We had a similar case for our Pro which made deciding to buy this for the Air a no-brainer.

Lasted just over a year before it began to warp. The warped areas press against the buttons and causes the iPad to reboot.

It works really good and was well worth the money. I like it more than the official Apple Magic Floating Keyboard. It's small and feels really good and is made of good quality.

Magnetic mount locks reliably but can also be readily removed. The keyboard works great and I have had no issues with it. To be honest, I use it more without the keyboard attached, and it works great as a tablet case.

Good, but no so great after 7 months

However, 7 months into owning it, the keyboard side separated at the hinge point and slowly broke off rendering the keyboard unusable. Sure, it was cheaper than an Apple keyboard, but now I am having to purchase ANOTHER case w/ keyboard. For those who may ask how often I use this, my answer would be 3-4 times per week max. Very limited use.

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.case is pretty good. wish case included a simple flap cover for when you want screen protection but dont need the keyboard. biggest gripe is that the plastic that wraps the bezel has gotten all stretched out of shape around the speaker holes because it loses some structural support by having to bridge over the speaker opening. i wish i had thought to make a claim while it was still under warranty. now my ipad is 2 years old, still has plenty of life in it but now my case is near end of life and i’ll have to think long and hard if its worth dropping another $200 for a new case on an old ipad.

However, it took 4 attempts to contact customer service, one being an agent who disconnected the chat and the other one putting in doubt that I had not received the package stating it was delivered in Oklahoma…. when I’M IN TEXAS!! The last 2 agents I spoke to were very nice and solved my problem. Overall it took 10 more days for me to receive the keyboard and lost several days of work because of this logistics problem on Best Buy’s side. Setting this huge inconvenience aside, the product has been really good so far. Great alternative if you don’t want to buy a computer and already have an iPad.
