We use it for note taking, basic drawing and journaling. Its responsive, writes smoothly, and I'm happy with purchase.

It doesn’t shade but it’s great for taking notes. Works with all updated ipads (newer). Charges with lightning cable, easy to work with

Can't afford Apple Pencil?

It saved me from the high cost of the Apple pencil. However, Apple has quality products so you will have to make your own decision.

When it comes to Apple Products, Apple wants you to purchase Apple accessories…use Apple apps and that’s just the way it is. I was hoping this pencil would work as it was lest costly than the Apple Pencil, but it just didn’t work for me. Sketchy at best. So..if you really want to screen sketch or write..I would definitely wait and pay the extra for the original Apple Pencil… I returned this item with no problems at Best Buy.

Digital in all respects, except those in which it isn’t.

It did die twice unexpectedly after just a couple hours of use. I just expected longer battery life for something so small.
