Good Value. Very Lightweight. Comfy.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headsets are very lightweight and comfortable to wear. Audio clarity is pretty good and the bass is decent to good. Ear pads are replaceable and the boom mic is detachable which is nice for transporting the headset. Overall the design, fit and sound are worth the price. A quality affordable 7.1 headset that I definitely recommend to anyone.

Comfortable and Quality
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset is lightweight and does the job, which is really all you can ask for, right? But then, there's also a cool aesthetic (liked the blue camo) and actually useful accessories and touches, like the detachable mic boom, extra ear cups and fabric case which are a great bonus. The most important thing is--do they work? Yup. They work really well gaming on both PC and PS4 with really good, 3D sound... you can really hear the sound effects, music and chat voices from multiple directions. These are not headphones that will cancel out other sounds in the room... but if you crank the volume up loud enough, you will have trouble hearing anything else. The sound quality through the mic is also really good... My husband and I tested them in group chat on PS4 with him using the Logitech mic and me using another pair of good headphones, and his voice from this mic came through crystal clear. Great for team gaming! We're sold. Comfort is also a win. He and his big head found them very comfortable and I with my small head and glasses on my ears found them cozy for long sessions as well. Highly recommended!

A Great Gaming Headset
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech G433 gaming headset sounds amazing. It is also super comfortable. The blue camouflage looks awesome, and the fact that the ear pads are washable is great, so you can keep the headphones looking good. The detachable boom microphone is nice, so it can be removed when you aren't using the headset for chat functionality. This, paired with the inline controls make it great for watching movies or other videos, as you can control the sound from the comfort of your viewing position instead of having to et back to your PC to adjust the sound. It is important to note, however, that the 7.1 surround sound functions only work with PC and PC VR. You will have stereo sound when using these headphones with gaming consoles or a Mac.

Good quality sound and construction
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This new headset from Logitech is attractive, well built, comfortable for long gaming sessions, and offers high quality sound. The headset comes packaged with a really nice carrying bag, multiple connecting cables to fit consoles and phones, and a USB device that provides a high quality DAC for simulated positional audio on PCs. The set also includes a detachable boom mic for multiplayer chat. Finally, there is a spare set of padded ear cups which is a nice touch. I tested the G433 on a Windows 10 PC and an XBox One and will cover each in turn. The XBox One connection is made via the Xbox controller with attached headset adapter. Although the sparse documentation suggests that the headset supports only stereo sound on Xbox, recent XBox software updates allow you to enable Windows Sonic for Headphones to provide software simulated surround sound. I found the Xbox experience to be at least as good as the official MS headset, probably better sounding and certainly more comfortable over the long haul. On PC, I installed the included USB DAC. Windows 10 identified the device correctly and installed drivers automatically and the set worked just fine. Although I didn't see this in the directions, Logitech also has "Logitech Gaming Software" which according to the G433 product page on their website must be installed in order to activate the 7.1 effect via the USB DAC. I tried the set with and without the Logitech software, and the Logitech drivers definitely do make a difference. My comments about quality are based on usage with the software installed. On the PC, the USB DAC provided subjectively high quality sound. While I didn't try to do formal tests of distortion or other metrics, the setup sounded great to my ears with no discernible background hiss and very clear, smooth audio rendering. I tested the positional audio in multiple games and the effect worked quite well for me. I could definitely tell the direction from which in-game voices and ambient sounds were coming. In Far Cry 4 the effect was especially pronounced and I could clearly hear the sound moving among the 7 potential positions. That said, there are also some occasional processing artifacts related to the Logitech software, none of which I heard without those drivers installed. The primary one I noticed is that some sounds, especially voices, occasionally had an over-processed sound and/or echo to them. It sounded a bit like they were in a tunnel even though the game environment may have been out in the open. I suspect the drivers will get updated with time. Overall, I really like these headphones. The quality of sound and construction is great, they open weave fabric makes them cool to wear, and they come with a solid range of accessories that were clearly made with gamers in mind. Even the connecting audio cable is nicely made with a woven fabric cable cover that should resist kinking and fraying. The occasional processing artifacts in the software keep this set from earning a 5-star rating, but I think this will improve with time and the set is still enjoyable to use even with this minor issue. If you enjoy PC gaming, this is a great choice. If you want a great PC 7.1 headset that also handles console play, this is a slam dunk.

Good looking, comfortable, great sounding headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted this headset because I liked the way it looked on the display. I liked how the same material on the earpads is used around the outside too. It is a fantastic looking headset. It is also very comfortable even with the original pads it comes with. There are a different set of pads if you don't like the ones which are already installed. It also sounds amazing and I like the fact that the 3.5 wire and the mic are removable. Also I am happy that the cups rotate so you can rest the headset comfortably around your neck. If you're thinking about this headset think no more. Just get it.

Misses the mark on comfort ...
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After breaking these cans in for several weeks I can say that I am honestly shocked at how well they perform/sound. They could use a tad bit more gain to their maximum volume output but I won't dock the overall rating for it - as many of the current offerings of head sets have this same issue. The inline volume dial is nicely placed. I'm not a huge fan of the typical driver software that accompanies gaming head sets but Logitech has actually done a nice job integrating the controls for the G433's into their already mature Gaming Software app and the various controls are intuitive and straight forward. I am also wary to the effect many software installations for peripherals can have on an operating system and pay close attention to Event logs. I can confidently report that the Logitech software doesn't cause errors or disrupt Windows in any noticeable way. Good job Logitech! I ran through many of the games in my Steam library and found them all to sound on par with the Steel Series cans I had been using. The sound field was very spacial, dynamic and immersive. The pseudo surround mode works but not to my liking - but that is a common problem and I have yet to find a head set that does a good job with simulated surround sound - so I won't hold anything against this particular head set. The construction is solid except for one major aspect - the head band. Personally I prefer head sets that incorporate an inside suspension band. The G433's feel solid in hand, I like the detachable microphone and the ear cups articulate nicely to match the contours of a head - but the solid head band as designed is very uncomfortable after just 1 hour of game play. That's really unfortunate. With head shapes being such a huge variable, your mileage may very, but the simplest solution would be for Logitech to design in a secondary suspension band - and then I would call this head set near perfect. Because of this I am deducting one star from my rating. Summary Full fidelity and excellent control via software. Head set feels solid in hand and the articulating ear cups are very flexible - but both versions of the cup pads are very stiff when new - only time will tell on how well they break in and hold up to use. Restricted, top-end volume gain - but typical for the price point. The camo blue is very cool but I would prefer the red ones if I had a choice. Uncomfortable head band needs a redesign. The inside padding is inadequate and simply not good enough to support a long game play duration. I can only recommend this head set with the obvious caveat that there is potential for discomfort. Give them a try and see how they work out for you.

A good headset, but ...
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's the G433 Wired 7.1 Gaming Headset. I got the box, began opening it, and I had some serious anticipation on hearing my Xbox one played through this thing. Before I talk about that, let me talk a little about the packaging and build of the G433. Packaging is top notch. It sports the more refined magnetic box fold design, with extremely sturdy, covered cardboard. Once I got it open, I was surprised. The headset looks a bit toy-ish. It's light, but sturdy, and has decent flexibility. Both ear cups are fully covered in fabric. The fabric felt soft, but a tad abrasive to the finger touch - had me concerned about comfort. When I placed the headset on, it was actually very comfortable and snug. Not the best I have worn, but comfortable enough for extended play. Also in the box were wiring for both PC and stereo connection, a mic boom, a case for wiring, a case for the headset, and some additional ear pads - everything needed for play and storage. Nice! Well, I took a look at the instructions so I could get a good handle on connectivity to my devices, and... 7.1 only on PC! What!?! Every other device (gaming systems) have only stereo output. This was very disappointing. I was thinking I could plug the digital audio connector (USB) into my Xbox and configure it to for surround use... Uh... No. This had me feeling very 2-3 star like! Well, what saved the G433 for me was the sound. Once I connected it to my different gaming systems, it delivered crystal clear, crisp and accurate sound. The sound is very balanced - not too heavy in any range. It also does a decent job with surround when connected to a PC. I think Logitech needs to be a little more straight forward about the features, or lack of flexibility, but the headset is well built, comfortable, and performs well. Overall, I recommend the G433 for the casual gamer and the laptop toting, portable PC gamer. It is good sound in a comfortable package, and Logitech provides everything needed to complete the experience.

Lightweight, Great Sound
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are lightweight and very comfortable, and are made with a very cool woven fabric material..They look and feel great. They also come with a velour texture extra set of earpads. The sound for the price point is excellent, good surround effect and excellent dynamic range. The bass could be a bit stronger. It also comes with a stick mic and inline mic and controls making it very versatile for pc and mobile use. The stick mic quality is just ok,

The Best Headset for Gamers
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had plenty of experience with this headset, logging in over 12+ hours in raid battles and these are awesome!!!. I can't say enough about these sets, you can truly hear troops coming from behind or any direction. Let alone these are so comfortable for prolong use and airy. So light, great color easy to use on laptop, tablet, cellphone comes with everything you need. Also doesn't take that much power connected to those devices, especially cellphone. If your looking for gaming headsets w/mic these are the ones you'll want.

Pretty nice
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're looking for some pretty decent headphones with a pretty decent microphone, this is probably where you want to look. They're wired, so obviously you have to be OK with that but the number of attachments and different ways you can use these make them pretty attractive. The mic is also detachable in case you don't need that. You can hook these to your computer with the included USB adapter or you can connect them to any, standard 3.5mm jack. They sound nice and, from what my twitch stream told me, the microphone sounds on par with my G933 headphones. Not a lot of downsides if this is the kind of thing you are in the market for. They were also pretty comfortable for 5 hours while I was streaming with them. The only downsides I found were, the plug going into the headphones has to be very snuggly inserted. I thought it was good, but it was making a lot of noise if it got touched or moved around. I just twisted it and pushed it in a little bit more and that went away. Also, the microphone is flexible but you'll probably (naturally) bend it towards your face. This makes it a little harder to have a drink while wearing the microphone without hitting it. Solution for this would be to just leave the microphone kind of pointing straight out. I didn't find any issues with sound quality this way. Bottom line. Good headphones. Good mic. Lots of attachments and configurations. Would recommend if you're looking for wires headphones for your PC, PS4, Xbone or Switch.

Good Sound/Better Fit
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech G433 provides a better than most audio experience. You can really immerse yourself in 3D audio from your games which adds to the experience. It is a flexible headset that can serve as a wired headphone set or headset for gaming on your PC/Console. I appreciate that it can be used for both gaming and music/phone/headphones. The microphone performance is good and I like that it can be detached if you simply want to use it for a listening experience. The fit and feel of this headset is above that for most...even those three times it's price. It's big enough to fit even those with dumbo ears but still fits firmly (but not too firm) around those with smaller ears. As far as sound quality, I would rate it at a 4 simply because the sound could come across as a bit flat noted. It can lack depth but still provides a very immersive 3D surround experience. Overall, the Logitech G433 is an easy to use and nicely built wired headset. Obviously, I prefer wireless. However, I think this is a very nice gaming headset for the pricepoint and is worth the extra money for what you get. Pros: -What's included (headset, mobile 3.5mm cable with inline mic, USB Digital to analog converter, PC splitter, carrying case, PC/console cable with mic mute and volume control, and a second set of over ear covers) -Price -Simplicity -3D Surround Cons: -Not wireless -Can lack some premium depth of sound quality

Not worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The price for these are high so you have high expectations.. but sadly the sound quality is just as good as a $50 headset. Its very bulky and not comfortable to wear. I hated them on my head and the noise bleeds through.
