Best Buy: Arrived earlier than expected, undamaged, brand new, accurate description When I bought it the headset was $27.99 on Bestbuy which was cheaper than other sellers and is an excellent Price for above average starter headphones. Logitech G332: 3.6/5 on mic, 3.8/5 on sound quality, Overall 3.7/5 These Headphones are a great starter headset, would highly recommend if you are just getting into gaming or are just looking for budget headphones that work great and are decently comfortable. Includes: 3 foot-ish wire connected to headphones, (1) seperate audio and mic splitter, volume wheel on headphones, UN-detachable mic, adjustable frame. (BestBuy has more details, please read) *Heads up: Although it says the mic mutes when flipped up, I have experienced that it does not it just muffles the sound so its quieter. If you are loud enough or the sounds on the headphones are loud enough, the mic will still pick it up.

Writing this review after 2 days of purchasing two other, more expensive and highly reviewed headphones that I KNEW would not be like the ones I purchased here. That's the difference between listening to others advice and simply reading the technical specifications of the manufacturer and knowing EXACTLY how the product is going to perform based on those specs. For $49.99 (plus tax) this is probably one of THE BEST purchases I've made in terms of value-to-quality I've made in a quite some time (this entire computer in 2012 as well as the longevity and outpacing of 95% of what's out there with 5-6 years ahead of it was probably THE best). Prior to today, I was using the Corsair Vengeance 1500 V2 for some 10 years and they finally broke for good. If you try to find them now, they've gone up in price, from between 2-3 time and even 10 times what I paid for them, no lie. They had the best processor for Dolby II, DTS & 2.0/5.1/7.1 Surround and the sound was clean, not muddy, not brash or too bright, and the frequency response was good enough to drop some bass through. For video games, you were hearing people in any direction, 360 degrees around horizontally, 360 degrees around vertical (above and under) as well as panning at any direction. Guy walking in brush and you could pop your head up and know exactly where to aim. Sounds in the distance and oncoming planes, tanks, whatever... and again, you knew at what distance and it only enhanced the visual experience even greater. So I salvaged them for a very long time, even using duct tape to keep them together... but like all good things, they come to a final end. Now the problem was, where was I going to find something that rivaled them and not pay an arm and a leg to do so. First things first and I knew I had to start with at least a 50mm speaker so as to induce the proper bass tones I needed. A frequency response of 20-20,000, (with companies like Sennheiser always advertising 12-44,000Hz, ranges that most studios neither use at either end as they are both inaudible, unusable and could damage 95-99% of the rest of speakers out there). But SNR is important and so at a sensitivity of107 +/-3dB and you're talking a very clean sound coming out of them. Before I even installed their G-Hub software (which enables all of the DTS surround features, as well as graphic equalizers and more) I tested these plugged directly into Windows 7 to listen to the flat response with no EQ. SMILES FROM EAR TO EAR as I didn't hear some muddy, hollow or low level sound that needed to be boosted (with an impedance of 39 Ohms (passive), 5k Ohms (active) why would I?) and then tried it with some EQ shaping and it was brilliant on both passes. At no time did I hear any distortion, crackling, feedback, hum or clashing of frequencies and the EQ I tested on could be configured for 15 or 31 band, with customizable settings on the Hz of each band. Installing the G-Hub software was easy, intuitive and worked without any conflicts (which is usually a finger crossing experience on a Windows 7 for most people... but my machine is lean and clean and free of bloatware or Microsoft's mitts on it). The testing panel for surround sound and with it's own EQ system were again, straightforward and the demo for the surround was excellent in that it lets you shape the sound that sounds best for your ears, per speaker, delay, distance and +/-db levels per individual 7.1 channel. Now, if this sounds like overkill to you, you should know something about me first... I have SUPER sensitive hearing and perfect pitch. So much so that I can pick out and identify sounds that are often inaudible to others. In fact, I had a 7.1 home theater system back some 20 years ago and I noticed that with some DVD Blu-Ray titles, there was a terrible popping sound, sounding more like the sound of "Ffffffttt" and only when the scenes were loud, action packed and kicking in the DTS surround or similar. It wasn't on every title, but enough that I noticed it throughout many titles. I brought the main unit to a local dealer as it was under warranty yet and they said they couldn't find anything wrong. I hooked it up and sure enough, it was still there. They tried listening again, this time with high quality speakers in a special soundproof room and with equipment that picks up electrical hum and other sound phenomena. The guy calls me up from the shop and says, "Sir, you must have ears like a dog because we hooked this thing up and every, single scene you said you noticed the problem, our ears in the shop couldn't hear it, but our equipment probes picked it up exactly." (I had written down scenes with times at where I heard the problem and was correct on all of them). He then laughed and said, "Would you like a job? Not for nothing, but I'd hate to have your sense of hearing, it must be annoying". Like you have no idea. Anyway, all I can say is, if you are looking for gaming headphones that can also handle sound AND, ones that aren't made for tiny heads or for teenagers and kids the same, these things expand quite a bit and don't make you feel like a vice clamp is on the sides of your head. The sound quality is superb and the value again, is what we all need in a product like this. Good luck on your future purchases!

I never write reviews, but this headset is amazing and I wanted to tell people to go for this one if you're on the fence. Ignore all the "professional" reviews found on Google searches saying these are just alright or mediocre. These really shine when plugged in via USB and Logitech's G Hub software is enabled. If you do not use the USB adapter and simply plug them in like normal headphones, they sound like anything else with 50mm drivers. Backstory: I have been running high-quality Sony MDR-7506 studio headphones for years and wanted to pick up a new headset with a mic built in. I originally tried some other gaming headsets in this price range, but I was never happy with the sound quality (especially looking at you, Astro A10...utter garbage), so they were returned. After plugging in via USB and turning on surround sound in Logitech G Hub, I was instantly blown away. These provide better audio quality than the Sony MDR-7506, which is the standard for many audio engineers. There is no reason to get anything more expensive unless you need special features like lighting effects / different soundstage. Downsides: there is slightly more clamping force than some other headsets. The foam pads are pretty terrible. Neither of these are deal breakers. If you want to make these 100x more comfortable, add Noisefighters silicone gel-filled ear pads with glue backing. They're not a perfect fit since the original pads are weirdly shaped, but the Noisefigthers makes this G432 more comfy than any headset on the market (I'm serious, these are now more comfortable than my friend's $2000+ Sennheiser's)...all at $100 total. 5/5 buy this.

I bought these for work, the sound is exquisite, the clarity of my customers on the line are exceptional and when I use them for gaming or music **chefs kiss** to top it off the price is incomparable.

I’ve had the original from 2010 it just broke so I’m not upgrading to this new version . I would say if you are Pc gaming this is a phenomenal buy for the price and the sound quality you get .

I’m a avid gamer and I’ve been using tons of earphone headsets but they’ve often disappointed me as they break at the hunches or end up losing sound after a few months. “Looking at you turtle beach”. I saw the G430 on sale for Black Friday last year and bought them and they have been perfect since purchase to now. I also bought these G432 since they are an upgraded version of the G430 and they are much better than the previous iteration.

These worked exactly as I expected them to. Although it says the connector says that it is USB these are a 3.5mm but they do come with a USB adapter so in the end I will be able to use these on more than just my PC. Sound is good. They are comfortable even with my glasses.

Great headset, I switched to this from the Razor Kraken Tournament Edition headset and I would definitely recommend this headset over those ANY day. my braided cord on my kraken headset busted at the switch button and completely cut out the ability to use them altogether. I found these when they were on sale and was sketchy that something originally priced a little high was dropped at such a low price. I was referred by a worker that they personally used this headset and wouldnt recomment anything else so I took his word and I’m so glad I did. you get amazing sharp surround sound quality. I play agressive PVP life simulator PC games and these are perfect for being able to hear shots and footsteps from any direction and help pinpoint where the sound is coming from.

Amazing sound quality with multiple buttons on Headphones that can be changed to do other things to help gamers like myself be more comfortable and make it easier to change sound profiles is wonderful. the ear pads are very comfortable although not the most comfortable I found that they're the most adjustable especially when having them rest on your neck when talking to someone outside of the game it was really neat. The extendable mic. blew me away because there wasn't aware that it was capable of doing that and of course having a bigger head it's very easy to adjust the length of the headphones by far my favorite and best headphones I've ever tried or had thank you Logitech!

Got this product for my Great grandson for playing with his Xbox. I'm going back to buy one for myself. Great product!

These headphones overall are very nice. However, I use these for pc and you need software to activate surround sound. I would imagine the sound quality is pretty bad without the Logitech software used to enable the surround sound. But I haven’t used anything other than pc.

It looked good at first, nice microphone, sounds good enough with sufficient bass, not earth shattering, great options with mute/volume but at exactly 1 year the hinge on one of the cups broke and it's now dangling off the support by the wire. I am so surprised they actually used plastic clips at the hinge which can easily break with light usage. Very disappointed, it's almost disintegrated due to poor molding/plastic quality.

This headset is awesome, I love them! It’s got a pretty good fit & feel to them with great sound! I pretty much use them for gaming on my pc. They make you look cool wearing them too.
