I bought this as a stylus to write on my 6th gen iPad and ended up returning it. The crayon worked perfectly as advertised with a virtually lag free response but I feel that it needs a slightly softer tip as the tapping sounds it makes when writing/drawing become annoying. It is too noisy for taking notes in a classroom or meeting environment.

It's great to see another option for a pen to use with the latest iPads. I like the weight of this pen over the apple pen. This one is lighter and it has a flat side and does not roll off the desk. It will not fit in my iPad case like the apple pen will. It also skips some places on the screen when I write with it so sadly I've had to go back to the Apple pen.

This colorful tool for the iPad (6th Generation) is an inexpensive alternative to the Apple Pencil without sacrificing any of the quality. I was so happy to find out that it is compatible with nearly all apps that are Apple Pencil enabled making it easy to use right out of the box. I personally really like the grip that the Logitech Crayon Digital Pencil offers providing a sleek, triangular shape. The pencil for me allows me to edit very detailed aspects of photos, and I find myself using the pencil for even writing lists as it is more convenient when brainstorming or writing quick reminders. In addition when drawing, coloring or any other detail-oriented task, the Logitech Crayon allows you to rest your palm on the surface of your iPad without you having to worry about "smearing" or disrupting your creation! The Crayon also works just as a real writing instrument would with the ability to make the lines thicker or thinner with just a slight tilt. Overall, I find this to be a wonderful budget-friendly alternative for any iPad (6th Generation) owner.

The Logitech Crayon is a great alternative to the Apple Pencil for certain uses, and would be great for kids. In terms of comfort, I actually prefer the look/feel of the Crayon over the Apple Pencil, and I prefer its shape as it doesn't roll around at all of course! The Apple Pencil was designed not to roll around as well but I just like the shape of the Crayon better and it feels more like you're holding an actual pen/pencil so feels more like you're writing with a pen/pencil. Using it's as easy as turning it on and going straight to work. As it promised no pairing was needed on mine, it just worked right out of the box. Pretty cool. It really was easier to setup than the Apple Pencil. Writing with it feels much like the Apple Pencil where it's smooth and accurate. It doesn't necessarily feel like you're writing on paper but once you're used to it, it does begin to feel more natural. The Crayon is great for note taking and simple artwork but it does NOT support the pressure sensitive writing that the Apple Pencil does. The tilt of the pen does affect how lines show but pushing harder has no effect on the line. For everything I do, this is great and I'd prefer it to the Apple Pencil. In short, if you're looking for a pen that you'll just use for writing notes and doing simple drawings this would work great. On the other hand, if you're looking to do artwork like with paint brushes, pencils, or other art tools where pressure sensitivity is essential to your art then this is probably not the best for that specific use case. Battery life was good lasting several hours of use and it never ran dead. It does have the ability to be turned off to preserve battery life and can be charged with a lightning cable with the charge port under the cap. What is not so great it's doesn't include a lightning cable so you'll have to use the one that came with your iPad or purchase another. It is fair to point out that the Apple Pencil also doesn't come with a cable but does plug in to the iPad where the Crayon doesn't. In all, I'd recommend it if you're just taking notes or doing simple artwork. It'd be ideal for kids but I'd definitely steer away from it if you're doing artwork that requires the pressure sensitivity. Pros: No paring needed Power button Great for notes Shape/feel Cons: No charge cable/adapter - you'll need to use your own lightning cable No pressure sensitivity
