It's an OK mouse with excellent battery life.

I'll get the things I don't care for out of the way first, there's a few. First the scroll wheel, I don't like it at all now that I'm used to the dual mode metal scroll wheels on several of Logitech's other offerings. This scroll wheel reminds me of the old Logitech mice, I don't know why the exclusion of the hyper scroll wheel on this model. The buttons to the left of the left-click as well as the side buttons all feel like sort of an afterthought rather that the mouse being designed around them (think G502). That's my main reasons for docking a pair of stars from this product, but other than that it's a nice mouse if you can grab one on sale. The battery life and battery type (two regular AA batteries) is a big plus and makes this a mouse to consider. If it weren't for my two previous complaints I would use this mouse... but fortunately, Logitech makes the G502 Proteus Spectrum which one the greatest mice I've ever used, right up there with the Logitech MX Master. If they would make a wireless Proteus Spectrum (or "Proteus" whatever because the lighting might be done away with on a wireless offering) then I would be all over it. All in all, I don't think I could recommend this G602, especially when the G502 is available... unless wireless is an absolute must, but then I prefer the MX Master in that regard. I don't do a lot of gaming so I use them all for productivity and video editing anyway.

Wish I had my MX back

I bought this mouse to replace an older mx revolution. I would take that mouse any day over this one. There is nothing technically wrong with this mouse, it's just that it pales in comparison to my old one. I had no problem picking up the mx one handed to relocate on the mouse pad, this one is heavy to one side and the buttons seem to interfere with my thumb on that side when I want to lift the mouse and relocate. I haven't found a lot of use for the extra buttons, but I don't use a lot of programs. I've also been unable to fine tune the mouse so far. I could nail any spot on the screen with the mx, but with this mouse it seems I get close and then have to very carefully nudge the pointer to what I want. It almost seems to jump instead of track. Hopefully it's a matter of practice, but it has been a few weeks. I've also started becoming annoyed with the fact that I can definitely hear a "click" from the left button yet I get no response from the program. Moving my finger further down the button seems to help this, but shouldn't the audible click indicate switch contact? I can't say for sure it's the mouse, but it is becoming more annoying.

Wanted to love it. BUT, I dont use the buttons to tweak the sensitivity. Instead, I remapped them for other functions. Problem is, they're just a little bit too far forward. To reach those buttons, I have to fully palm the device and extend my fingers all the way. Also, 6 buttons on the side, maybe I'm just clumsy, but they're location is slightly too elevated for where I like to rest my thumb. If I need to hit those buttons while moving the mouse, it feels awkward. If I need to hold any of those buttons down, its a hellish grip to maintain. And its a tad difficult to differentiate between them. Constantly popping the wrong one. I wouldn't discourage a friend if they wanted to try it, but it wouldn't be my first recommendation either.

I had the mouse for about 6 months and I started noticing the number 2 running on any text box I would open. At first I never suspected my mouse I thought my keyboard and nearly broke it trying to get the number 2 key apart, Then after it still not working I reformatted thinking maybe spyware. Still a freaking 2 on my text box like 22222222 repeatedly, till i started pushing the sides keys repeatedly and it stopped. But it does it all the time and this mouse is now useless. I can say in the time it was working it was a really great mouse, I use it mainly for gaming. Now I decided to go with the Logitech G Pro Gaming FPS Mouse with Advanced Gaming Sensor for Competitive Play. Which is also a corded mouse and in gaming thats always a plus.

Best when dongle is next to mouse

I have been using this mouse now for just over 5 months. When it was brand new, it was fantastic. Equal to any wired gaming mouse. Unfortunately, over time is has now become more of an frustration than anything. More than once I have wanted to throw it across the room and curse it. I would NOT call this a gaming mouse. Tracking is very touchy, and the wireless dongle must be darn near on top of the mouse. If it is not, you will experience stuttering and lag in mouse movement. Wireless? Yes, but you still must run a USB extension cable almost to the mouse. Might as well go with a wired mouse. I would still recommend it, but not sure if I would recommend it as a Gaming Mouse.

Back when this mouse first came out, it was all the talk. Now that there's several other technologies that allow you to use mice on any surface, this one falls short. It will not function on glass or any mirrored surface. The other downfall is the thumb buttons are too hard to distinguish when needing to press them quickly. I do not use it or gaming, but rather macros, etc. This mouse is also large - meaning if you don't like thumb rests or have small hands, this mouse probably isn't for you. That's where the criticism ends though. Legendary battery life, VERY nice soft plastic feel on your hand. My hand doesn't sweat using it.

    Great Price, Doesn't Last Long

I have purchased another G602 after the left button on the mouse stopped working. I have been up to that point extremely happy with it. Well 6 months later, the left button on my new one is now not working. Granted I put it though it's paces and I do have kids that use my computer but it should last longer than this. I am on the fence if I should get another one or try another brand. Overall again for the price it just might be worth it though.

I wasn't impressed, I bought the Logitech because my son has one and he loves it. I have had several mice for gaming from all of the brands and the g602 felt comfortable in my hand at the store but didn't do it for my hand when it came to real gameplay. Decent mouse but there are better options for less with brands like corsair or steel series. Razer is a better product but costs more. The mouse is good and I recommend it, it just didn't feel right in my hand and comfort is important for hours of gaming.

I've never had a wireless mouse before, so this was my first. I mostly play Overwatch, and enjoyed using it. Unfortunately, the bluetooth stopped connecting, and I would have to unplug then replug it in to get it working again. Eventually, that fix stopped working. I've since switched to a Logitech G402, that I happened to buy the same day "just in case" the wireless sucked... and I was right.

    More Than What I Need

I have used Logitech products for more than 10 years with no problems. The G602 does what I need but seems like the additional buttons are often hit when I did not mean to hit them. Guess this is not the G602's fault but operator error. Batteries do not last very long even when in eco mode and the bottom pads are very slippery on my desk. Like moving around on ice which often causes me to hit a button I did not mean to hit. Otherwise it has performed as advertised.

The battery life on this thing is great and this mouse would have been perfect for me if it weren't for the shoddy connection. Whether it was using the mouse on low batteries or brand new ones, the mouse would often stop responding as if the wireless USB was unplugged and replugged. It got very annoying to see the cursor randomly stop moving on the screen for a second every minute or so.

I didn't like it from the beginning, because it did't fit my hand. But now I get used to it and use it at least 8 hours/day for a couple of months - the battery still alive and mouse is doing well. I don't use any of extra buttons and other features of it, because I don't need them, but for someone they could be usefull.

This is a really good mouse and I really enjoy using it, however the one issue I had was that this mouse is too big for my hand to cover the buttons. The middle finger where the second right button is placed I would have to make an extra effort to stretch to the button. Sometimes I misclick when playing games.

It is comfortable, slides on the disk with zero resistance, has programmable buttons for different dpi or sensitivity. Cons: Not for gaming, it suddenly changes the dpi setting, and your pointer jumps across the screen, there is a significant lag.

For gaming mice I've used the G402, G502, and G602. And other Logitech mice M705, M720, Master (older version), and others. I'd say this mouse is a bit in between of M705 (marathon mouse) with a few additional gaming features. Personally, if wireless is not an issue I would stick with the G502.

Good mouse when you are slow and deliberate, but you can hardly keep from hitting some of the extra buttons that are directly above where your thumb rides. And Ive got smallish hands. Definately NOT a fast paced gaming mouse as its advertized. Maybe Smeagle or ET could use it without interference...

This is a relatively good entry-level wireless gaming mouse. Main problem I have is the connection dropping constantly. In my experience the receiver has to be fairly close to the mouse itself. At least Logitech does include a USB extender with the mouse. You get what you pay for.

I use the mouse on the arm of my chair, and I used a previous Logitech anywhere mouse in exactly the same fashion. Unfortunately, this one doesn't work nearly as well. I have a lot of jitter some times. It works, and has plenty of bells and whistles but for me it was a downgrade.

This mouse isn't bad. The wireless range leaves something to be desired. Doesn't have as many DPI options as a lot of other "gaming" mice, including it's predecessor the G502. Got it at a decent price or I would be a lot more upset, but, it'll probably be getting replaced soon.

I mostly like this mouse. It's very responsive and stylish. Only problem for me is my fat fingers. For regular use, it's perfect. For gaming however, the preset buttons on the side are very close together. Makes it difficult to select the lower buttons if you have thick fingers.
