Great accessory for the IPad
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My family and I love this Logitech Digital Pencil. From the start I was very impressed because it pairs up with your IPad immediately, I wish more products would have the same capability. We also noticed immediately how durable it feels, unlike some of the other stylus out there. To me this is very important if you are going to have your kids use it as well. It is very responsive and accurate with writing, which is why we primarily got it. My son and daughter also love how it feels like an actual pencil. They love drawing and coloring with it. Overall, I think this digital pencil is very versatile and fun for the whole family. We also loved that it stayed charged for a good 7 hours and it recharges very quickly. I would highly recommend this Logitech digital pencil if you are looking for something durable and easy to use.

Great iPencil Alternative
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my middle schooler and she uses it daily. Easy to link to iPad and works great. Also like the way Lighting connection is easy to charge crayon. Design works well and similar feel of a carpenter pencil (won’t roll away). Glad I purchased.

Its Good and very responsive Pen over IPad
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When we took this Pen out of box, We never though how the awesome experience will be in using it with IPad. Very smooth and very responsive device. Just charge once a day and use all day in the school or at home while study. Nice Gift for Students who are always working with IPad. Also its sleek design doesnt leave any pain or sweat in your hand o palm. Recommended for all. Worth of money.

Amazing substitute for the Apple-labeled one
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the new iPad with iPencil support. I have been using their own product but have issues with it. I was very happy to see that Logitech came out with their own Pencil stylus for the iPad. I am very impressed with this product for the various reasons. Pros: - Price. Why am I starting with this? Even though the new iPad is cheaper compared to the Pro models, spending another $100 takes a toll on your budget. Thankfully the CRAYON is $30 cheaper and does the same things, and is better alternative to the other stylus' available. -On/Off button: I can turn this off and save battery time. There is a physical On/Off button on the top of the CRAYON that you can toggle. This saves me battery time. -Set up: no pairing. Just take a picture of a QR code and the CRAYON is ready to go. -Weight: for me, it is lighter and easier to hold than the iPencil. It is not completely round, has flat surfaces which allow my small hand to grip it better ergonomically. Cons: -You cannot use it on another iPad. Once synced to an iPad, it is only for that iPad. Battery life: yes, you can turn it on and off, but using it continuously, gave me about 7 hours. That is less than it's major competitor, but who will be drawing for that long? I like the CRAYON a lot, although there are some noticeable differences. If you are on a budget and don't like the other brands, the CRAYON is great. It feels better for those with smaller hands, and can do the same job as the big named one. Great purchase!

Great Digital Pencil Limited to One Gen of iPad
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Logitech makes some of my all-time favorite peripherals... and this would EASILY be among the top, too, except that it ONLY works on the 6th Gen iPad. Does it work well on the 6th Gen? Yes, absolutely. Does it track well? Yep - on the surface level it looks as if it tracks as well as the Apple Pencil. Compared to other offerings like the 53 Pencil and other styluses, this is miles ahead. Having used the Apple Pencil extensively, I missed the pressure sensitivity (especially in my app and style of choice). The thought put into the charging mechanism (hey, the cover is attached!) and the charging port is female... the indicators are simple and easy to read, charging is fast, and the balance is great. The charge lasts through a full art project or (presumably) a day of classes and notetaking... Is it a great digital pencil? Yeah, if you own a 6th Gen iPad or are planning to get one. But why oh why leave off Bluetooth for wider compatibility? As a 3rd-party peripheral maker, Logitech is already playing catch-up since Apple will always be one step ahead (and at the time of writing, having just released both a new iPad Pro and Apple Pencil that features magnetic wireless charging... they just took that step for Pro users) you'd want your device to work far and wide. Add to that, most kids in the target demo ("Crayon" branding) get hand-me-down iPads and not the latest gen... (aka, the iPad mini and iPad 4th gen my kiddos are learning on). Frustrating. Unless it's a software thing, this particular version of the Crayon might be one to skip until/unless they add in Bluetooth or wider compatibility - especially if you don't own a 6th Gen iPad or plan to upgrade soon.

Good item
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the comfortable ease with which you can hold the pen without it being slippery. Also it’s size and shape ensures it doesn’t roll neither is it inconspicuous. Once charged it can be used over multiple days before recharging. It doesn’t need to be connected to the ipad while using. Goid connection too. Like it.

Stylus Pen - Evolved
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an iPad 6th Generation and wanted to try a new stylus as my Apple stylus was getting old. This Logitech "Crayon" digital pencil is an evolved version of a tablet pen. I particularly like the flat design of the pen as the Apple pen was round and kept rolling away from me when I needed it. The charge lasts a long time on this pen and it connecting immediately when I started it up. My only negative is that this pen doesn't do a good job of responding to pressure. With the Apple pen, you could press harder and make a thicker line.

Nice alternative to Apple Pencil
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This doesn't have a pressure sensor like the Apple Pencil. So if your primary goal is drawing, go to Apple Pencil instead. This is nice for people who have kids since it doesn't require pairing process. It just connects via simply turning on the stylus and getting closer to the iPad. Also, this doesn't roll off the table like the Apple Pencil. And you can simply charge with Lightning cable, which is pretty much convenient.

Love it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like how easy this pen is to use and the quality of it —but definitely keep it charged when not using it. I thought the pointer would be a bit smaller allowing for more precision for drawing apps and others but it still works better than I thought and the next best option from apple pen and the options on Best Buy.

If you have an newer iPad; this is a must have
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is takes your iPad (6th Gen or newer) to an entire new level... do more with it, then ever before. So the Apple Pencil has been around for a while, but it is expensive... this option makes it affordable and works just as well... if not better. First, it works the moment you take it out of the box, and turn it on. No syncing, No fancy Bluetooth setup, no nothing... (it may need a quick charge though). You can then use it all over your iPad. Charges using your existing lighting wire that came with your iPad. (doesn't come with a cable or adapter, and doesn't use Micro-USB like other accessories do). Charges completely in about 30 minutes, and the charge lasts a LONG time. We downloaded a couple free drawing apps, and my daughter is now drawing away and having a blast. so much easier and more functional then just using your finger. For the student or office person, there are apps, that allow you to use the ipad as a digital note pad. and you can HANDWRITE your notes, instead of using the screen or add on keyboard. Which also allow you to draw figures or diagrams (or just doodle if the meeting/class is boring). If you have a 6th gen or higher iPad, this is a no-brainer accessory to add.

Creative digital tool to write and draw
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an intriguing tool to utilize the ability to write and draw as if you're sketching on a regular paper or notepad. I have played around with the Apple Pencil in store and was impressed by it's ability to be so precise and it's pressure control. This Logitech Crayon is a nice tool, but more for a youthful audience. I liked the fact that it's easy to hold and write/draw. Unfortunately I wasn't a fan of the lack of pressure control to make a thin line or a thick line. It gave a nice way to show my child's creativity and allow her to draw free hand or scribble things. I do like how this Crayon is able to allow you to draw when your hand is resting on the screen and palm is touching the screen. It has a lock out style feature that recognizes your hand is resting on the screen while you're writing. I think this is an ideal tool / crayon for a child from 5 - 13 years old maybe. Older than that I would think an actual Apple Pencil may be a better tool for precision and drawing. It's a very cool idea and very useful to allow creative thinking and expression of thought. Useful, creative, and fun to play with.

The Price is RIGHT!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is what the Apple Pencil should be like, it's really good. This thing is silky smooth when using it, and I only have one complaint. It's listed below. The pen has a female charging port, so you can plug in your cable and it's not hanging out like on the Apple Pencil. It's very accurate and does very well. Charges really fast, and it's nice in the hand when using. It can feel a little boxy at times...but its okay not bad. CON: It can only be used with the 6th GEN iPad which is a shame.

Great alternative to Apple Pencil
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would have rated this as a 5 star if it supported the iPad Pro models. I am disappointed that the product was designed to only work with the Generation 6 iPad. In all fairness, Logitech does disclose this and the consumer has an opportunity to know of this ahead of time. Now for how it works with the Generation 6 iPad... It works great. I cannot tell the difference between this and its competitor. The design is actually superior due to the cover over the charging point and the fact that it does not require pairing with the device. I tested it with two color applications and it worked flawlessly. It was accurate and very responsive. If you have a Gen 6 iPad, this is a great pen to use with it. Just don't make the mistake of assuming that will work with an iPad Pro. I would be very happy if this same device would work with all of my iPad products. I hope that Logitech keeps this in mind for future releases.

A cost effective alternative
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This colorful tool for the iPad (6th Generation) is an inexpensive alternative to the Apple Pencil without sacrificing any of the quality. I was so happy to find out that it is compatible with nearly all apps that are Apple Pencil enabled making it easy to use right out of the box. I personally really like the grip that the Logitech Crayon Digital Pencil offers providing a sleek, triangular shape. The pencil for me allows me to edit very detailed aspects of photos, and I find myself using the pencil for even writing lists as it is more convenient when brainstorming or writing quick reminders. In addition when drawing, coloring or any other detail-oriented task, the Logitech Crayon allows you to rest your palm on the surface of your iPad without you having to worry about "smearing" or disrupting your creation! The Crayon also works just as a real writing instrument would with the ability to make the lines thicker or thinner with just a slight tilt. Overall, I find this to be a wonderful budget-friendly alternative for any iPad (6th Generation) owner.

cheap alternative to apple pencil.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i love the color as orange is my favorite color. that said though, tried to like this more then an apple pencil but cant. its not so bad if all you own is a ipad 6th gen. which is all this supports. its stated as such, but its also a reason I don't recommend. being the ipad 6 is new, I cant say for sure if this will work with new models of ipads coming out or not yet. I can confirm as well that again only works with 6th gen. the tip is the same as the apple pencil but wont work with other ipads that work with the apple pencil. that said, it does have an on/off button. something the apple pencil does not have. it also does not use Bluetooth so it instantly works on the ipad without needing to sync. so for schools or those using multiple ipad 6th gens, this is great for that. you don't have to sync the pencil each time etc. the design is more ovalish shaped. I don't find it as comfortable as the apple pencil but not to uncomfortable either. the tip is not pressure sensitive, so if you are an artist I don't suggest this at all. it adjust line weight and shadowing according to the angle you place it down on the screen. where as the apple pencil is pressure sensitive. if don't care about that and just use for signing things, general writing etc then its fine. battery life is about 8 hours compared to apple pencil that is 12 hours. and takes a little longer to charge. the apple pencil gives 30 minutes from about 15 seconds of charge where this gives you 30 minutes from 90 seconds of charge. it uses the ipad cord to charge. where as the apple pencil plugs into the ipad to charge. one reason I like how the apple pencil charges is if you are out and about and don't have the cord, no worries, you just plug in the pencil to ipad, let sit for 15 seconds and you can use it for 30 minutes. where as with the Logitech crayon, you are out of luck. overall, for the price, I rather pay more, get the pencil that can connect to other ipad devices and not limited to just the ipad 6th gen, and you get a pressure sensitive tip for it. I also love Logitech and there stuff. if you only have an ipad 6th gen. then its not a bad alternative to the apple pencil if you don't mind the things I stated like no pressure tip. and may or may not work on future ipads. and really nice if you run a class and have ipad 6th gens. as you wont have to worry about what apple pencil goes with what ipad as this will work with any.

Works well with 6th gen ipad
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a stylus, a really nice stylus with some extra features, but essentially just a stylus. It is designed to lay flat, you can adjust line width; how well depends on the app that you are using it with. Battery life is as advertised. I'd give it 5 stars, but the advertising makes it look cooler than what it really is. It's still you drawing that picture or painting it in, it just makes doing that easier. I'd say it's better used for productivity than creativity (in my case at least) and does make markups easier on documents. If your old enough to remember having to use a pen to compose and correct you work, then this will make some tasks on the tablet more comfortable.

Good Budget Digital Pencil
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is obviously aimed at kids, but if you're looking for an adult alternative to the Apple Pencil, this isn't a bad choice with a few quirks. It supports tilt to vary line thickness, as well as palm rejection so you can rest your hand on the iPad. It doesn't offer pressure sensitivity, so if you're really looking for an artist tool, this won't work. It is very easy to pair. I didn't have an issue with the flat shape, but some might. I knocked off a star because it only works with the 6th generation iPad and not the iPad Pro, which limits its use.

Great idea but more comparability needed.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech crayon is an awesome concept. It works just as you would expect it to. It offers precise drawing or navigating, tilts functionality, and palm rejection technology just like the apple pencil. I actually prefer the feel of the crayon because it has more grip and not completely round. It is easy to charge and also does not take extremely long to charge. I also like how you can plug the charger in unlike the apple pencil which needs an adapter. The biggest downfall to this device is its compatibility. Currently it is only able to be used with one iPad which is a huge downfall for users of the PRO line that would like to use it as well. Overall if this is compatible with your iPad i would highly recommend it.
