Poor quality not worth the $30 saving.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you don't want a headache after using it for a few months, spend $30 more dollars to get an apple pen. This pencil is a troublesome. It will stop working at some point. Considering the difference in price between apple pencil and this one, this pencil is not worth buying.

Good alternative for an Apple Pencil
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Doesn’t have the pressure-sensitive capability of the Apple Pencil, but subtlety of a stroke is not one of my concerns. It connects instantly and works the way it should. The shape is a stitch awkward at first, but it only took a couple days to find a comfortable way to hold it. Now I don’t notice the shape at all. Only bit I wish they all would do is cling with the magnet and charge that way, but at least it’s a usb c so I don’t need another cord to charge it. Charge lasts about two days of taking notes pretty much non stop.

Better value and than Apple Pencil
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you need the Apple Pencil 1 pressure sensitivity for sketching, this isn't for you. If you're the 99% that wants a stylus for notes, quick drawing or easily navigating an iPad, this is definitely the choice. Not a big fan of the color but I do like the flat design so it doesn't roll off a table. LED shows the power level and it charges easily with lighting cable. This thing works perfectly with an iPad mini 5 and there' no syncing. Just turn on and you're good to go. Game changer using a tablet and highly recommend you get one if you use the iPad.

Not bad
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Here is what you all should know, if you don’t need the pressure sensitivity then don’t buy the Apple Pencil, if you have a tendency to drop things then it is settled. Buy this device. I have two things that I would have preferred to see on this pencils from Logitech. 1. Offer more color options for people, this has been out for over a year. Either sell accessories to change the colors or offer buyers options. I know they sell a grey version on their website and on the Apple website. Just give people the option you know. 2. Replace the lighting charger for USB-C. I mean this to me can make this thinner, perhaps thin enough to so add a small magnet to the inside and take advantage of the iPad Pro? They could take a page from the new surface pen and that would take this to the next level. 3. Can they make it smaller? I don’t understand why companies have not been able to get these pens smaller and more in line with what we we have all used for 15+ years. I would like to see something like the new surface pen. I think that is a great size, weight, and feel. All in all, this is great value for the money. This is awesome for two main reasons: 1. It can lay flat and not roll unlike the 1st generation Apple Pencil. 2. It automatically turns off and saves battery. That is genius!

a great alternative to the apple pencil
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Short statement. Fantastic battery life, I highly recommend using it with Procreate, feels soild and well built. In my short time of owning it I have to say it is crazy easy to use. Just turn it on and get to work. Charging it is simple as lift the orange rubber tip and plug in an lightning cord to charge. Battery life is will last between a week or hours depending on usage. The pressure system of how you hold the crayon to determine how thin or thick it draws, requires some getting used too. It works beautifully with Procreate. I did find out Autodesk sketchbook and another program, i can't remember the name of at this time, didn't work well with this. Sketchbook automatically set it to the weakest pressure no matter how I was holding it. The other app kept thinking it was disconnected.

Works GREAT... But....
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really do like the way this Logitech Crayon works. I don't miss the pressure-sensitive tip that my apple pencil had. Had... because in less than a year and not to overly used... it just stopped functioning. I'm really happy with the Crayon and always a plus when I can save about $50+ as well! And LOVE that you don't have to pair this with your device!! The only thing I do miss is being able to see the percentage of battery life it has. I was in a meeting last week and the Crayon died on me during the meeting. Had I been able to see the percentage pop up on my iPad prior to the meeting, I may have been able to plug it in for enough of a charge to get me through the meeting.

Works well. Feels good in hand.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the Logitech Crayon for several weeks and it has worked well each time I have used it. I purchased it to work with an iPad Mini (2019). I chose this over the Apple pencil primarily for cost, but also because the charging method seemed to be nicer. Having it plug into the same cord that I use to charge my other iDevices is handy. The shape is also quite nice, more like a carpenter’s pencil, and it is very comfortable to hold. The one issue about the shape is that it does not fit well in the pencil holder built into my Otterbox Defender case for the iPad Mini. In the few weeks I have owned the iPad and Crayon, I have used the Crayon to capture my handwriting in Nebo MyScript, color a bit in a coloring book app, and to do some sketching. In all cases I was pleased with the results. I am not an artist, so I am not sure if the lack of pressure sensitivity is an issue. Changing the line width by tipping seemed fine to me. All in all, I am quite pleased with the product and would likely purchase it again.

Love It!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wasn’t sure about buying the Crayon, but bought it anyway. Glad I did. Find that I like using it if I’m on the iPad for a while. Like using it more than I thought I would. Design, feel, function all good. The Logitech keyboard cover has a holder built into it. The Crayon would be a pain to keep up with without the holder. Tried out the Apple Pencil at Best Buy after using Crayon for a week. Like the Crayon better. Crayon is not pressure sensitive, but I don’t use that and it only worked in pencil mode. It doesn’t work in ink mode. I Like the rubber cover to keep the charging port clean and that it can be charged with cables. Don’t like that the Apple one only plugs into iPad to charge. Wish I could turn it off when I’m finished. It turns itself off after inactivity, supposedly.

Better than the Apple Pencil!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this after losing my Apple Pencil. I love it! It's easy to easy, charges with my iPhone charger and it's easier to hold than the Apple Pencil. Charge holds for over a week with moderate use.

Good deal
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the gen 1 Apple Pencil, I paid HALF the price for this “Crayon” & it does basically the SAME thing!!!! Looks great, works great, awesome that it doesn’t charge by sticking out the end of my Ipad like my Apple Pencil, I recommend it!!!

Works as advertised
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do not like this pencil but it works as advertised. I started with an apple pencil. I loved the apple pencil but it stopped working after a year. If I'd started with this pencil I might feel differently. I'm using a different pencil that I like better, but it's just a preference. Turns out I like my pencils round.

Excellent lower price alternative to Apple Pencil
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this digital pencil for signing PDF documents on my iPad, and my daughter uses it for drawing in the Procreate app. This device works very well; it is very accurate for writing or drawing down to fine detail; it connects easily to my iPad without any hiccups; and I have no complaints about battery life, you just have to remember to charge it occasionally. My only complaint is the oblong shape. This pencil gets uncomfortable to hold for long periods of time. It doesn't have any padding or grip, just cold textured metal that makes my fingertips go numb if I'm using it for extended periods of time. All in all this is a good device and I'm satisfied with my purchase.

The Best Stylus for iPad.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I honestly prefer the Crayon to the Apple Pencil (1st generation), in my experience. Whenever I use the Pencil, it feels very top heavy. It’s not comfortable for me and my grip, which was the main reason I went with the Crayon, because this thing is PERFECTLY weighted! Seriously, it’s so comfortable to use! Plus the cool aluminum is so much more premium than the white plastic. The only thing the Crayon lacks is Pressure Sensitivity. Whenever I use a Pencil at the Apple Store, it requires be to press harder than normal to get my normal stroke (I always write too light). I tried multiple Pencils and got consistent results. The Crayon does not have that problem, and I have yet to say to myself, “gosh, I wish this thing had pressure sensitivity.” For my notes and casual drawing, this is great. I use the Apple Notes app and Pages. IF, you’re an artist 100% invest in the Pencil, I (and I’m assuming most people) wouldn’t know how to take full advantage of it. Plus, some of the ‘higher mileage’ Pencils at my local Apple Store had loose/wiggly tips that felt wonky in use. I’m assuming the cap around the tip on the Crayon fixes this. Basically, if you’re on the fence, I recommend going with the Crayon, it will NOT disappoint. (Oh, and the Crayon doesN’T roll away)

Works great.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just bought the new iPad 6 and wanted to get a pencil to use with it. This works great and is much cheaper than the apple brand. Charges fast and lasts a long time too. Very happy with this purchase.

Excellent product, just not for me.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An excellent pencil for the price. Does exactly what it says and it's incredibly simple to use, no pairing. That said, it was ultimately not for me and I decided to go with the considerably more expensive Apple pencil. I don't like the shape of the crayon. I also have a slot in my iPad case meant for the Apple pencil, and I like having the pencil always at hand and charging as needed.

Great Ipad Pencil
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this due to the reviews of how great it was as well the fact that the apple pencil costs more than double. This works just as good. Feels good in the hands and is a blast on the IPAD to use when drawing or writing things among other things the IPAD allows you to use it for. Battery life is great and it does charge pretty fast when needed. But as a heads up I have an older IPAD MINI and this did not work on it so it really only works on the listed models. Overall save your money and go with the Logitech pencil it's worth every penny and put the extra money you save toward something else.

Logitech Crayon
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Logitech crayon for Apple iPad Pro is a great product in leau of the Apple Pencil. It’s compatible with the iPad Pro and does just about what the Apple Pencil will do. There are a few things that vary, for instance, the easy magnetic storage to the side of the iPad. Another perk, it’s a few bucks cheaper so it’ll save you a few dollars.

Simple and Easy!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you’re debating on getting an Apple Pencil but don’t want to spend so much, this is a great alternative! No need to go on the Bluetooth settings to connect, you just charge, turn it on, and it’s ready to go. The flat feature of the pencil really fits on your fingers and doesn’t feel the pressure of a regular pencil after writing or drawing so long. I also love that it uses the same charger as my iPhone and iPad so I don’t have to worry about losing a specific charging cable!
