Functionality: The joystick moves in three axes (X, Y, and Z for twist/rudder), has a slider (throttle), an 8-way hat switch, and 12 buttons. Quality: The joystick seems well built at the price it sells for. The stick has a good amount of resistance. Longevity is unknown because I have had it for only a month. Ease of use: The joystick is truly plug and play. Just plug into a USB port, and it works.

Great starter stick if youre looking to get low cost entry into the flight simulator world. Also a great budget stick to pair with a throttle, I use an x52 throttle alongside this stick for DCS and it works amazing.

This has been a great joystick to use in flight simulator. The controls are easily accessible and easy to configure for Microsoft flight simulator. Very affordable but good quality as well.

Upon purchasing this item, I immediately realized I got a lot more than what I paid for ($19.99). Works in a multitude of flying games and if it is not officially supported you can configure it with the bundled software. Great bang for your buck. Worth it all the way. Recommended for casual gamers.

I’ve been using the same model of joystick for the last 20 years. My old one wore out and I decided to replace it with the same model. Great basic joystick at an affordable price. Works well with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.

Excellent affordable option for XPlane on Mac. Worked right out of the box, and there are enough controls and buttons - all customizable - so I could optimize the settings for how I use the simulator. Nicely weighted, solid feel.

Easy to install and really easy to set up, perfect for first time flying simulator players

I had 3 or 4 of these over the years. They were all great until the throttle would break or the yaw would do it's own thing. This one is far improved. Much sturdier than before, better calibrated so none is needed in games I've used it in. No software required to run it like before. Response time is as quick as a mouse & keyboard finally! I searched long & far for anything as good as one of these that would be compatible with Windows 10 & by luck, not only was it on this site but was in stock at the store when the site said they didn't carry it. One in stock & I got it. Joysticks aren't the popular thing now but some games you just gotta have one. This one is universal & works with 99% of flight games, even as a controller if you dare, in a driving game!

Thanks to Microsoft Flight Simulator, it took nearly a year for me to just buy a simple, cheap flight stick like this one. Last time I had a flight stick was for Tie Fighter for PC in the 90's. Fast fwd to 2021 and I am using this stick with SW: Squadrons in VR. It works out of the box without installing software. The feel and tension is pretty good. Lack of adjustments is a negative here, but for less than $40, not much of a complaint. Feels very solid. The left side base buttons are a little too same shaped, that they are a bit difficult to tell apart from touch, I wish they'd have made more aggressive textures or different bump patterns to tell the difference from touch. Otherwise, the best flight stick I've tried that's under $50.

I have owned 2 of these and enjoy them. For the money, they are amazing, especially for someone new to the flight sim world. I have many many hours in the virtual sky, but haven't found the need to spend hundreds of dollars on a joy stick since this has done the job great.

Great controller!! This is my second Logitech joystick, my first one lasted me 8 years before it was time for a new one. They last for a long time, durable, and is perfect for flying! Would definitely recommend

The Logitech - Extreme 3D Pro Joystick gives you the feel of action that a mouse and key board can't do. The trigger ,look around,and major buttons are easy on the thumb. The side mounted and base buttons work greate for you free hand. I was worried looking at it online it looked cheap and easy to break or not last long . Out of the box it’s got some weight to it and feels real high quality ! We found out it can even be used with our smart tv . But we mostly use it for Microsoft flight simulator with pc and this thing is so steady and we love the extra programmable buttons it has as well !!!! Already thinking of buying another one just to play against my kids hahahah

For a reasonable price, this joystick is awesome. I use it for various PC games, and it has enough functions to handle them all. If you are looking for a great joystick, but don't want to spend a fortune, this is your choice!

For such an inexpensive product, this joystick is perfect for any beginners or entry-level simmers. I did find that mine was slightly loose on the yaw axis, which made rudder usage slightly challenging and jerky at times. Aside from that this is a very solid choice if with all the features you need and enough buttons for most important functions.

Comfortable, sturdy feel. Buttons are responsive and require little force to activate, but not too little to misclick. Trigger is exceptionally satisfying. Movement is fluid and easy. For its price, this joystick is phenomenal - fantastic for an entry- to advanced-level experience. Leave it to Logitech to serve a high quality product for an affordable price. Gripes are few and minor. The throttle knob is a bit too easy to turn for my likes; I'm afraid I may accidentally nudge it and cause adverse effects. The main gripe is the software. Logitech Gaming Software (LGS) versions past 5.10.127 do not detect the joystick whatsoever, so users cannot use the latest version along with their other Logitech devices. User MUST download LGS version 5.10.127, which is a standalone version of the config software (versus the all-in-one later/current versions of LGS) for the joystick, in order to customize it in any way. Device has no force feedback, as expected. Bear this in mind when purchasing. If you desire a force feedback joystick, seek elsewhere.
