When I got these today, I was first impressed with the presentation. The box is amazing, has a great look, and a magnetic clasp. Very nice. Inside you'll find a well laid out product, with protection from moving around and damage. Under the headphones is a box with a pouch, and inside the pouch you'll find some different cables, and a microphone boom mic. Wow, really, a boom mic! I really like that because too many headphones today expect your voice to radiate to the mic in the headphones and it never works right. The pouch to keep the cables and boom mic in is a really nice touch! So, once I got out the headphones, I noticed the cloth blue camo. I wasn't sure it would work with a set of headphones, but it totally does. The soft cloth is nice because it isn't the typical cold metal. And they have a nice feel, they are light, but they are solid. There is an input for a boom mic (which is included) and another jack for the connection to your game system for audio from that device. I fired them up and I have to say, I like what I hear. I found sufficient bass and a decent amount of treble. I'm running these on my macbook pro retina, and just the basic sound card. I'm getting good in and out using as a headset. I've tried them on an Iphone, same thing, decent quality both speaking and listening. The amount of sound is good, the way the sound radiates out of the headphone speakers is good, and really I have to say this was a well designed plan for a set of headphones/headset. I haven't tried them with my game system yet, but I don't need to, to appreciate them. They cover your ears, they sound great, they are cloth and not cold metal, and it comes with a boom mic! There is nothing more I could ask for in a headset. Nice job Logitech, and thank you for putting so much into an affordable headset.

Very nice entry level 7.1 surround gaming headset, huge difference compare to 2.0 ones and worth every penny.

Bought these on sale. Use them for both Xbox and PS4 and they work great with fantastic sound quality.

It doses everything you would want but the mic quality is pretty poor and quiet, it’s not very flexible either so it’s hard to get closer to your mouth.

The Logitech G433's are a definite improvement over the G430's. Build quality seems to be improved from the last generation. They are lightweight and flexible, but do not feel cheap or flimsy. They cloth texture on the outside is unique and stylish. Although it is purportedly stain resistant, I'm not sure what I will do when they get dirty. The overall design is simple and the headset looks fantastic. They are initially comfortable, however, I found myself replacing the fabric ear cups after 20 minutes because they were too abrasive against my skin. I'm very happy that Logitech includes a set of microfiber ear cups, that made the headset much more comfortable. However, they don't breathe very well so my ears got a bit sweaty after long gaming sessions. The headband seems a bit tight at first, but time will tell if the tension gets better. I also really like the modular cables, headset and microphone can be unplugged for transport. These are comfortable for long gaming sessions. Sound quality is very nicely balanced. High, mids and lows are heard clearly. Bass won't blow out your eardrums, but give enough presence. Since this is a gaming headset, the 7.1 surround is on point. Playing FPS's or games that rely on directional audio is where this headset really shines. The microphone is an improvement from the previous generation. While chatting with friends in Discord, they immediately noticed an improvement in my audio quality. But I would not use this mic solely for audio recording. Since the microphone is detachable, it allows this headset to be worn casually for music. The USB adapter allows you to achieve 7.1 surround sound on a PC. Otherwise the various cables allow you to connect to phones, tablets, Xbox, PS4 or even PC to get normal stereo. I like the accessories. The additional cables have braided jackets and have a nice feel to them. They all tuck nicely into a zippered cord pouch and they can be added with the headset into a larger zippered pouch for transport. I'm thankful for the extra earpads. The original earpads were abrasive enough that micro-movements from turning my head scratched my skin. The Logitech G433's are a little pricey for the performance. Since Kingston HyperX Cloud II's have fallen under $99, I would still choose them over the G433's. The microphone boom isn't as flexible as I'd like it to be. The microphone picks up my voice and plays it through my headset. The closer I have the mic to my face, the louder the noise gets. I'm not fond of this, but others may like it. Overall, a nice headset. I would have no problems recommending it to a friend over the previous generation.

I wish there was an option to put 0 stars. Remember back in the day when you had to record your own ringtones by holding your flip phone up to a speaker that was playing your favorite song? Ok, well imagine you were recording a recording...... of another recording. Thats how this headset sounds. This headset is garbage. I downloaded the Logitech software, messed with EQ settings, tried different ports, tried with and without surround sound on.... no solution. Logitech support never picked up the phone, never messaged me back via twitter. I guess it’s possible I got a defective headset, but after years on years of using Logitech products I’ve never had any problems. If you’re looking for the best in the same price range get the Corsair HS60.

This is a great headset and it is a great value. The 7.1 channel surround is great for gaming or watching content with surround sound. The mic is more than good enough to use for voice chat and even the occasional voice recording. The headset is comfortable and only starts to cause some discomfort after several hours of use.
