't using the keyboard, just having a kickstand all the time is awesome. From build quality to functionality I think Logitech has really hit this one out of the park, and even though I have a few things that could be better, at this price it is really hard to argue that this isn’t the best case. I used this on my 5th gen iPad air, so you can rest assured that this fits more than just the M4 iPad's!

I've been through a few Keyboard Cases for my iPad, but this Logitech - Combo Touch Keyboard Case for iPad is hands down the best for me yet. The case will work with iPad Air 5 through most of the iPad Pro 11's with M chips. I have honestly NEVER been disappointed by anything I've ever gotten from Logitech! The case comes well packaged and protected during shipping and it's simply the easiest case I've ever connected to my iPad. When I attached it to my iPad, it immediately asked me to install the Logitech app and took me to the App Store to do so. As soon as I opened the app, it told me an update was available and downloaded the update in a couple minutes. From there, you're ready to use it. It's honestly that simple. This a two piece case, which includes a detachable keyboard and case for your iPad. It NEVER needs to be charged (ala Apple Magic Keyboard) as it draws its power for the keyboard from the back of your iPad, which then powers the keyboard when the keyboard is attached magnetically to the case part your iPad is in. There is a convenient cutout in the case to keep your Apple Pencil attached and charging. And the back of the iPad case, has an infinitely adjustable kickstand to permit viewing in just about any angle you prefer. It's great to be able to easily attach the keyboard when you want to type. And it's great to be able to detach the keyboard easily when you just want to use your iPad as a table. Previous cases from Logitech had a fabric covering on the keyboard, but this newest case is plastic, so it should be more a quick wipe with a damp cloth will keep it clean. The keyboard is the star of the show. The keys have excellent travel and perfectly clicky for an easy typing experience. They are spaced perfectly and feel great to type with. The keyboard is also backlit and the backlighting is adjustable in intensity. The trackpad is excellent and Apple gestures work perfectly. There is literally NOTHING about this Logitech -Combo Touch Keyboard Case I don't like. It's well made as you would expect from Logitech. It's very lightweight, but truly protective. It's super flexible in how you might use your iPad as a tablet, or as a keyboard when you want a keyboard. The trackpad is perfect and super easy to use. It's honestly pretty perfect, if you ask me!

I'll start with the good. The keys were decent, the backlight is very appreciated. The trackpad was as big as I could hope for on a keyboard like this and handled gestures perfectly fine. The kickstand's adjustability felt great, and the magnets holding the keyboard to the case were strong. However, I ended up returning this product after about a week. Despite supporting gestures, the trackpad really was an incredibly poor experience compared to my macbook. It's simply not very precise, which really sucks on a smaller screen and iPadOS 26. The keyboard also feels incredibly cheap. The surface feels like it would quickly wear down, and it doesn't feel like something I'd want to put in my bag unprotected. The case is also absurdly heavy. I have an 11 inch iPad Air, and a 13 inch Macbook Air. With this case my iPad is nearly as heavy as my full macbook, while being significantly thicker as well. Everything on the case just feels like they cut corners. If this thing was 70$, I could look at it and still feel like it was cheap, but it would be understandable. However, at this price it just doesn't feel worth it. This case cheapens an otherwise premium experience and feels like an absolute joke next to my laptop. I decided to simply carry my laptop more often, rather than keep this case.

I really like this keyboard case. The detachable keyboard is one of my favorite features because it gives me flexibility depending on how I'm using my iPad. The case itself protects the iPad whether the keyboard is attached or not, and it provides good protection when closed as well. The keyboard is comfortable to type on, making it easy to use for longer periods. Overall, it's a well-designed product that offers both protection and functionality, and I'm very happy with my purchase.

For my last iPad, I got a folio case from Logitech. It also has a keyboard, but the Combo case has a detachable keyboard. The keyboard function is basically the same for both. The differences are this one leaves you with clean camera access when the iPad is solely a tablet. While it’s only been a few times so far that I’ve used the back camera, it’s nice not to have to worry about getting in the way of the lens and having the keyboard hanging down. They keyboard is on the smaller side for a touch typist, but the keys are have a very nice feel to them. There’s nearly the same amount of travel as on Logitech’s full size keyboard, which is impressive for such a flat device. The backlighting is unobtrusive, but useful in the evening or a dim room, if I’m writing email while I’m watching TV. The keyboard has volume controls, a screen capture button, and a Siri button. All are useful from time to time for jumping straight to what I want to use the tablet for. Dedicated media keys are also useful if I’m watching something on the tablet itself, then need to skip ahead or back. Nearly all the keyboard shortcuts on a Mac are present on the iPad with this keyboard, too. This makes it a nice substitute catching up on lite work during a plane trip or a long weekend, eliminating the need to bring a laptop. The one thing I miss from the folio case is the strap which goes around my Apple Pencil. The Pencil attached to my iPad Air magnetically, which is terrific. However, there’s nothing keeping it from being knocked off the iPad while it’s in my backpack, unlike the folio. So far, the extra convenience of removing the keyboard has outweighed the occasions I’ve fished my Pencil from the bottom of the bag. While you can’t go wrong with either, I’d give the Combo a slight edge on functionality, given the nominal price difference.

Good keyboard case. It's compact, and the keyboard with trackpad are a responsive and reliable. Also, the keyboard is magnetic, removable or reversible (to remain attached but not active).

This Logitech keyboard case fits my Air perfectly and converts it into a mini laptop style form factor. The two-piece case attaches snug and the two pieces connect together magnetically leaving space for an Apple pencil. The keyboard is Mac keyed, connects wirelessly to the iPad and doesn’t require any formal setup or Bluetooth pairing. The Logitech companion app does use Bluetooth for transmitting keyboard firmware updates. I simply snapped the case onto my Air and was instantly ready to go. It’s as plug and play as it gets. All ports and openings line up perfectly and provide easy access. Typing is effortless on the backlit keys. Despite the limited key travel compared to standard keyboards, typing feels natural and isn’t prone to errors. Same with the trackpad. It works well, has multifunction gestures and can be used in conjunction with the touchscreen. When the hardware keyboard is attached, the onscreen keyboard doesn’t usually appear. The case doesn’t add too much extra weight. It is actually lighter than the thick, magnetic, non-keyboard case that preceded it. The case texture has a nice feel and isn’t prone to being easily soiled. It does nick and scratch rather easily however. We got a small gash in the material simply from daily commuting a few days. We’re safe with the tablet on most occasions, but small bumps and scrapes do occur with normal use. Even if we’re trying to be safe. At a price point significantly less expensive than the OEM option, this Logitech combo keyboard case is all I need or would feel compelled to purchase. It’s manufactured by a trusted major brand, looks and works great and is available at a decent price. It adds some tolerable extra weight, but depending on the style of any existing iPad case, it may not necessarily be heavier. It isn’t in my instance.

This Logitech Combo Touch for iPad Air 11” M2 is an excellent accessory to have for your iPad Air. It turns it into a laptop with all the Apple applications. The keyboard is super easy to use and works great. Setup was super easy. All I had to do was download an application from the App Store, that was free. It’s the LogitechControl App that’s the keyboard controller. The keyboard attaches to the iPad Air 11 (M2) after you put it in the case. Keyboard: it’s a full size keyboard that feels great to type on. The keys are far enough apart that even fat fingers don’t cause a lot of mistakes. The keyboard is also backlit, so you can use it day or night. A backlit keyboard is a plus for me. The touchpad is big, and is a multi-touch touchpad. You can swipe, pinch, click, double tap, and anything you would do on a regular multi-touch touchpad. The case is protective and has all the ports open. It also has a stand on it to prop up your iPad Air 11 (M2). The entire combo touch case with keyboard is pretty thin and sturdy. It’s easy to take with you anywhere. Shortcut keys. There are 8 shortcut keys. The purpose of each one is: 1- Home Screen- you can double tap to open the multitask screen 2- Screen Brightness- adjust it up or down 3- Backlight Brightness- adjust it up or down 4- Dictation- long press for Siri 5- Screen Capture 6- Media Controls- back, play - pause, forward 7- Volume- mute, up, down 8- Do Not Disturb Modes- There are 4 modes. Type, Sketch, Watch, Read Summary This is exactly what I was wanting, but didn’t know it. I have used my iPad Air 11 (M2), more since I have gotten this. I absolutely love it!!

Keyboard and track pad are easy to use. Heavier than I thought, which I hope translates into better protection. Keyboard makes it harder to use device in a more casual setting for reading in a place with no way to put in an upright setting, but definitely makes it easier for messaging.

As for the product itself, the keyboard case fully met my expectations. It feels robust and well built, yet remains easy and intuitive to use. The keyboard has a smooth, comfortable typing experience, is easy to detach from the iPad, and the folding design with the built-in kickstand allows the iPad to be positioned just like a notebook. I recently replaced my old broken Ipad Air with the newest 11inch M2 Ipad Air. I use my Ipad also for work and prefer to use it when I travel because I can use Microsoft Teams and Outlook for work in addition to all my personal stuff. I really wanted a good keyboard cover, so I opted for the Logitech Combo Touch, they have a version out for my newest Ipad Air, 11inch so I got it. I have been thrilled with this! It protects my ipad as well or better than the other two just plain cases that I had gotten. The keyboard is smooth and effortless to use. Key placement and responsiveness is superior to previous keyboard combos that I used with my older Ipad. I love the backlit for it as well. The case is made really well and keyboard pops off if you need it to, leaving a solid protective back. Overall, I really love this Logitech Combo, the back of the case has the usual prop to pull it out and prop it up. I love this because now for work, I can have a great keyboard for my ipad, effectively giving me the same functionality as my laptop. Now, I don’t have to travel with two laptops. This is a high-quality combo, believe me, I have used other no name brands before and they are not worth it, this one is.
