A MUST HAVE FOR ALL G29/G923 OWNERS

While I recommend the G29 over the newer and over priced G923, the shifter pairs with both. I have only used on paired with my G29 but i assume the same performance with the new wheel, although, it does use a new technology that has some bugs. I don’t even know how to drive manual but I am going to learn now using this, without the risk of damaging a real vehicle. It can also be mapped to work as your pitch in GT while flying as well!

Having shifter is nice, although I do find myself using both this and the paddle shifts sometimes. Definitely nice to have direct route for reverse :) Not liking the push-down for reverse though, all my real cars had/have a pull up collar, but I guess that's too costly to simulate on controller. Pretty happy with it nevertheless.

The thing is mostly plastic anyway. The thing that made me get it is that it's really the only external shifter compatible with Logitech wheels at that price. So your kinda forced to get it if you have a Logitech wheel and want an external shifter. New and used ones are all around $50, so I just went with a new one. It's nice to have but I still can't get over paying $50 for it. It seems like it's maybe worth $25.

Great Fun with Forza Motorsports

In a nostalgic escape, I bought this on sale for my little race sim setup and I am quite pleased. It is super fun to use with Forza Motorsports. Please note that the H style shifting will NOT work on F1 23 on Xbox Series X as modern-day F1 cars are paddle controlled for manual shifting.

WOULD RECOMMEND if you wanna have FUN. Nothing beats slamming gears down a track with this shifter, much better than using the paddles on the wheel in my opinion. You can even customize it later on by changing out the shifter know and stick.

The shifter can be clamped or screwed (screws not included) depending on your setup. It is compatible with all Logitech wheels including my G923. Could've been a little bit bigger in my opinion but that's ok. Other than that really good and definitely recommend if you like driving manuals!

I recently bought another for the G920 wheel I got. It does have a slight click in certain gears when shifting into them, but I noticed other ones did the same thing and it's pretty minor.

This really improves the realism and make you feel like you are actually shifting the car. There’s no way to get a full shifter feel but this is pretty good.

It can be hooked up to either console or PC using the steering wheel for the specified console. The shifter dont work on all games, maybe bot supported but over all the children has fun with it.
