I will open with the admission that I have been a long time fan of Logitech. They make great peripherals that are high quality and well priced. These headphones are no exception.
Well packaged and high quality, these headphones have a polished aluminum look, soft and comfortable ear cups and a removable headphone. Included is a USB charging cable and USB Bluetooth adapter.
Controls are on the left earpiece and include on/off, volume and mute. They are easily accessible, and offer a nice tacticale feel.
You will want to download the Logitech G HUB to tune the mic and create/download profiles.
End of the day, very good gaming headset with one opportunity for improvement. The bass is certainly adequate, but I do wish it were just a little more punchy. Certainly not a deal breaker, but I do want just that little bit of improvement.
I would recommend to a friend for gaming, but for music, they are pretty good, but not quite great.
**PLEASE NOTE** This product was provided to me at no cost in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. This review is exactly that: Honest and unbiased. The price played no role in the tone or honesty of this review.

I’ve only had this Logitech G PRO X Wireless DTS Gaming Headset for a few days, but it was enough to make an impression. I can’t really compare it with any other modern gaming headsets, but I can tap in to my experience using several high quality bluetooth and wired over the ear headphones from Sony, AKG, Bose and Microsoft.
The build quality is solid, a mix of durable steel, aluminum and generous padding. The main ear pads are stuffed with memory foam and covered in very smooth, comfortable leatherette. Another set of cloth ear pads is also included for less external noise isolation, or just a different feel overall, perhaps less sweating. They do feel a bit heavy, but not uncomfortably so, after all they are not built for portability or travel, but you can still bring them along with the provided carrying pouch.
The sound quality is where these shine, but in order to get the most out of it, you must install the Logitech G HUB software that unlocks a considerable list of advanced features, such as DTS 7.1 Surround Sound and tons of preset and custom Microphone, Acoustics and Equalizer options. Just to put it in perspective, the Blue VO!CE Mic Filter Technology allows you to tune your voice from the basic input gain level to an extensive voice equalizer with 5 Pro/Broadcaster presets and another 8 Blue VO!CE presets, and the option to create and save your own custom presets. The Acoustics options allow individual volume controls for the 7.1 surround sound channels, and save your custom “Room” sound settings for Entertainment, Gaming or Sports. The Equalizer section is “equally” customizable with 7 presets and add your own equalizer “Moods”. There are 10 different sliders to adjust frequencies between 32 Hz and 16 KHz.
With all the fine tuning available, it would be hard not to please everyone. With the 50 mm drivers, the sound is full, yet crisp, and with enough bass to help you immerse yourself in any gaming, movie or music listening experience. The surround sound is extremely useful in shooter games where you need all the 360 degrees awareness you can get to avoid your opponents sneaking up from behind.
Last but not least, the 2.4 GHz wireless USB dongle connection works seamlessly and with no noticeable delay, providing a better, faster, more stable connection than Bluetooth with a generous range. All in all, if you are an avid PC gamer and can afford it, you’ll be glad you got these.

Pros:
- High quality build, feels sturdy
- Great sound quality
- Excellent Mic, perfect for work and play.
- DTS sound
- Comfy cushions with extra pair of foam ones to swap out with the leather ones.
- Reliable connection
- Easy setup
- Excellent Battery time
CONS:
- Not the best sound but good enough. Had the Razer Ultimate Nari previously, this one is better built but doesn't sound as good.
- Junky software, downloaded presets for EQs don't work.
- Can't connect to other devices without the USB adapter. As long as your device can recognize the USB adapter, the headphone will work. I plugged it into my USB C dongle for my iPad Pro and it worked without any problems.
- Pricey for what you're getting. Should be at a lower price point IMO.

I’ve been using the Logitech G PRO X Wireless for like a week now and honestly… this headset is insane. First off, the mic? Bro, it’s actually so clean. My friends on Discord said I sound like I’m in a studio no static no background noise, just straight-up crispy voice
The audio is fire too Like when Im playing Valorant I can literally hear every single footstep and reload from across the map Music sounds crazy good toolike the bass hits but it’s not all muddy.
The battery life is solid I played for hours and didn’t even think about charging it And it’s actually comfy I’ve worn it for like 6 hours straight and my head didn’t feel like it was getting crushed
Honestly, everything about this headset is just… good. No complaints. Logitech cooked with this one.
Rating: 10/10, would recommend to anyone who games or just wants good audio

I could not be more impressed with the G Pro X gaming headset. The headset is solid but not too heavy to wear for long gaming sessions (or even a very long day of conference calls).
Sound:
The sound from the large drivers is impeccable for picking out tiny sounds in games as well as listening to music. I'm not a die-hard audiophile, but I was impressed by the sounds in familiar games that I had never head before from my desktop speakers.
Microphone:
I especially loved the sound profiles in G Hub. I have a deep voice that sometimes does not come across clearly with other microphones. With the "Low Voice - Loud" profile, my friends and work colleagues could hear me loud and clear.
Comfort:
I tried to wear the headset for a full day of work conference calls, music and after-hours gaming sessions with the installed leatherette ear cup pads and found them to have a little issue with sweat after about hour 4 or so. I swapped those out for the included (!) fabric cups and can (for better or worse) do a full day with the headset in comfort - which is not something I've ever been able to manage with another headset.
Connectivity:
I've been able to roam my entire house and remain clearly connected to my PC with no dropped audio at all and no latency that I can sense. The dongle is a little large, which might be an issue for laptop users, but causes no issues sticking out the back of my desktop tower.
Controls:
The feel of the volume control wheel and microphone mute *switch* (not a button, which is nice for tactile feedback while wearing the headset) is premium all the way.
I can only think of one, very minor, negative to share: turning off the headset does not disconnect the audio connection at the dongle. This means that you will need to manually set your audio back to another source when turning off the power switch on the headset itself.
Aside from that, my entire experience with the G Pro X headset has been a pure joy. Installation was a breeze and it's a lot of fun experimenting with different equalizer presets. I'd recommend this headset without hesitation for its excellent audio quality, great mic and software and, most importantly, quality build and comfort, particularly with the fabric ear cups.

I chose these because I already have the wired version at home and have always been very happy with them. I occasionally play games—sometimes even CS2 at a decent level—and I also use them mostly for Zoom meetings and other work calls. They’ve been awesome for all of that.
Of course, I also listen to music with them, and they sound great. The audio quality is clear, with nice depth and balance.
They’re comfortable enough to wear for a full 8-hour workday without issues. The battery life is solid, and when it runs out, I just plug them in and use them as wired headphones while they charge. Not a big deal at all.

I just changed from the wired GPro to the Wireless GPro X, they are equally as light and comfortable. Excellent sound quality and ability to adjust within the software to get it just the way you like it. They don't seem to get as loud as other headphones (Sennheiser PC37X-Wired-No DAC). The noise isolation is fantastic, and almost scary at times how quite the outside world is when wearing them. They are not studio monitor type headphones, it's a gaming headset, doing 2 jobs, speaking and hearing, and does it well.
Pros: Comfortable, great battery life, excellent sound adjustment ability
Cons: Not super loud, mic side tone distorts horribly when the mic is obviously clipping noise, the DTS function has been lackluster and doesn't seem to work for games that I play, COD Warzone and Escape From Tarkov, seems like I get a double surround effect in COD that distorts intended to be loud sounds and makes the experience very annoying. Found similar complaints but no solutions on support blogs.

Audio quality and mic sound fine. I use it for both my pc and ps5 and sometimes have problems with mic input on the Playstation but other than that no real problems. Switching back and forth can sometimes be annoying because you'll have to plug the headset in to connect it back every now and again. Decent headset, good battery life, pretty comfy. I'd say it's 100% worth it on sale.

I am very pleased with these headphones. Like many of the reviews state, the bass leaves more to be desired, but is hardly noticeable in games. If you are getting them for music or such, maybe go a little higher end? Other than that, they have a good weight to them, feel super high quality and are extremely comfortable.

This headset is great but there are some draw backs and it comes with a hefty price tag. Its extremally comfortable and lightweight, has super low latency and has a great classic design especially in the gaming headset market which is riddled with lights and weird cheap designs. Mic is great for a wireless headset and the battery life is a strong suit, which is normal for Logitech peripherals. The software and the tuning which can be done to the mic is amazing. (You can also get the blue icepop from blue's website if you want to upgrade the headsets mic). Only two weak points, not the loudest headset and it is pricey especially when the corsair hs70 pro wireless and now hs80 exists. the G pro x is a better headset than them but the price difference makes it a hard choice. But if you care about mic quality and want wireless this is your best bet.

Balancing price, performance, and convenience.

In my opinion, Logitech has struggled over the past few years to put out a REALLY good headset. I'm talking about a game changing, ground breaking headset that finds the perfect balancing point of performance and convenience at a price most people can afford. Until now. I truly believe the G Pro Wireless Headset is just that. I'm someone who has been anti-headset for a few years now because while they can be convenient, it's never been enough convenience to the point that I was willing to give up so much performance versus standalone headphones with a good DAC/Amp (and of course a separate standalone microphone).
That is no longer the case. I won't kid myself (or any of you for that matter) and say that these headphones are better than, or even as good as my standalone headphones (primarily using the Hifiman Sundara w/ a Grace SDAC and SMSL SP200 THX amp these days). But I will say they are good enough that I'm willing to give up some of the extra fidelity and take some trade-offs for how convenient they are. Maybe it's because my needs as a gamer have changed as I get older. I used to exclusively play competitive FPS games (CSGO, Overwatch, etc.). I still play them from time to time but I've also started playing a lot more singles player games as well. But that's neither here nor there, you want to know about these headphones. How they sound, how they perform in game, if the wireless is good and if there are any quirks. Well let's get straight to it then:
Positional Audio (foot step tracking in-game):
Fantastic. I'm very surprised how good this is on these headphones considering I'm used to open-back headphones with a very wide sound stage. Pin point accurate sound is nothing new to me, but to experience it in a $200 set of wireless closed back headphones is very new and very exciting. It should be noted that I do not use the DTS surround sound function, as it muddies the sound and actually makes the positional sound worse! Any game with a good sound engine will create a surround sound effect most accurately with good old fashioned stereo sound. Think about it... you only have two ears. That's two channels of audio. If the speakers/headphones are sitting directly on your ear, all surround sound is simulated via 2 channels. Your brain actually does the calculations based on how much sound (volume) is being picked up by each ear. This is how it works with speakers in a room and the effect is simulated with stereo sound via a game’s audio engine. My point is that digital surround sound and 7.1 in headphones is more of a marketing thing than a useful feature. The software surround sound in the settings (these headphones included) are not as good as stereo audio when it comes to headphones. You want proof that surround sound w/ headphones only requires stereo audio? Watch this video with headphones on. Close your eyes and listen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUDTlvagjJA&t=1s
Fidelity (Sound Quality)
These are not audiophile headphones by any means, but they are very good for a mass-consumer designed headset. They are v-shaped overall and can be customized via G Hub software equalizer, but they are surprisingly quite good compared to most headsets in this price range (especially "gaming" designated headsets). They do exceptionally well in recreating explosion sounds and gun shots. Voices sound pretty natural too. I would say they are better for movies/games than music but they do an above average job for music as well, especially with some EQ tuning. They seem to be best for certain genres of music… specifically electronic, synthwave/retro/outrun, and just about any type of rock music. When it comes to music, sound is very objective. Everyone has a certain sound they like based on their experiences. What they’ve heard and what type of equipment they have tried. But in terms of equipment capability these are quite good and punch well above their target market/price point.
Sound Isolation:
Although they do not have any type of active noise cancellation, these headphones do a very good job of blocking out background noises such as washing machines, air conditioning systems, fans or anything else that may be going on in your home. There is an option to enable sidetone in the settings which lets the mic pass through sound so you can hear your own voice when you talk. This is good for helping you keep your own voice volume under control, but unfortunately it does tend to pass along some static noise with so I have this feature disabled for clarity.
Fit/Comfort:
These headphones are VERY comfortable. My Hifiman Sundaras weigh in right at the same weight around 270 grams, yet these are surprisingly more comfortable. The Sundara is a large over ear style headphone, but the ear holes are round and they do make some contact with the top and bottom of my ears. However they are generally quite light and the weight is well distributed on the head band so until now they were some of the more comfortable headphones I've ever tried. The G Pro X Wireless are even more comfortable. Although they are the same weight, the G Pros feel lighter and fit over my ear better with an ear shaped cup. The cups surround my ears and seal around them rather than resting partially on the tops and bottoms. The seal is very good, yet somehow my ears don't get hot or sweaty even even after a few hours of playing Zombies in COD Cold War with my buddies. They are warmer than the open back headphones I'm used to wearing, but not so warm that they become uncomfortable. The weight is VERY well distributed on these headphones and it shows. This is made even better by the fact it's wireless since I feel no drag when turning my head and don't have to worry about draping cables down my shirt and across my desk.
Connection/Reliability:
I could not tell a difference between these and wired headphones. The connection was rock solid and completely stable. No interference, cut outs, or disruption. I could even walk down the hall to the kitchen on the other side of my condo to get a drink and still have perfectly clear sound coming through. Logi's light speed technology is industry leading and its no exception here. I’d also like to mention that this headset connects instantly. There is no pairing or waiting for connection, when you turn them on the audio starts flowing right away. Very impressed!
Microphone:
Probably the least stellar feature of all but definitely "good enough". The Blue voice involvement starts and ends with software, they unfortunately had no hand in the design or implementation of the microphone. The microphone physically is small and easy to manipulate, while also being entirely removable. I would definitely recommend experimenting with the advanced controls because out of the box the mic doesn't sound very good. You can tweak it to sound "good enough" but it is still a small boom mic and doesn't compare to a standalone studio cardioid mic by any means. For the most part, I'm using these headphones with the mic removed in conjunction with my desktop studio-style mic. If you are only using discord and in-game chat for communication, this mic will suffice. The great thing here is that you have the option to supplement with a better mic should you want to do any streaming, podcasts, or just prefer a richer sound.
Closing Thoughts:
Battery life is very good. Logitech claims 24 hours, and in my testing this seems to be pretty accurate. Charging (USB-C) is also very fast, and the headphones can be used while charging. It would have been nice to see a bluetooth connection but I understand why it wasn’t included at this price point (and it’s really not necessary for a gaming headset). There is also no auxiliary connection, but again not very necessary. It goes back to the trade-offs comment I made before and I think Logitech made the right decisions for this headset to find a great balance of price, performance, and convenience.

I've tried multiple wireless headsets: HyperX Cloud II Wireless, Razer Blackshark V2 Pro, and SteelSeries Arctis 9. The G Pro X Wireless definitely has the best sound. It's not the bassiest headset in the world (the Blackshark takes that crown), but it's natural and crisp sound and it's Blue Voice enabled microphone are hands-down some of the best you'll find at this price point.
However, it's missing features like 3.5 mm and Bluetooth that cheaper headphones like the Arctis 9 have and may be dealbreakers for some. But if you those are not dealbreakers for you, you don't mind the price, and wireless is a MUST HAVE, this is the headset to get. At the end of the day, wired headsets will sound much better than most wireless headphones, including these. I'll break down the pros and cons in the following:
Pros:
- Great build quality
- Neutral and professional look
- Very comfortable
- Natural and crisp sound
- Blue Voice enabled microphone is just magic
- Fine grain control with Logitech G Hub software
- Good directional awareness in video games
- Music listening experience is decent
- Sounds amazing with Dolby Atmos (see con)
- Swappable ear cushions
- Fits a variety of head sizes
- Battery lasts for at least a few play sessions
Cons:
- Expensive
- No white version??
- No 3.5 mm port
- No Bluetooth
- No game / chat mix dial
- No visual mute indicator
- Wireless connectivity at larger ranges and through walls is poor
- On the heavier side (but you don't really feel it)
- Can feel the drivers in the ear cups if you ears tend to stick out
- Can't turn ear cups
- Microphone is subpar without Blue Voice (e.g. on Mac)
- G Hub software doesn't detect the headset on Mac
- DTS sounds terrible
- Dolby Atmos cannot be easily enabled (in Windows 10 settings, go to Sound > Output > Device Properties > Spatial Sound > Dolby Atmos for Headphones)
Otherwise, if you're looking for other wireless options:
- Greatest bang for buck: Razer Blackshark V2 Pro
- Solid, no BS, no frills: HyperX Cloud II Wireless
- Complete package with all the bells and whistles: SteelSeries Arctis 9 or SteelSeries Arctis Pro

Excellent Build Quality and Sound

The short version – if you’re looking for a wireless headset of high quality build, great sound, comfortable design all without the traditional “gamer” aesthetic – this might be the one for you.
To elaborate, the design is great. Not just visually, but also functionally. Two different sets of ear pads – leatherette and a velour material. The frame and band are a thick metal construction with ample padding.
The audio is well balanced, both music and gaming sound fantastic. Sound is clear with adequate levels out of the box. The GHub software gives access to software profiles that let you adjust levels if needed. Nothing earth shattering here, but it’s nice to have.
The major shortcoming for me is the removable mic. Sound was flat and not clearest. I would classify it as average at best. Not something you’ll want to use for recording, but good enough for chat. I’m generally a solo gamer but testing quality in calls and chats has confirmed my mediocre first impression.
Beyond the mic, this really is an impressive wireless headset. I’m incredibly happy with the overall unit and plan on making it my new go to headset.
