Honestly tho, it just isn’t viable when you get into racing the faster cars where paddle shifting is faster. I had to return it because of this very reason. The product itself is honestly realistic to an extent. It’s great but not for what I would want it for. I wouldn’t have used it more than that afternoon.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you use my Shifter you are going to feel angry or crazy that is how I feel it is like the Shifter is bothering me saying that the G5 gear is N or G3 when I configured it well I even reset it and reconfigured it many times and I am but why don't you put yourself in G5 I have you assigned to G5 it marks it in the game correctly and when I play and put both hands on the steering wheel G29 the Shifter is put in G3 by itself I don't know what is the reason I am confused and worried how many times am I going to configure it for it to work well and it doesn't work the Shifter sounds new but it doesn't work I used it for 12 days and I am having a terrible time is how do you want me to learn manually? if it changes itself when I put both hands on the wheel I know how to drive manually Really my dad taught me but this works badly it's like if someone touched my shifter when I drive with both hands with a classic car in Pro mode and tells me now I downshift when you least expect it and boom my engine explodes in Assetto Corsa and in BeamNG I even got paranoid I put the PC in disconnected mode from the internet thinking that they were hacking me and what happened the same thing happens it's the Shifter is bad it has a software error they didn't programme it well and they put it on sale like that so that one goes crazy confused by the error it has I thought it was my fault and it is not an error of the product I bought it new and it hasn't worked from the first day, I am searching to the extreme what is it ??? Looking for a solution that does not exist since the conclusion is that it is bad, defective. To understand this and look for a solution, it is better to return it and have them give me a new one or I buy one of better quality that this does not work even the Logitech Application detects it on PC.

Great low budget shifter for low budget race simul

There are some cases where you can easily shift to fifth instead of third gear because of how small the shifter is but that is on rare occasions. All in all I am very pleased with his purchased.

First time using an electronic gear shifter for video games. It is incredibly smooth and extremely satisfying. Very similar to compact sport car shifters in real vehicles for those who have drove such in real life.

Mismatch for the PRO Wheel Base, but okay.

I wish Logitech had something more robust to match with the PRO Wheel, but it'll do the trick in the meantime. I had to get a separate $40 adapter from Logitech's website to link that up to the PRO Wheel Base. Otherwise, if you're matching it with a G920, G29, or G923, this is your only option for manual transmission and will work out of the box without the extra adapter.
