I have the G502 wired version in my stable of mice. It was my go to mouse after so so so so much testing of the other mice I own. Perfect amount of extra buttons in very nice spots, great responsiveness and all that. Basically this is just that mouse but wireless. To me it acts in the same manner I was accustomed to with the wired version the light speed tech seems to do as it promises. My only issue is and it’s not even with the mouse it’s the g hub software. I also own the light speed mouse mat and the g910 keyboard and the g933 headset and I love all the products but the software can be a little buggy and weird at times. After some serious tinkering I have seemed to get things working well enough but it’s definitely not as easy as razer software.

I have used Razer Mamba before this, and a few others before this. No mouse comes close to this gaming mouse. Absolutely love it. Long lasting battery as well. Its light weight with optional weights. Very low latency and fits my palm very well.
Thanks for the awesome review! We're thrilled the G502 Lightspeed is delivering top-tier performance and customization for your gaming setup. Those custom DPI profiles really do make each game feel tailor-made.

Feels great ergonomically and has the weights to customize the feel. One thing to point out is the software gets annoying IMO, if you are not actively moving the mouse for an amount of time, and then move the mouse, the DPI setting is forgotten by the software so moving the mouse will trigger it again and you will get a pop-up on the bottom right of the screen telling you the DPI setting is being applied. Why can't it just be applied all of the time? Wish we could just set a default number and never have to acknowledge or interact with the software whatsoever. Too many peripherals these days want to force their software, so if you have a keyboard, mouse, headset etc from any various manufacturers you have to think about their software.
Lastly, for the price I wish they'd include Bluetooth functionality for versatility if needed. This mouse is pretty old and it seems Bluetooth comes standard in many other manufacturers mice, but not Logitech stuff.
The Razer basilisk is the same shape as this one, their are $40 entry model even has Bluetooth.

Great mouse that I bought to replace my double clicking G502 Hero and the switch to wireless from wired is hardly even noticeable. Battery life with lights turned low is so good I sometimes forget it needs to be charged as I don’t play quite as much as I used to.
We're thrilled to hear you're finding the G502 Lightspeed a great replacement and that the switch to wireless is seamless! It's fantastic that you're so impressed with the battery life, even with the lights on. Thank you for your positive feedback!

Love this mouse, little heavy but that’s how I prefer it, great for every game I’ve tried so far. Battery last about 3 days for me which is perfect.

I'm very happy with this mouse and I love that you can balance the weight of the mouse. One-click adjustable DPI 400-6400. Mapping the buttons is fairly easy via the Logitec G hub. I also got the wireless charging mouse pad so I never have to plug the mouse in to charge.
We're delighted to hear your Logitech G502 Lightspeed Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse is proving to be a solid choice! It's great that you appreciate its light feel, convenient wirelessness, and extra buttons, and that it's been performing flawlessly for you. Thanks for the positive feedback!

The last mouse I purchased was the 700s in 2014. A lot has changed since then and this mouse is awesome. From the finer details like being able to customize the LED to the optional weights, powerplay recharge capability, and plenty of buttons to customize macros it is everything I could ever want. Perfect for productivity and gaming, including one-click adjustable DPI with an amazing range in sensitivity. It is tough to go back to the economy mice used in the office after enjoying this one at home!
Your return to Logitech after a decade, specifically with the Logitech G502, clearly marks a significant and positive upgrade from your 2014 model. It's rewarding to hear your appreciation for the detailed advancements, from the customizable LED and optional weights to the Powerplay recharge capability and ample macro-programmable buttons.
Your description of it as "everything I could ever want" for both productivity and gaming, highlighted by the one-click adjustable DPI and impressive sensitivity range, truly showcases its versatility. We understand why transitioning back to standard office mice might be challenging after experiencing the G502's capabilities!

Swapped out my G703 for this so I could have more buttons and different scroll mode for my wheel and I love it. Wish it worked with the PowerPlay mousepad though. Ghub software is trash too, keep that in mind.

So far it has been solid. Great battery life and it hasn't failed to work yet. The wireless charging pad on the other hand is a pile of garbage. It didn't last a couple months and quit working. This thing has enough battery to make it through a long work week without charging so the wireless thing isn't a must have. I just plug it in every once in a while at this point. I would 10/10 buy this over again.
G502 mouse good, wireless charging pad not so much. Mouse lasts a long time on battery and works well.

This is a great gaming mouse from Logitech. You can add weights if you want it heavier which is a good feature for a gaming mouse. It's a little smaller form factor vs. the Logitech MX mouse. Overall, its a great performing mouse.

You know and love Logitech for their high quality and excellent quality control. This is a top end gaming mouse and so much of the difference from one company to the next is how it feels in your hand. The one thing that sets Logitech apart is the free spinning scroll wheel. This is an excellent mouse, the wheel is what takes the cake for me.
We’re grateful you took the time to share your thoughts. It’s wonderful to know our product is meeting your expectations.

Most versatile Wireless Gaming Mouse

While most people will recommend the Logitech G pro wireless mouse for competitive gaming. I would say the G502 light speed is one of the best wireless gaming mouse for all genres of gaming. Where it gives you 11 programmable buttons and the Logitech software is actually good. Where it has a vast list of games where you can program the buttons to do what you want and will automatically be binded when you launch the game. Decent battery life and quick charge makes it so you are never worrying about a dead mouse. Only complaint is that the charging port is micro USB and not USB C (Champagne problems).
