Great controller

It's a great gaming controller that will act just like an xbox controller when connected to your computer. Because it's wired, you don't have to worry about setting up bluetooth which I personally find to be valuable. The only negative would be the tough trigger buttons which one would expect to be easier to trigger. I haven't played a game that requires them but I suspect you will adjust with frequent use. Recommended product, and works through my USB hub, so bonus.

I picked this up because I found my old PC copies of a few Tony Hawk titles and while my xbox controller was functional I've always felt these types of games were better suited for the playstation dual shock layout. This one was inexpensive, decently reviewed, and I have had good experiences with Logitech devices in the past. The buttons all have a good tactile feedback when you press them leaving no question that a button press did happen, the analog sticks have just the right amount of resistance and the only thing that would make them better would be a concave design to the head of the stick, the analog triggers are smooth but a little one the short side.
Now for the kicker... since this was purchased for Tony Hawk titles where a good responsive d-pad is crucial as direction controls affect which trick you do and hitting left or right plus the flip button is a simple kickflip or heelflip but having a dpad also register a press of the up or down makes it an angled press which is usually a flip trick that needs more air to pull off and accidentally doing a sal flip when you only had room for a kick or heel flip can mean the difference between a barely landed combo and a failed combo... and this d-pad has done this to me more times than I can count... controller manufacturers need to realize sony got it right with 4 completely isolated buttons for the d-pad
So one star knocked off for a d-pad that could easily be better..
Also the controller does not include vibration motors so if that is something you really want skip this one

For what you're paying, this is a really great game pad. The d pad spins a little bit, the triggers are kind of awkward and the game pad is a little small but if you're just playing games casually, it definitely gets the job done. I have only had it for about a month with fairly light use so take that as you will

This is just as good as more expensive controllers, including others by Logitech. It seamlessly works with Windows 10 games that support XBox360 or XBox one controllers. It also has a PS3/PS4 emulator mode with profiler software , but in Xbox mode you don't need it. It holds up to rigorous use. I am physocally challenged and find this controller easier to hold in my adaptive way then fancier models. Plus it is half the price.

When I was looking for a PC game controller to play X-Box Pass on my laptop, all what came up by online searching cost more than $30. I almost gave up finding, but a search result of this controller came up by chance. This one was not listed as Compatible Controller for X-Box Pass on X-Box Pass homepage, but one review saying this works with PC games convinced me to buy this. This perfectly works on my laptop to play X-Box Pass. Make sure you switch the rear switch to X when you play X-Box Pass. If it is D position, X-Box Pass doesn't read this as Compatible Device.
That's great to hear! The Logitech F310 is a budget-friendly option for PC gaming, and it sounds like you found a great deal on it. It's always nice when a product works as expected, especially when you're on a budget.

Controller is very similar to a playstation controller which is what i was looking for. Is a little cumbersome to setup for the game I was trying to play it with (Steam version of Final Fantasy 7) but worked well. I am not sure if it was the controller or the game is the only reason i gave it 4 rather than 5

I bought this gamepad after having difficulties using mouse/keyboard for a PC game. It works and sets up well although you may need to search online how to get software to completely set it up. Overall I've enjoyed it and was easy to set up after learning how to bind keys to buttons and all. Feels smooth to use and similar to PS3 controllers in my opinion. Great pick for a gamepad if you're looking for one at a good price.

need a controller for pc gaming? got 20 bucks? no brainer. works with every game i've used it on AND it has a button to automatically convert to xbox controls which rules. doesn't need any drivers or anything, literally just plug & play!
Hi Noodle, we're glad to see you've found the F310 Gaming Pad! The fact that this is compatible with pretty much anything that uses a wired controller is a huge plus! Continue to enjoy!

This is an inexpensive option to replace a more expensive gaming controller. From what I've been able to determine, basic features work well with most PC games so far; I haven't had any issues. The cord length could be longer, but then--that's why wireless controllers are better option for those who are a greater distance from their box. For the price, it really is a good buy.

I purchased this to have a playstation like remote to use for my emulator on my computer as well as a few other games. This controller was low priced and does everything i need it to. Makes you wonder why some cost upwards of 50 dollars when this does everything those do. Perfect choice, plug and it installs, and you are playing in no time. Calibrated to my computer as well as epsx and my ps2 emulator in no time.

I bought this controller to play a couple of video games on the computer. Simple to install, as it required nothing more from me than hooking it to a USB port. Computer recognizes it as an Xbox controller, at a fraction of the price, and it functions great. Used it a few times and I have not had any issues.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Logitech - F310 Gaming Pad. We're happy to know it's working well for you. We appreciate your support!

I just grabbed this off the shelf needing a game controller and was pleasantly surprised how simple this was to set up and use. If feels just like a standard Xbox controller. IT is simply plug and play for any games that I have that say they use a controller. It behaves just like it should and there is no learning curve.
This is a great little unit and priced right!

If you've ever button commanded your way through Arkham Asylum or Max Payne you know how bad not having a controller or joystick sucks.
I've been using this with Skyrim and it works nicely. Just plug it in, let it install drivers and your good to go. Thats on an HP laptop with Windows 7.
Price is awesome and you already know you can trust Logitech. Won't hesitate to buy again if needed.

I am a PC gaming enthusiast and some games do not play well with a mouse and keyboard. This controller for the PC works great and required virtually no setup time and provides some increased sensitivity in the games. I have Windows 10 operating system and it was plug and play compatible and the price was very reasonable.

Logitech has always been known to make great gaming accessories and this controller is proof of that. For a budget price you get a controller that works. You can remap buttons for different games beit retro or current. The triggers could be a bit better, but they aren't bad. Overall good controller for budget gamers.

Good for the amount of money spent. Its just dont have the vibration of the higher cost controllers but it gets the job done. Maybe Im just the type of guy that prefers the functionality of the item.

Only 20 bucks (or so)! No need to set up bizarre third-party drivers that may or may not work! No need to blow 50 bucks on a console controller! It's also perfect for a person who grew up on PS2 games, so there's no issue with emulators.

I purchased this game pad on a whim since it was for sale some weeks back at best buy for 7.99 thru bestbuy online.
I'll say that the pad performs as it should, no lag, driver issues (running on windows 10) and the feel is like that of a playstation controller with xbox buttons. For 8 bucks, pretty good deal. However, I do not understand why Best Buy wouldn't honor the price from their online store and match it in store. I had to purchase this on my phone (from which I showed one of the employees at best buy) to get the game pad at the sale price best buy was selling it for on their website. The reasons they said is that they didn't have any in stock which was complete BS since the store had them and I brought one up to the register. So I had to order the game pad from my phone, and went to another bestbuy to pick it up.
SO 10/10 for the controller
1/10 for employees and in store policies (Store in Spring, TX. at I45).
I would recommend this game pad to anyone looking for a cheap alternative to the more expensive ones if they don't mind less features (not wireless, no vibration etc.)
