Wow what durability and realistic this thing is. Very impressed to say the least. And the great thing is when he switched to playing on PC, the steering wheel and shifter works with that as well. I would absolutely buy again.

Great accessory for driving sim enjoyers

Even though there are shifter paddles on the wheel, having a real knob shifter makes a huge difference in making everything feel "right," especially when driving in VR. I like that the look and feel match my wheel. I didn't know that you have to push the knob in to engage the reverse gear, but figured it out eventually. I don't know how to drive stick, so I figured this would be a good way to get used to things. My wife, however, learned to drive on an old stick shift pickup truck out on the farm. She hopped into a simulated mustang and proceeded to have herself a blast just running laps on a practice course.

By far the best shifter I've used. The leather makes it feel very authentic. It's super easy changing gears and very smooth. This is perfect for playing Forza. It really makes the driving experience! My daily driver is an automatic transmission with paddle shifters, which is great, but not quite like driving stick - this Logitech, however, scratches that stick-shift itch so well! Throws are short and smooth. It's not as notchy as a Civic Type R, but it's still satisfying to row through the gears. It's somewhere between Toyota 86 and Mazda Miata (maybe Civic Sport?). If you drive a manual Mazda in the real world, you already know how to put this Logitech shifter into reverse (push down, all the way to the right, then pull back). Sometimes you'll end up in third when you really want fifth depending on how "aggressively" you're playing, but overall, it's totally user friendly. I absolutely recommend adding this shifter to your racing setup! Even if you can't drive stick, this will help you learn!
