I've tried multiple wireless headsets: HyperX Cloud II Wireless, Razer Blackshark V2 Pro, and SteelSeries Arctis 9. The G Pro X Wireless definitely has the best sound. It's not the bassiest headset in the world (the Blackshark takes that crown), but it's natural and crisp sound and it's Blue Voice enabled microphone are hands-down some of the best you'll find at this price point.
However, it's missing features like 3.5 mm and Bluetooth that cheaper headphones like the Arctis 9 have and may be dealbreakers for some. But if you those are not dealbreakers for you, you don't mind the price, and wireless is a MUST HAVE, this is the headset to get. At the end of the day, wired headsets will sound much better than most wireless headphones, including these. I'll break down the pros and cons in the following:
Pros:
- Great build quality
- Neutral and professional look
- Very comfortable
- Natural and crisp sound
- Blue Voice enabled microphone is just magic
- Fine grain control with Logitech G Hub software
- Good directional awareness in video games
- Music listening experience is decent
- Sounds amazing with Dolby Atmos (see con)
- Swappable ear cushions
- Fits a variety of head sizes
- Battery lasts for at least a few play sessions
Cons:
- Expensive
- No white version??
- No 3.5 mm port
- No Bluetooth
- No game / chat mix dial
- No visual mute indicator
- Wireless connectivity at larger ranges and through walls is poor
- On the heavier side (but you don't really feel it)
- Can feel the drivers in the ear cups if you ears tend to stick out
- Can't turn ear cups
- Microphone is subpar without Blue Voice (e.g. on Mac)
- G Hub software doesn't detect the headset on Mac
- DTS sounds terrible
- Dolby Atmos cannot be easily enabled (in Windows 10 settings, go to Sound > Output > Device Properties > Spatial Sound > Dolby Atmos for Headphones)
Otherwise, if you're looking for other wireless options:
- Greatest bang for buck: Razer Blackshark V2 Pro
- Solid, no BS, no frills: HyperX Cloud II Wireless
- Complete package with all the bells and whistles: SteelSeries Arctis 9 or SteelSeries Arctis Pro

I am very pleased with these headphones. Like many of the reviews state, the bass leaves more to be desired, but is hardly noticeable in games. If you are getting them for music or such, maybe go a little higher end? Other than that, they have a good weight to them, feel super high quality and are extremely comfortable.

Excellent Build Quality and Sound

The short version – if you’re looking for a wireless headset of high quality build, great sound, comfortable design all without the traditional “gamer” aesthetic – this might be the one for you.
To elaborate, the design is great. Not just visually, but also functionally. Two different sets of ear pads – leatherette and a velour material. The frame and band are a thick metal construction with ample padding.
The audio is well balanced, both music and gaming sound fantastic. Sound is clear with adequate levels out of the box. The GHub software gives access to software profiles that let you adjust levels if needed. Nothing earth shattering here, but it’s nice to have.
The major shortcoming for me is the removable mic. Sound was flat and not clearest. I would classify it as average at best. Not something you’ll want to use for recording, but good enough for chat. I’m generally a solo gamer but testing quality in calls and chats has confirmed my mediocre first impression.
Beyond the mic, this really is an impressive wireless headset. I’m incredibly happy with the overall unit and plan on making it my new go to headset.

This headset is amazing. The build quality and sound of it is great. It's lightweight so it doesn't hurt your head. It's wireless so you can go to the kitchen and grab a snack without worrying about not hearing your friend or game. I've had these headphones for almost 4 months now and they are the best headphones I have owned by far.

Simply plug in and play, my first wireless headset that truly feels wireless. Simply launch G-hub and have access to surround sound, and fine tune the headsets software. incredibly comfortable on the head even after hours of use. The battery life is phenomenal, and since it charges via USB-C it’s never a hassle to plug in at the end of the week

This is one of the most comfortable headsets I have ever worn. Coming from the Logitech G933's these are a huge improvement in terms of comfort. I do think the G933's have better bass response and a better overall sound quality. The G PRO X seems to not get very loud. That being said the sound quality is still very good and the battery life is phenomenal. The headset build quality seems very sturdy. Not hugely impressed by the mic but it works and sounds decent

As of right now, this is THE wireless gaming headset.
Pros:
Default sound qualities are great. Not audiophile great, but definitely a joy to listen to for gaming, music, and media
Wireless connectivity is on point. Very long range and so far I've had no issues with choppy connection or lag like with bluetooth
USB C charging
Cons:
The battery dies almost a little too soon every time.
The fit is not for everyone, although there are two earcup options which is nice.
They're a bit heavy
The sound mixer options are a pain to get right. I recommend just using a default
The mic is just okay. I wouldn't record a professional video with the mic but that's not what it's for anyway. People online can hear me nice and clear with the right preset.
USB C charging. Pro and a con because I like to see Logitech using type C now, but all the other high-end Logitech gear I have is on micro usb so I can't pop this headset on the same charger. I have to dig up a type C cable every time I wanna charge these, which is often
Overall these are high build quality with great surround sound, a perfectly fine mic, decent comfort, and great wireless connectivity. Pretty good value for the price. I can see myself replacing these with something with a better mic and a bit more comfort in a couple years. I would have absolutely loved to have noise cancellation, but I guess we'll have to wait for features like that one day. For now let's hope some firmware updates will give me more freedom to mess with the mixer and get a better sound out of these for music and movies.

I've bought this product twice. Easy setup, and comfortable to wear. The only reason I personally wouldn't give it a 5/5 is because of the random volume increase/decrease. It doesn't happen often, but it becomes inconvenient at times.

The build quality on these are amazing. I recently broke my Astro A50's, the sound quality on these are very good but I think Astro has them beat. The A50's are of course much more expensive by $100. The only thing I am not a fan of on the Logitech G Pro X is that the individual speakers do not rotate, I prefer to be able to rotate the speakers to adjust how well they lay around the ears. I love that they use type C to charge, points off the A50's for still using the flimsy slow MicroUSB connection. The claim to have a 20 hour use time on the Logitechs but my software says they are at 80% with estimated use of 20 hours left, and max charge leaves you with 24 hours of use. They feel very well made, as for the microphone I have not tested as I use a blue yeti for my mic and have never been a fan of headset/mic combos. They come with a nice carrying bag a pretty decent length USB C to USB A for charging, a dongle for wireless connectivity which worked immediately no setup required. I have never been a fan of G Hub software but its gotten better over time, you can setup surround sound 7.1 ( not bad for a virtual surround sound setup) a 10 band EQ with the option to download pre made EQ's from the community. That is a feature I LOVED about my Astro's- some people make crazy EQ settings for specific games and you can have 3 presets on a switch to change between your audio settings on the A50's. Side tone is adjustable, and theres a good amount of presets built into the Logitech G Hub for these headphones. I do wish they got a little bit louder.....

For the price point of this headset, it's really a great headset. Not only do I like the audio, but it's one of the more comfortable headsets that I've worn and the battery life is fantastic.
I originally bought the Arctis Pro wireless headset and returned it for this headset. One thing that concerns me about wireless headsets is battery life which is why I went with the arctis pro wireless because it comes with two batteries and as you're using one battery, the other is charging on the dock.
When I found out that this headset has a 20 hour battery life, I thought as well give it a shot and it indeed has a 20 hour battery life, even greater. The audio out of the box is also great and can even use the preset EQ's and was not disappointed with those either. What's also cool is that you can save profiles for different games so that when you load up certain games, it will automatically load the saved EQ's without even touching the software.
The quality of the headset is very good as well. The earcups are attached to the headband by metal and gives it a very durable and strong feel. Adjusting the headset was no problem at all for me, but I know I have seen some other comments saying that they've had a hard time adjusting it to their head.
I highly recommend this headset for the casual or serious gamer

Excellent Build and Fit but Missing Stuff

Pros:
* Excellent build quality.
* Physical power button (slides for on/off).
* Mute button with audio feedback.
* Comfortable fit.
* Includes swappable foam ear pads and carrying pouch.
Cons:
* Boom microphone has no button or LED for mute.
* Provided software doesn’t install on vanilla Windows computer.
My Review:
For gaming headsets, there are a few must-haves; comfortable fit for wearing during long-duration sessions and great sound quality. This Logitech G PRO X headset does both. The built quality is superb, from the metallic accents on the sides to the simple and sleek metal arms.
Unfortunately, that’s where the good stuff ends. The boom microphone is nice enough but unlike some competitors, this microphone is an analog plug so there is no mute button or mute status LED on the boom itself. Sure, there’s a physical push-push button on the left ear to mute the microphone, and you do get a nice audio beep either way, but I prefer the headsets that put these things on the boom itself so I don’t have to feel for one of the several buttons on the ear cup that I can’t see.
To get the most out of this headset (similar to others), you need to download and install their G HUB software. After weeks of trying and numerous calls to tech support, the software still doesn’t install on my vanilla Microsoft Surface Book 3 notebook. One would think that the most recent Microsoft-branded notebook would be able to install the software, but nope.
The provided USB dongle is a tad large, too. It’s got a USB-A plug and most newer notebooks have USB-C ports, so you might need to find an adapter or hub to plug it into. At least this headset charges with a USB-C cable (provided).
Overall, I can’t recommend this headset simply because the software won’t install, tech support couldn’t help, and there are competing products out there with a nicer set of features. The build quality is great, but that doesn’t matter if you can’t use them to their fullest potential.

This logitech does the work you need, it has good audio, has surround setting, you can edit on the logitech software how much bass/treble, the wireless range is great for an apt size, the battery is the main reason that I give it 5 star, it last around 40ish hours.
Mic does it job well, you will not have much complain about it, the mute button is accessible which is nice.
They are very comfortable after long period of use and even brings different materials earpads in the box if you feel like changing it. Audio is very good, it may be a little close to Studio Headset quality for a wireless device.
if you can get this headset on sale.... I recommend it.

My first set of Logitech headphones and I’m very pleased with the performance.
Had an older pair of Corsair headphones that finally needed to be replaced. Went to store and tried 4 different brands (all wireless) and picked out these. They were very comfortable and I liked the option of having the choice of ear covers.
I’m not a pro-gamer and these sound great to me. I only use them for gaming and have no complaints about them at all.
For the mid range price, the build quality is great. Was looking at more expensive models and the difference in sound and comfort didn’t justify the additional cost.

I have been wanting to purchase this headset since they announced a wireless version, but I wanted to wait and see some of the other reviews first. After reading some of the reviews, I decided to pull the trigger, and I am so happy that I did! First, they look fantastic. It is made with a combination of high quality plastic and metal, which makes it feel both sturdy and light. They are very comfortable to wear, and even include a separate pair of fabric ear cups if that's more your style. Wearing them for long periods of time is no problem, and doesn't hurt your head like some other headsets do. The sound quality is impeccable, especially for gaming. I can really hear which direction sounds are coming from, which is a huge plus. Connecting to the Logitech G-Hub software is seamless, and easily allows you to customize different aspects of the sound/mic. Perhaps my favorite feature is the wireless connectivity, switching from a wired headset has made me realize how amazing a wireless headset is. All in all, I am very pleased and impressed with this headset. If you are on the fence about buying the wired or wireless version, spending the extra money for the wireless is 100% worth it, and you won't be disappointed!

Has Great Sound. Works excellent with Dolby Atmos for head phones with windows. Surround sound is awesome when playing games, and movies just seem to come alive within your head. Highly recommend. Great on battery. Audio for mic is always crisp and clear. No feed backs, and just a touch of a button and muted. Would definitely buy again, but hopefully not for awhile. ; ) Very comfortable, and comes with leather and soft felt type ear cups that you can change out.

I recently purchased the Logitech G PRO X Wireless Gaming Headset for PC, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in many ways. From its stellar sound quality to its remarkable comfort, this headset has truly enhanced my gaming experience.
Let's start with the sound quality. The audio produced by this headset is simply amazing. Whether I'm diving into the depths of a virtual world or enjoying a movie marathon, the immersive sound quality never fails to impress. What's even better is the customization options available through the Logitech G HUB software. Being able to fine-tune the sound to my preferences adds an extra layer of immersion to my gaming sessions.
Although I primarily use a standalone microphone, I gave the headset's mic a try, and I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did it deliver clear and crisp audio, but my friends also commented on its quality during gaming sessions. It's reassuring to know that the headset's mic is more than capable of providing reliable communication when needed.
Comfort is another area where the Logitech G PRO X excels. The leather foam padding feels luxurious and provides excellent cushioning, even during long gaming sessions. It's a relief to be able to focus on the game without constantly readjusting or feeling discomfort.
What's impressive is that this headset isn't limited to gaming alone. I've found it to be equally enjoyable for watching movies, thanks to its exceptional audio quality and immersive experience. It's a versatile companion for all my entertainment needs.
One feature that's particularly noteworthy is the Bluetooth range. With a reach of about 20 feet in my house, I have the freedom to move around without worrying about losing connection. This level of reliability adds to the overall convenience and enjoyment of using the headset.
In summary, the Logitech G PRO X Wireless Gaming Headset for PC is a fantastic investment for any gamer or multimedia enthusiast. Its combination of superb sound quality, customization options, microphone performance, comfort, versatility, and reliable wireless connectivity make it a standout choice in the market. If you're in the market for a high-quality gaming headset that delivers on all fronts, look no further than the Logitech G PRO X.
